Our July 5th wedding went from the Hyeholde to our home after Gov Wolf shut down the county. We weren’t going to delay it as my mother is sick. The team at Cuttings, Switched gear...
s came over and decorated our house! It was gorgeous! We got married in our front yard under a beautiful arch they did. They were so helpful and wonderful and transformed our home into a beautiful place to host a wedding. Can’t thank them enough. You won’t go wrong with Cuttings!
I remember the first time my now husband brought me flowers...I was blown away. They weren’t your typical “date flowers”. So, it only made sense that when it came time to our wed...
ding, we use that wonderful florist who helped me fall in love with Mike! After meeting with Julianna to discuss our wedding vision and share pictures we had saved I knew that Cuttings was the perfect fit! I felt like she 100% understood what we wanted for our wedding day. I went home and wouldn’t stop talking about how much I enjoyed our meeting! Julianna and her staff made our wedding day absolutely perfect. She was very flexible, and assured me if I wanted to change anything I could easily contact her and she could make it happen! The flowers were all beautiful from the flower girl crown to the centerpieces! I am so happy we decided to use Cuttings as our florist. I will continue to use Cuttings in the future and highly recommend them!
After meeting with them long in advance, I was called less than 48 hours before my wedding to tell me that they had lost my order information and all they had written down was the ...
date of my wedding and that I was wearing a green gown. After explaining to them that I was not wearing a green gown--and reviewing all of my order information AGAIN--I requested it in writing as I was concerned since they had lost it ONCE they would lose it again. No response.
When I called to remind them to send my request--I received the most horrific customer service. They should have been deeply apologetic and accommodating given their mistakes and instead they were unprofessional, unapologetic, and quite frankly rude. I would not recommend working with them.
Jim did an absolutely wonderful job planning the flowers for my wedding. Everything looked absolutely stunning on the day of the wedding and really transformed my reception. He was...
great to work with and was very detailed in listening to what I was looking for and making recommendations.
Jim was wonderful to work with and rolled with our changes effortlessly. The bride's bouquet was exactly what she wanted and the flowers were gorgeous. I was impress with the per...
fect freshness and scent of the peonies. The table arrangements were also exactly what we desired. Jim is very responsive and clear in his communications and we appreciated that as we were planning the wedding long-distance.
Cuttings of Sewickley is the best floral shop in Pittsburgh if not the country. I live in California but grew up in Sewickely and have seen Jim and his team's work for years. Jim h...
ad creative license for my wedding in October and he knocked it out of the park! All I did was tell Jim that I loved pink and gold and fall harvest but wanted to see those things with elegance to match our black tie wedding. He did an amazing job and we are still hearing compliments on the creativity of the flowers at our wedding. If I could give them 10 stars I would!
Jim at Cuttings is such a talented artist and floral designer. He completely understood my vision of how I wanted all my flowers to look at my outdoor wedding at my parents' home. ...
I gave him several photographs, but then let him take it from there. He created an amazing floral arch from grapevines, which he came by a month or so before to hang on the gazebo. Then he added fresh flowers the day of, which looked stunning for our ceremony. He helped to consult my mother with what kinds of flowers to plant in her gardens and planters that would look the best for the big day. All the arrangements were unique and fresh, and my bridal bouquet was just gorgeous. He even made a floral collar for our dog, who was a "flower dog" in the wedding. He was very willing to work within our budget, and he was able to give us everything we wanted within that price range. My only regret is that the flowers couldn't last forever. They were just amazing. :) Thank you Jim and all the crew at Cuttings for making my wedding such a stunning affair.
Cuttings created all flowers and centerpieces for my wedding. They were absolutely gorgeous.
Working with Jim was less than pleasant. At first, he was very friendly and helpful, then after I made a few changes to my order he became curt and impossible to reach by phone or...
email. I made countless phone calls and emails and never actually spoke to Jim himself. He has a very kind and helpful staff, it is the only reason I didn't go elsewhere. Also, I thought that my flowers were beautiful, but felt that the bouquets should have been larger for the price, especially mine.
We gave them an idea of the style that we liked and left the rest up to them. They didn't disappoint. The flowers lasted the entire night and were beautiful!
