Nicole did our Engagement shoot and I was blown away when we received our gallery. Each photo was absolutely stunning and we received so many compliments on them. The entire gallery really felt like a work of art. I am so grateful to have found her and I can't wait to see the results from when she shoots our wedding!!

Nicole photographed my legal wedding ceremony (during Covid) and then came all the way to HAWAII to shoot my big wedding celebration a year later! She is now about to shoot my maternity photo's and I couldn't be more excited. Nicole is so unbelievably professional, caring, genuine and funny! All of my photo's are absolutely stunning beyond words and I will treasure them forever. I stumbled upon Nicole's Instagram account when I got engaged and was looking for a photographer for our engagement shoot. Immediately I was drawn to her incredible photos and knew that I needed this vibe for my save the dates. Upon setting up a call to discuss further, I knew that Nicole was not only the right option for my engagement shoot but also my wedding. I booked her immediately! She was so helpful in finding us the perfect spots for our engagement shoot (despite the wind being a problem that day and not being able to cancel due to hair/makeup/etc). Nicole went above and beyond to go earlier and scope out different spots and what she thought would be the best option given the weather we were handed. My engagement photos came out amazing and I received so many compliments! For my wedding I knew I didn't have anything to worry about and that I was in the best of hands with Nicole! Again, I can't say this enough she LITERALLY GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure that she gets the perfect shot. She is a real, down to earth and genuine person, who also isn't scared to tell you what isn't working LOL but after all that's what we need right! To get the perfect shot - and that certainly is what Nicole delivers on! Of course my wedding photos came out amazing - I received a preview the next day of about a dozen photos and by the time I got back from my honeymoon I already had my full gallery, USB, a few sample prints and thank you card inserts for the gallery viewing. I honestly can't wait for the next time I need professional photos, because I know exactly where to go! My wife and I got married in the White Mountains of New Hampshire in July 2022. We planned the wedding 2 months prior and had no idea where to begin, so we joined a Facebook group for Intimate Weddings and Elopements. We asked the group for photographer recommendations. As you would imagine, we received hundreds of suggestions. One that popped out to us as our favorite was Custom by Nicole Photography. We contacted her and she immediately responded and the dates were available. She was extremely responsive and very easy to communicate with. We setup a call and reviewed what we were looking for. She was very accommodating to our needs, as my wife has a lot of health problems, so she asked if Nicole would covid test on the day of the wedding and she had no problem doing so. During the wedding, Nicole was very professional and also personable/easy going. We felt super comfortable with her. She gave us a sneak peak of our wedding photos a few days after the wedding and we were absolutely floored at how amazing they were. We had a vision in mind of what we wanted for our wedding photos and she went above and beyond our expectations. A month later, she gave us the entire portfolio. We were so happy with how they came out. We can't thank her enough for capturing every single moment from our wedding. We would 100000% recommend Nicole as a wedding elopement photographer. She is incredible, not only as a photographer, but as a person. I hope we can hire her again in the future to do some more epic photos.

My husband and I got married in October 2021. We are so thrilled we hired Nicole to photograph our wedding. She was professional, kind, and extremely prepared. Her work is absolutely beautiful. She met with us at the venue a few months before the wedding so we could walk through the day and understand where we'd like certain pictures taken. Nicole recently shot our wedding adventure photos and they were absolutely amazing. She was clearly very experienced and knew exactly how to pose us so that we'd look natural. My husband and I are from Chicago but wanted to do a small ceremony with just our parents and siblings at Bear Mountain. Because of COVID we we relied on Bear Mountain Inn's preferred vender list. We could not have had better luck with finding Nicole. Our pictures are amazing. I would honestly travel to New York just to use Nicole again. She knew great locations to go for photos and when it was too foggy to take photos at the top of the mountain she was able to come up with alternate locations quickly. I honestly couldn't be happier with how our photos turned out and all our family and friends keep raving about how good we look. I 100% recommend Nicole.

Nicole is truly gifted.  My fiance and I booked her for our engagement shoot at Minnewaska State Park after stumbling upon her work while searching for a creative photographer with a non-traditional style.  Nicole delivered that and so much more.  She made us feel very comfortable, helped with posing/ facial expressions, and the shoot flowed effortlessly.  Nicole braved a downpour and still managed to get stunning photos of us after the rain had passed.  We love every single photo we received and cannot wait to share them with guests on our wedding website and frame our absolute favorites to put on display in our home.  Nicole will absolutely be our go to photographer for future special occasion shoots!

From the moment we met Nicole at our venue, we knew we had picked the perfect photographer. She figured out what time sunset would be on our wedding date as well as the sun’s expected positioning to advise us on the perfect ceremony start time would be for photos—something that never would have crossed our minds! Nicole was beyond incredible!!! We could not have picked a better photographer. We absolutely LOVED working with her!!!! Nicole photographed our entire wedding ceremony and reception...as well as another smaller intimate ceremony and our rehearsal dinner which occurred on the prior night...as well as a last minute extra photo shoot that we added on, thanks to Nicole, so we could get photos in sunny weather the day before our wedding (which had a rainy forecast). So we spent A LOT of time with Nicole and we can really say with very strong confidence that she is totally and undeniably AMAZING. Not only did she take incredibly stunning photos of everything and is super talented, but also she was an absolute pleasure to work with. Nicole has a wonderful personality that kept us calm and reassured -- which is so important because she was such a big part of our entire wedding experience, which extended over the course of a whole weekend. Our ceremony was on top of a mountain and when the weather forecast wasn’t looking good (and Nicole was coming to photograph our rehearsal dinner the prior day), Nicole suggested we could take additional photos/time while the sun was shining -- and then she rearranged her personal schedule to make it work. We are sooo grateful to have those additional photos and wouldn’t have even thought of that idea without her. And her second photographer/shooter (Joel) was totally fabulous too!! We loved him as well! Nicole was very detail-oriented but also was fully aware of the big picture, whether it was relating to the actual images that she was photographing or relating to the people she was helping us coordinate and the events she was a part of. Having the balance of the big picture and details is the best combination. And all of these positive feelings/reviews aren’t just coming from my husband and me alone -- we actually got so many compliments during and after the wedding about Nicole! Our family and guests loved interacting with her and proactively came up to us to tell us how great they thought Nicole and Joel were. Nicole and Joel were capturing all of the amazing moments (but didn’t get in the way!), they were making sure not to miss a thing, they were nice to everyone, the photos look amazing so far, and people kept asking us how we found such a terrific photographer!! And on top of all of that, she was so easy to work with throughout the year leading up to our wedding. She was attentive, responsive, helpful, and had a positive attitude the whole time. We had a lot of unique requests and unique setting (e.g., our guests took a chairlift to the summit of a mountain for the ceremony), and she worked through it all with us. I simply cannot say enough great & incredible things about Nicole. My husband and I eloped in Maui, Hawaii this past March. The most important aspect of our elopement to me was for it to be stress free and to have the most AMAZING photos possible. Nicole gave me that. Nicole gave me the most beautiful pictures that I will cherish all of my life - I couldn't have even imagined them to turn out so perfect! Additionally, Nicole went ABOVE. AND. BEYOND. There’s an element of gambling in the decision making process for wedding vendors. Will everything come out right? Will the vendor show up? Is the vendor able to think fast and handle last minute changes? Do you and the vendor mesh well with ideas and expectations? In regards to Nicole Wagner of Custom by Nicole photography I will say she was and continues to be amazingly talented, professional, easy to work with and open to creative ideas (which by the way she blew us away in her execution.) Both my husband and myself were astonished by the finished product of all the amazing pictures that were taken, the incredible moments we are able to relive and elements of the wedding we didn’t get to see or take in on the day. We were seeking a photographer that was not traditional but could shoot the traditional shots our family wanted, but also capture more candid moments which we find more interesting and honest.

Nicole is truly an incredible photographer, an amazing artist who brought the most special, wonderful moments of our wedding day to life in photos! We are so lucky that she was a part of our big day and that we get to keep our memories forever! Nicole was always quick to respond and went above and beyond for us - for our engagement photos, I had always dreamed of my dog being a part of them but on our scheduled date (which had already had to be re-scheduled 3 times due to bad weather!), my dog was still recovering in the hospital and couldn't be there so Nicole found time on another day when she was in the City shooting another wedding, that we could meet her to snag a few special shots with her; I am forever grateful for how amazing Nicole was to do this for me/us. Nicole thinks through all the details, is very thorough, thoughtful, and clearly passionate and dedicated. She is very communicative and this makes a huge difference leading up to and on the big day. Her final products are so beautiful and clearly show her skill and talent with light, color, and composition. Our wedding album is still in the works but our engagement album is gorgeous and we cannot wait for more to come!

Nicole is an absolutely AMAZING photographer! From the first time I contacted her up until we received our final wedding photos and fusion video, Nicole was easily accessible and answered any questions that I had immediately. Leading up to our engagement shoot, Nicole helped us choose a location and choose our clothing. Before our wedding, we spoke constantly and she even helped me when I needed opinions on other wedding details. On the day of our wedding, things could not have gone smoother! Nicole was the most incredible photographer. Our photos had hints of drama, incredible color, and depth. Nicole went above and beyond for us, and really honored my husband's military background through her process and work. She is friendly, supportive, and eased the tension of the day. I could not have chosen a better photographer than Nicole!! I specifically researched for a photographer that could produce wedding photos that would not look “cheesy” as I feel a lot of wedding photos turn out to be and Nicole’s website popped up for “non cheesy” wedding photography! I had a list of about 45 photographers from our area and I narrowed it down to one.... Nicole. When we got engaged we knew we wanted a longer engagement to be able to take our time and enjoy the process. When I tell you I spent an entire year trying to find the most perfect photographer and I found her! I loved Nicole's attention to detail and how she seemed to have such a personal relationship with each of her brides and grooms. My husband and I were so nervous because we are not models but the second Nicole gets behind her camera, I have no idea how she does it but every single picture is magical. She has captured every important moment in mine and my husbands lives. Our engagement, our wedding, our maternity shoot, and our son Dawson's newborn shoot. I spent a lot of time researching vendors for our wedding because I wanted our memories to be perfect. I found Nicole on The Knot and as soon as I started looking through her portfolio, I knew I found our photographer. We meet in person and I described to her the theme I wanted for our wedding and what I was looking for. She contacted me shortly after with a great idea for our engagement photos. She even volunteered to help me decide on which dresses to wear for the engagement shoot, because she wanted it to come out perfect. I was so excited and I couldn't wait to work with her! I first came across Nicole's work when she shot one of my friend's engagement photos. Their photos were amazing and I knew I needed to work with Nicole too! Nicole photographed my engagement photos and I thought those blew my mind... but then my husband and I chose her to photograph our wedding and those photos left me speechless. Dear Hudson Valley brides - if you are looking for a photographer for your wedding there is only one place to look, Custom by Nicole. When looking for vendors, the photographer is the most important as when it is all said and done, pictures and memories are what you have to look back on your most special day. Nicole was, hands down, the best vendor selection we made. Not only do we have the most beautiful wedding picture, she takes so much time and care in all of the details making you feel so special! First we had amazing engagement photos and, from those, she made our wedding guest book with amazing composition and such high quality. It was beautiful. She continued to send us personalized cards throughout the year with various photos of us on them making us feel so special (plus it was great to keep on the fridge :) When it came time to schedule the day of events, she was a huge help! She advised on what she thought would work best but made sure to always listen to our wants and needs and make them happen. She also reminded us about all of the pictures we might want, but didn't think about (bc your head is filled with a million other things). When we got our photos, they were perfection. I felt like I was reliving the night. She captured the emotions and joy of the entire day and each photo was so artistic and magical. I had included a special provision for a USB in my contract so that my tech challenged family members could easily access the pics. She not only sent the USB, but it was custom in a special box and included 3 matted photos and a stand! It was amazing! We are currently making selections for our album and she sent us a link to view the beautiful bound album we will be receiving. I can't wait to see the finished album as I am sure it will be perfection too, as our entire experience with her is been just amazing!

I wish there were more stars to rate Nicole and her work. My sister-in-law originally found Nicole to photograph her wedding in 2011 and I was immediately in love. I knew when I got engaged that I could not have anyone else as my photographer, and she was even better than I had anticipated. From the engagement pics last October to our wedding this October Nicole has been wonderful and made us feel very comfortable in front of her camera. I am impressed by her professionalism and her ability to capture all of the greatest moments without being intrusive. She is the sweetest person and truly so talented. My wife and I had Nicole shoot our wedding back in 7-17-10. I highly recommend her, her eye to catch moments is really something. We just celebrated out sixth year anniversary and I decided to pull out the wedding album and have a look through the photos. Every picture in the album is special, I sat there going through the photos and relived that day. I could feel the emotions in the faces of our guest, our parent's, and the pretty much the vibe of the environment. Being that I live in NY and she is based out of Penn. I didn’t in fact meet with her in person until the day of my wedding. Let me tell you that didn’t matter because we had numerous phone conversations and I felt like I had known her for years! After the first time I spoke with her on the phone I was immediately comfortable and confident in her professionalism and experience. She was so organized and on top of things that I don’t know what I would have done without her. I loved the fact that you can customize her packages and that you get a cd with all the photos she takes at the wedding… retouched! Every since I posted some of her pictures on my facebook page I have gotten so many compliments. People are in aw with how beautiful her work is. I can’t wait to get them printed. To be wedding photos are the most important part of the entire day. My husband and I couldn’t have been happier with her services and could not have imagined our special day with her. I honestly cannot say enough about Nicole. Her work is impeccable! She captures every moment in a very artistic and non obstrusive way. Turn around time for photos was incredibly fast. Every single photo looks incredible. She is very creative and easy to work with. She also has a photo booth that can be set up at the reception. we did it and it was a huge hit. Everyone was in it taking photos. 2 strips of photos print - one as an extra keepsake for the guests and one for the bride and groom. I recommend Custom by Nicole to everyone!

Wow! I cannot say enough about Nicole. She is fabulous!!! I met Nicole about 3 years ago and I knew the day I met her and saw her pictures that one day I would have her as my photographer for my wedding. If you are looking for someone who takes more than just the standard 'stand there and smile' pictures then Nicole is your go to photographer! She finds the detail in everything and she has such a creative eye with capturing the moment -- just laughing with your friends or crying with your mom to formal shots as well. All around I would recommend Nicole to anyone and everyone. She works with you to make sure you get the pictures you want -- shes there taking pictures of things that are going on all around you yet you are too busy to notice. Hands down she is the best photographer around.

Nicole was amazingly talented, creative, and extremely professional. She had so many great ideas for different shots and she was contantly taking photos. She captured every single moment and every single little detail of our day. Our photos look like they are straight out of a bridal magazine.
