With a fiancée who works in the wedding industry himself, we have never experienced such an unprofessional vendor. While the first meeting seemed to go fine, it was only downhill from there. Five weeks out from the wedding, the owner still had not created any samples to show us, or started on our work. When I asked if she could begin, she said there was plenty of time and to "relax." Later, when we went to her home to view what she had made, we were disappointed to see that nothing looked anything like the many pictures and notes we had given her. Instead of beautiful, bright bouquets, we were given mismatched, brown bouquets of silk flowers that looked like they had been flattened. She then completely disregarded notes and made the bride bouquet the completely wrong colors, and then blamed me, the bride, for not giving her pictures of my bouquet (I then had to simply turn over one page to reveal a picture of a bouquet with BRIDE written largely next to it). Upon giving her a second chance to redo things, they were barely altered and we terminated our contract (she kept the deposit). We tried to pick up supplies we had given her which we needed, and upon calling her to get them, she said she was out of town until the week before our wedding, and we would have to wait. Upon telling her this was unacceptable and our property, she rudely responded to requests, but did finally give us our property back by leaving it on her porch. Planning a wedding is an unfortunate time to learn a hard lesson, and we were left disappointed and lost our deposit money, and left searching for a florist weeks before our wedding.
