We also greatly appreciated him spot checking with us before the event announcements to make sure we were still a "go" before he made the next announcement, or if we needed to wait just a little bit. That was extrely helpful and helped reduce the stress and rigidity of it all, which made the whole event much more relaxed and enjoyable!

in one of our favorite eclectic genres, drift phonk, he did a great job of mixing all our various favorite music styles from classical to 80s to golden oldies to phonk seamlessly. He was also great at suggestions during our consultation & honoring our no-play list. He kept the right balance of announcing, hyping, & letting things flow. And most importantly, he kept the dance floor full all night! We had a fantastic time, and all our guests did as well. Could not have been happier with how well everything went! The photobooth service also made us a custom frame for the prints that fit in our wedding themes.

: The recessional song played when the judge announced us as husband and wife was wrong. I don’t know if the cocktail hour and dinner music was being played but I couldn’t hear it and the hall echoed with everyone’s conversations. The song picked to play during the cake cutting was a tonal shift from our other songs. (To be fair, I did select DJ choice.) Only one of our bride/groom requested songs (besides the first dances songs) was played. My sister and brother-in-law’s 15th wedding anniversary was the next day and I asked for there to be a special shout to them. (I put in the form and asked the DJ when I requested the song to be played.) It didn’t happen. Majority of the songs played were country or cumbias. (Which our family/guest danced to, but we didn’t have equal amounts of Alt Pop and 90s/00s music as requested. Which the we were looking forward to.) The groom’s uncle requested the bunny hop. He’s an older gentleman. Which bunny hop would he be asking for? The classic/simple one or the early 00s with more “complex” steps. The complex song was played and we then awkwardly danced around in a circle because they were expecting the classic and no one knew the steps. Summary: He did a good job. We all danced and had a nice time. We just didn’t get majority of the songs we requested.

He read the room and played our songs that we sent in beforehand only when we were in the room, which made the night feel so much more personal. The music I didn’t tell him to play was on point and also was great for our guests too! We had an older crowd at our wedding and he played music that got some of them up and dancing. I am very picky with my music and the vibes my music creates and the whole crew was amazing! They made the whole night that much more magical.

At my small wedding (<100) the photobooth was a major hit and you get copies of every picture taken to get more candid shots of your guests. DJ was spot on regarding music hitting a mix of millennial pop and motown/funk as requested. Also, we added on sparkler cannon which could be done inside and went off for our last dance. Highly recommend, you will not regret this choice.
