to make everything work. We finally got to have our big day and it did not disappoint. The music was wonderful and our guests had a great time. We gave him a lot of latitude with music choice and he did a great job reading our crowd. We also had Mike do some uplighting around the venue and it was totally worth it - it really made certain features like our sweetheart table and cake POP! Mike has a very thorough planning questionnaire so you can go through all the little details of the day. He did an excellent job day of keeping us on our timeline and coordinated with our other vendors throughout the day to ensure they were all working on the same page.

He managed to play Country, Pop, Latin music and Polka while keeping the dance floor alive! ade the day run smoothly was prepared for a weather change because we had our ceremony outside. Kept our guest entertained and happy! He even has a photo booth option to add and I am so glad we added it because our guest LOVED it. Seriously everyone kept asking where the photo booth came from. Michael is professional, kind, and knows how to D.J well. He wasn't awkward at all and read the room very well. As a bride and groom you kinda just pray everything runs smoothly and there are no awkward gaps, luckily our D.J ensured that everything ran smoothly and would speak to the wedding coordinator and knew the timeline of the day. I liked that Mike asked for songs that we did not want played, along with examples of artists/songs that we wanted. He made us our own Spotify playlist that we still listen to all the time 😊 All our friends and family had so much fun on the dance floor, the venue literally had to kick us out! Mike was also kind enough to take videos of the night and send them to us. He was friendly and super responsive throughout the process, including working with us on pushing our wedding date back due to the pandemic. Overall, he absolutely killed it!

ectic day dealing with weather, flipping and re-flipping our reception site, and dealing with other vendors during that process. Our wedding ended up starting late too. He waited until we made the final decision to have the reception outside and then he set up by himself in just a few minutes and started playing music in the background. He was very calm and chill during the whole process. He was all smiles and vibing the whole time, we loved it! It was nice to not have to worry about the DJ at all. The reception and dance party went on without a hitch and everybody had a blast! I’ve been to weddings that seem like the DJ just typed in “wedding dance playlist” and hit play. We really did not want multiple Bruno Mars songs in a row followed by the Macarena... He avoided all the corny over-played wedding songs we asked him not to play, and he played all the songs we did request while adding in some of his own song choices. He mixed and transitioned the songs together, and added some effects and scratching here and there which was cool! Not all DJs know how to do this well or at all. During our grand entrance, we wanted to walk out right on the drop of a particular song so DJ Mike made a loop before the drop that worked perfectly. All of his equipment was pro quality and worked great including lights, mixer, speakers, microphones, etc. I’ve been to weddings this past year that had DJ equipment malfunctions (wireless mics cutting out during the ceremony, and the music stopping abruptly during the dance party). The venue had a hard stop at 10pm but we kept the bar open for another hour. Even though we only booked him until 10pm, DJ Mike stayed the whole time playing music at lower volume in the background which made the end of the night wind down perfect. He got a feel for us and knew we wanted a fun party so he acted accordingly. He made the right song choices, kept the energy up, and was dancing and vibing behind the booth all night. I’m sure he will adjust to whatever vibe you are going for, whether it’s a party or maybe something more low-key. If we were to ever need DJ again, we would definitely hire Custom Fit Dj again. ’s. Not only did he get to know us personally, but he even took the time to get to know our guests. He listened to their requests and made sure to keep the party going all night! I’ve never known someone who can effortlessly transition from mariachi, to country, to hip hop, to reggeton. Our guests absolutely loved every song that played, the dance floor was never empty. Custom Fit DJ was the icing on the cake to our perfect wedding day.

e, and vision. He let us know early on in the planning that Matt would be our DJ for the day. I talked with both men over the phone to go over our vision and immediately felt confident that Matt would be a great fit for our wedding reception. Matt played all of the songs that we had requested for the ceremony and even had a Playlist set for the guests during cocktail hour. We pre-picked our song for the reception entrance and first dance. During our first dance, we were able to quietly que Matt to fade the song out as we didn't want to dance by ourselves for that long. I really appreciated that. Matt called our tables for dinner and announced other important events throughout the night like cake cutting and the sparkler exit. Matt played some fun wedding jams to get everyone at the wedding dancing and seamlessly went from one song to the next. Towards the end of our night we allowed guests to request songs and he did a great job of making those work during the reception. I wish we had another event coming up soon so that we could use Custom Fit DJ and especially Matt again. We will just have to recommend then to all of our friends getting married soon!

He also had a GREAT lighting set up! We opted for the additional up lights to set the vibe which can be set to any color you want! We also added on his brand NEW “club lights” for dancing. They were very fun but kept the vibe still classy! These can also be whatever colors you want. Last- he has an additional selfie photobooth kiosk that was perfect! The guest can use it throughout the entire night and email or text themselves the photos! It was right off the dance floor and he sent us the photos just a few days after the wedding! Our guest all loved it and I would 1000% recommend all the additional items Michael offers! If you want a great wedding DJ-go with Michael! He is a natural and takes great pride with his company! even thought of. I filled out his questionnaire/timeline and turned it in about 2 weeks before the wedding. We had one last 10 minute consult and everything was set! The day of the wedding Michael was so cordial and even offered to get us drinks. He helped me choose playlists through his Spotify set up which was more then helpful! Everyone loved his music and are still asking me about it! He read the party well and would keep things going if there were any lulls. My 9 year old nephew got sick the day of the wedding and Michael was kind enough to let him stand behind the Dj booth and help out. He even played my nephews request “La Bamba.” My nephew was out there dancing sure enough! We also got the photo booth and uplight option. I highly recommend both! Everyone loved the photo booth and we were laughing at everyone’s photos the next day! Michael sends a link and you can see everyone’s pictures/gifs. The uplights made our background stand out beautifully! I highly recommend him!

We found Michael through the Arizona Bridal Show and knew right away he was what we were looking for. Custom Fit DJ worked closesly with us to help our vision and dreams come true on our wedding day.
