She also did my moms dress at the appointment. She was very intentional to have me walk around and dance to ensure we got the right measurements. Between my first and second fitting, I decided on a second dress and she agreed to do alterations d last minute on the 2nd dress. Sarah was so easy to work with and made me feel confident in my dress each visit! Also listen to her advice- bring someone to learn to bustle and bring your shoes!

there on my wedding day put my mind at complete ease that everything would come together well on the wedding day. I had a phone call with her prior to the day of where she collected essential information and I was able to express what my biggest areas of concern were. I knew that many of the fabrics of the dresses in my wedding party, as well as my own, were prone to wrinkles and I wanted them to look their absolute best. I had an extravagant silk gown with a long train and delicate embellishments that I was concerned would be wrinkled going down the aisle and also was not something I wanted to handle myself. I also knew of a few loose embellishments that I noticed after my last alterations appointment that Sarah handled effortlessly with complete skill that morning. Sarah handled every little thing. I felt that every detail was attended to, even the smallest of details that maybe nobody else would have noticed, but were important to me. I felt confident leading up to the wedding day that everything would be under control and Sarah went above and beyond expectations, not to mention, she was an absolute pleasure to work with on top of it all. Sarah is so sweet and professional. She works very quickly and efficiently. She put my worries at ease. All of the presentation and styling was lovely thanks to her! Not a thread was out of place. She handled everything! Thank you Sarah!!

She even made some small changes when I tried it back on to make sure it was completely perfect. If I ever need another gown altered or a custom gown, I wouldn’t hesitate to go to her. Sarah! It only took one fitting to answer all of my questions and get sized up. It was easy to set up the appointment through her website, as well. When I got the dress originally, I was nervous as to how it would be altered - it was too big in some places, too tight in others, and all around just did not fit my body. As a bride, I feel like a lot of people will tell you what you want to hear, but Sarah was very up front about whether a specific alteration would help the fit of the dress or not. And you know what? When I say extremely understanding it is an understatement; it was a really difficult part of the wedding process for me and she so quickly replied letting me know to not worry and we will make it work. The dress turn out BEAUTIFULLY and besides just hemming to the desired length and creating a bustle for late night, she fixed other things I might not have noticed (lining that was showing on the top for example) and work to have my off the shoulder straps exactly where I wanted them. She is extremely professional and knowledgeable about the wedding business and all styles of dresses. I highly recommend!

veil was custom and was such a statement in my photos and added so much to my look. Sarah was also so helpful when it came to making sure my dress felt comfortable. She was able to make adjustments and truly wanted to make me feel my best on my wedding day. Not only did she help with the dress, but she also helped when I had a wedding issue. The day before my wedding my hairstylist called in sick. I called Sarah knowing her connections with other vendors. Sarah was so willing to help and found Crissy at Primp me Up to come do my hair and my bridal parties hair the next morning. She truly cares about making each brides day special. Her attention to detail, calm, friendly, and sweet personality was so refreshing in the midst of having to deal with more stressful aspects of wedding planning. I can't recommend her highly enough!!! My dress fit perfectly and she was even able to fix some minor cosmetic damage that was previously visible on my off-the-rack dress. had a strapless dress that I wanted an off the shoulder draped sleeve added to along with some detail around the bust line. I brought a couple of pictures and Sarah not only executed it perfectly, she also made it so I had the option to wear it strapless later. At the pickup she noticed little details that were not perfect to her and made the corrections on the spot. She also executed my bustle perfectly and made it so easy for my maid of honor to do. I’m also plus size which can be intimidating when working through alterations. From the minute I walked in the door Sarah made me feel comfortable, and had additional suggestions and details to ensure my strapless dress fitted the way I wanted. I would absolutely use and recommend her for any alteration needs.

I wanted it to be super fitted. She took it in even more and made all of your typical alterations. She also added buttons down the back of my dress (like the one I had originally tried on) because the salon I went to failed to mention that I needed to order the dress with the buttons. I was so bummed, but when Sarah said she could add them I was ecstatic! They were perfect. My dress fit perfect and I felt beautiful. Not to mention: Sarah got it done in a few weeks! For my rehearsal dress: Sarah was honest with me. I had a slit in the dress I wanted closed up but she said there was not enough fabric (which was my own fault!) but she was able to get the rest of the alterations done no problem and quickly. I appreciated her honesty! For my veil: OMG my veil was simply amazing. I knew what I wanted, so I sent Sarah my inspo. I wanted it lined with a silver lining, with beads lining it every few inches. I wanted the beads/jewels she added to match my belt beads and she did just that. I was beautiful and worth every penny to get exactly what I wanted. She also helped me pick the length that went best with my gown which was also so helpful! Not only was her work amazing she is just a super nice and bright person to be around. I felt super comfortable telling her what I did and didn't like and she was honest with me about what she could do to make the dresses look and fit even better. Thanks again, Sarah!

she gave me some undergarment options, and concluded with, "Or...forget the Spanx! You are beautiful just the way you are and the lighting in that photo is extremely harsh coming down on you like that." I'd never even considered the lighting in the photo that was causing me concern, so her response was the boost I needed to chill. And with her normal alterations, the dress looked beautiful the day of my wedding - and I felt beautiful. She also gave me a bustle that looked chic and was pretty user friendly for my mom and maid of honor.

She recommended I tighten my straps but since they were so thin they were kind of uncomfortable tight but she was right they fell off my shoulder occasionally but I understood that risk with my decision to keep them loose - just an fyi for future brides with falling straps!

ess way too big. There was not one measurement that was anywhere near snug on my body. I knew I needed to hire the best of the best to make my vision come to life. Scheduling a consultation with Sarah was simple and convenient. All of the relevant information is on her website and sent via email. I am usually a person with a lot of questions, but there was no confusion whatsoever about how many appointments would be needed, how far in advance to schedule the appointments, or what happens if the dress needs additional alterations. Sarah is a remarkable designer and seamstress. I explained to her how I wanted the dress to fit, and she explained that, because of the fold-over at the top of my dress, she would have to deconstruct and reconstruct the dress to take it in. She was very calm and confident, as if taking apart my entire dress and putting it back together was no big task for her! I went to my 2nd appointment with her and was absolutely thrilled to find that the dress fit perfectly. She also did a French bustle which looked amazing. If you are thinking of hiring Sarah, definitely do it!
