My experience (long but may help):
We commissioned two custom rings. Gave sketch ideas, wifes more feminine, mine more masculine but still matching. CVB brought our sketches/ideas ...
to life and the metalwork is amazing.
My major issues are with the communication and rude replies I got on several instances. She was not good at getting back to us, we waited several months without saying anything then started to check in since we agreed on a date that was before our wedding, but it felt like pulling teeth just to get an update. We were understanding, just wanted some communication.
When we first got the rings back we were stunned, my wife's was perfect but mine had accent stones that were clearly different colors (not slightly, it was very obvious). She was insistent that she would do a swap for free (other than shipping) which I was fine with. Things popped up and it took ~ 7 months to send it back to her.
When I shipped it out I had made a shipping error and even after apologizing for it she was extremely rude to me for no reason (people make mistakes). I fixed the error and sent it out again. They did work very fast with better communication this time. I got the ring back and was in love with it since now the accent stones matched my center stone.
Later that day I did a little "shake test" since something looked a bit off and both of the accent stones are loose and when you press on them slightly it is very clear. There is no way that they missed this detail seeing as they are pro jewelers, to me meaning they rushed it and didnt care to fix it properly (a shame since it is such a beautiful piece).
I brought this concern up to her and she was extremely rude/defensive while also trying to gaslight me by saying it was disrespectful for me to even suggest it was rushed by bringing this concern up. After more sassy responses (telling me its fine and that I dont know what I am talking about, though you dont need to be a pro to know that loose stones = bad, and refusing to give me the accent stone details so I can go to elsewhere when they inevitably fall out, she just brushes me off and tells me to have a good weekend. She didnt even offer to fix it or help me at all. No advice, suggestions, or anything. So now I am stuck with loose stones in my custom ring, not being able to wear it without having slight anxiety in the back of my head.
I just want to be able to wear my wedding ring. I am a very reasonable person. Maybe its just me, but when you pay $3,000 for a custom ring I would expect it not to have loose stones (but somehow I am in the wrong for bringing that concern up). She has ruined customer jewelry for me as this was my first experience. I get people make mistakes, we should be able to work together to fix it. No need to be so rude and standoffish.
So if those things dont bother you then take a shot, like I said the metalwork and my wife's ring are amazing, but these other things carry a lot of wieght for me.
She was very unprofessional and her other person lacked craftmanship with my ring in the end. To push out a custom $3k ring with loose stones just baffles me, I dont get how someone could do that rather than pure laziness or lack of care. Sounds like most others didnt have this type of exerperience though, which I am happy for them to see.
But for me, to have a brand new ring I spent so much on already need 2 fixes while not even a year old honestly just makes me sad since this was so important to me and my wife.
Caysie is a dream to work with, just received my custom sapphire and diamond band, we are awe struck! ❤️
Caysie and her team are the best you're going to find. She made communication a human experience while being professional and getting things done. The turn around time and cost wer...
e very reasonable, actually delivering well before the projected timeline. The craftsmanship is unreal.
After looking at a thousand box store rings and her stand-out collection, anything off the shelf doesn't compare to what she delivered. If I had to take the pepsi challenge before diving into the world of engagement rings, I'd of thought this ring was more expensive compared to some high end brands nearly 4x the price. This was not a budget piece but we feel like we got much more value for the money.
There's nothing like having something custom made for you (especially when they make it easy). It feels like it's ours, and not something a salesperson sold us. Personally everything at the store looked pretty dull but this has character. It's not unique to be different, it's genuine style.
Lastly, if you're another guy reading this, just do it. They'll take care of you. This has been absolutely my favorite part of our wedding planning and had no idea how much pride and honor I'd feel giving her this. It shows respect and earns just as much back. Plus the life-long "he had this made for me" will be worth it.
Prices and connection are A+, the artistry and execution is S-tier, high as it gets.

, I knew that I needed to let her do her thing and create a custom CvB ring for me. The ring is more than I ever imagined and is truly a piece of art. I’m so thankful for her patience and creativity. I can’t wait for another chance to work with CvB.

setting setting for it. She found us an incredible deal on a jaw-dropping stone (one that totally fit our expectations and checked every box!), and the white-gold-palladium alloy that she recommended for the setting suits my sapphire to a T! We truly could not be happier with the result. And I cannot say enough good things about Caysie! She is kind, enthusiastic, creative, attentive, incredibly talented, and just so so wonderful at her job. The custom design process was quick and easy. My new Astrid is absolutely STUNNING and I would recommend CvB to anyone and everyone.

The end product is precise, incredibly well made and sparkly.
I highly recommend her.

d ordered two special bands for a special occasion celebrating many happy years of marriage. According to my husband, Caysie was beyond kind and helpful. So much so that he has a couple more projects up his sleeve!
Caysie not only created the two bands, but she also managed to source 7 beautiful old mine cut diamonds weighing 2.8 ctw for the "Norah" and 7 beautifully cut French Cut diamonds for the "Bailey" band. These stones could not be more beautiful.
My husband and Caysie managed to make a dream come true by checking off two things from my "dream list" and keep me completely unaware. I will be forever thankful for the guidance and kindness Caysie displayed in helping my husband through the process. She answered all of his questions and gave honest answers. He said he felt like a valued customer and that is priceless!

nce. Her attention to detail is really stands out in the final product and the workmanship is meticulous. And she is an absolute joy to work with! Warm, friendly, completely unintimidating - I instantly felt like a good friend was designing my ring! I am completely mesmerized by my ering and my bands. They are perfection! I am so thrilled with everything about the experience.
I have purchased a lovely band from Caysie and am in the process of having a matching engagement ring created. I love that all of her pieces are detailed, and they're very easy to ...
mix without being too matchy-matchy. The craftsmanship is just exquisite...like a little work of art I wear on my fingers. And I love the fact that I don't see anyone else with the same jewelry.
From a customer service aspect, I've found Caysie to be knowledgeable, patient, and a great communicator. For someone who hasn't gone through the bespoke process before, she made the entire thing painless. I will definitely be a returning customer!

cided to have a new diamond set in the Astrid designed by CVB. Now 37, I realized I am much more funky and fun than my original ring reflected. The Astrid is as unique as it is beautiful and I know that there's no chance of duplicates being sold at my local mall jewelry shop or Jared's. My diamond, set beautifully in my new Astrid ring, was safely sent to me after only 4 weeks. It was well worth the small investment for a bespoke ring that was half of what I would have paid to other ring designers that mass produce their designs for brides. My only regret is finding CVB because now I want one of everything she makes! Addiction is real ladies!

ew me in. After we chose a setting from her online portfolio, Caysie was able to adjust the design to fit an emerald cut center stone. The end result is a timeless ring that I will never tire of. I look forward to working with Caysie when the time comes for our wedding bands!
