ki lift that's taken up to the ceremony location at the summit of the mountain, and there was another photo of the bridal party walking through a field of flowers; both took my breath away. Nature has always been a vital party of my and my now husband's relationship, and the way that she captured the beauty of both the people and nature in her photos was stunning. Nicole did our engagement shoot at Kaaterskill Falls, and I didn't know what to expect. I have always loved taking photos but didn't feel so natural or comfortable on the other side of the lens. I figured "if we come away with at least 10 photos that I love then we're good". Nicole sent us a gallery of hundreds of pictures and I loved all of them. She framed us beautifully in nature, and told our story through her images. I felt seen, and beautiful. Her guidance in the shoot was supportive and simple. The natural stances and candidness of her style brought out our relationship in these photos. I was blown away, and I still am. Two years later, Nicole did our wedding photos. It was a joy connecting with her again and having her at our wedding. She is a pro at this, and her balance of direction for larger groups and more candid moments for smaller groups and me and my husband made perfect sense and felt so natural (just like the photos). I loved how she went over to each of our tables and took their photos during dinner. The photos came back and allowed us to relive the best part we'll ever throw. The true candids caught of us in the moment display our genuine joy and emotion, and the shots from our sunset shoot and right after the ceremony are beautiful. Nicole took such good care of us, was a true calm sense mixed in with all the wedding emotions!! I'm sad that we won't get married again, so we won't be able to work together again. Maybe a maternity shoot to come!! All I'm saying is, she's the best, and I'd do it all over again because of her approach to working with us and the fabulous photos she has. I feel so fortunate to have them forever.

that I needed this vibe for my save the dates. Upon setting up a call to discuss further, I knew that Nicole was not only the right option for my engagement shoot but also my wedding. I booked her immediately! She was so helpful in finding us the perfect spots for our engagement shoot (despite the wind being a problem that day and not being able to cancel due to hair/makeup/etc). Nicole went above and beyond to go earlier and scope out different spots and what she thought would be the best option given the weather we were handed. Of course my wedding photos came out amazing - I received a preview the next day of about a dozen photos and by the time I got back from my honeymoon I already had my full gallery, USB, a few sample prints and thank you card inserts for the gallery viewing. I honestly can't wait for the next time I need professional photos, because I know exactly where to go! for Intimate Weddings and Elopements. We asked the group for photographer recommendations. As you would imagine, we received hundreds of suggestions. One that popped out to us as our favorite was Custom by Nicole Photography. We contacted her and she immediately responded and the dates were available. She was extremely responsive and very easy to communicate with. We setup a call and reviewed what we were looking for. She was very accommodating to our needs, as my wife has a lot of health problems, so she asked if Nicole would covid test on the day of the wedding and she had no problem doing so. During the wedding, Nicole was very professional and also personable/easy going. We felt super comfortable with her. She gave us a sneak peak of our wedding photos a few days after the wedding and we were absolutely floored at how amazing they were. We had a vision in mind of what we wanted for our wedding photos and she went above and beyond our expectations. A month later, she gave us the entire portfolio. We were so happy with how they came out. We can't thank her enough for capturing every single moment from our wedding. We would 100000% recommend Nicole as a wedding elopement photographer. on...as well as another smaller intimate ceremony and our rehearsal dinner which occurred on the prior night...as well as a last minute extra photo shoot that we added on, thanks to Nicole, so we could get photos in sunny weather the day before our wedding (which had a rainy forecast). So we spent A LOT of time with Nicole and we can really say with very strong confidence that she is totally and undeniably AMAZING. Not only did she take incredibly stunning photos of everything and is super talented, but also she was an absolute pleasure to work with. Nicole has a wonderful personality that kept us calm and reassured -- which is so important because she was such a big part of our entire wedding experience, which extended over the course of a whole weekend. Nicole was also super flexible and creative. She really went above and beyond -- she made sure we got all of the photos we wanted, found the most beautiful spots with the best light and best backgrounds, and facilitated our fun and enjoyment. Our ceremony was on top of a mountain and when the weather forecast wasn’t looking good (and Nicole was coming to photograph our rehearsal dinner the prior day), Nicole suggested we could take additional photos/time while the sun was shining -- and then she rearranged her personal schedule to make it work. We are sooo grateful to have those additional photos and wouldn’t have even thought of that idea without her. And her second photographer/shooter (Joel) was totally fabulous too!! We loved him as well! Nicole was very detail-oriented but also was fully aware of the big picture, whether it was relating to the actual images that she was photographing or relating to the people she was helping us coordinate and the events she was a part of. Having the balance of the big picture and details is the best combination. And all of these positive feelings/reviews aren’t just coming from my husband and me alone -- we actually got so many compliments during and after the wedding about Nicole! Our family and guests loved interacting with her and proactively came up to us to tell us how great they thought Nicole and Joel were. Nicole and Joel were capturing all of the amazing moments (but didn’t get in the way!), they were making sure not to miss a thing, they were nice to everyone, the photos look amazing so far, and people kept asking us how we found such a terrific photographer!! And on top of all of that, she was so easy to work with throughout the year leading up to our wedding. She was attentive, responsive, helpful, and had a positive attitude the whole time. We had a lot of unique requests and unique setting (e.g., our guests took a chairlift to the summit of a mountain for the ceremony), and she worked through it all with us. In regards to Nicole Wagner of Custom by Nicole photography I will say she was and continues to be amazingly talented, professional, easy to work with and open to creative ideas (which by the way she blew us away in her execution.) Both my husband and myself were astonished by the finished product of all the amazing pictures that were taken, the incredible moments we are able to relive and elements of the wedding we didn’t get to see or take in on the day. We were seeking a photographer that was not traditional but could shoot the traditional shots our family wanted, but also capture more candid moments which we find more interesting and honest.

folio, I knew I found our photographer. We meet in person and I described to her the theme I wanted for our wedding and what I was looking for. She contacted me shortly after with a great idea for our engagement photos. She completely understood what I was looking for with out pictures. We took quite a few bridal party pictures as well as bride and groom portraits there along with at our historic venue. Not only do we have the most beautiful wedding picture, she takes so much time and care in all of the details making you feel so special! First we had amazing engagement photos and, from those, she made our wedding guest book with amazing composition and such high quality. It was beautiful. She continued to send us personalized cards throughout the year with various photos of us on them making us feel so special (plus it was great to keep on the fridge :) When it came time to schedule the day of events, she was a huge help! She advised on what she thought would work best but made sure to always listen to our wants and needs and make them happen. She also reminded us about all of the pictures we might want, but didn't think about (bc your head is filled with a million other things). When we got our photos, they were perfection. I felt like I was reliving the night. She captured the emotions and joy of the entire day and each photo was so artistic and magical. I had included a special provision for a USB in my contract so that my tech challenged family members could easily access the pics. She not only sent the USB, but it was custom in a special box and included 3 matted photos and a stand! It was amazing! We are currently making selections for our album and she sent us a link to view the beautiful bound album we will be receiving. I can't wait to see the finished album as I am sure it will be perfection too, as our entire experience with her is been just amazing!

and I decided to pull out the wedding album and have a look through the photos. Every picture in the album is special, I sat there going through the photos and relived that day. I could feel the emotions in the faces of our guest, our parent's, and the pretty much the vibe of the environment. I'm not the type of guy who really gets emotional much and the wife will a test to that, these pictures made me tear up looking at them and to me that really says something and because of that I wanted to reach out to Nicole and tell her that even six years after these pictures were taken they carry more then just a image and I wouldn't change a thing about then.
