Cynthea's Spa

Cynthea spent a few hours with myself and my bridal party ensuring that we all looked beautiful for my big day. Her biggest concern was that each of our natural beauty shined, so that while my picture would be stellar we would each appear to be ourselves. The day of the trial make-up Cynthea sat with me to understand the overall feel of the wedding, what my likes and dislikes were, and made suggestions. She was open to changing anything I was hesitant about. Cynthea made me feel incredibly special!

I used Cynthea for me and my bridal party the day of makeup. my price included a consultation in the spa where she worked with her knowledge and listened to what i wanted. she came to my hotel room in Burlington very early the morning of my wedding. She was on time, on schedule and very fun. All of us love the job she did on our makeup and i would recommend using her for your wedding.

Two days before my wedding, my usual salon lost my wax appt. I was not sure what to do. I was able to get into Cynthia’s spa with no issue. The staff was great, helpful, and made great wedding beauty suggestions. What I loved the most was I was able to make my appointment online. So no one at work needed to know all the details of what services I was getting. They sent me an email and text reminder and were ready for me when I came in.

Cynthea is GREAT! I don't wear make up on a daily basis, she made me look great, without looking overly made up. To use her own words, she made "each feature show up" but it was not over powering at all. She is also a joy to work with. It is clear she loves what she does and she wants you to be happy with the results.

The week before my wedding I had a trial make up run at the spa that was located in the place I was getting married. It was horrific! When I came out, I looked like I had 2 black eyes! After having a break down, I called Cynthea's and asked if they would travel to Stowe, VT the following weekend. She was very busy, but after she heard my story, she rescheduled some clients that just had trials that day and thanks to the clients understanding, and her flexibility, she made time for me. We did a trial and I felt much more confident! On the day of the wedding, she came to do make up, which she did an excellent job, but she also told my bidesmaids to go get changed, steamed my dress a little for me, and also did my sister's make up. I will be forever greatful to her for rescuing me and recommend her! She listens to what you want and that is very important on your most special day!!!

We had a great experience with Cynthea's Spa. We had them do the make up for myself, MOB and all my bridesmaids. They came to where we were all getting our hair done too. Everyone looked beautiful and still very much like themselves.

While I won't be able to use Cynthea Spa's services for my wedding due to some miscommunication, Cynthea was very reasonable and responsive to my concerns. She understands customers and provides very good customer service.

About 3 weeks from my wedding, I found myself in a bad spot. I had to let my other make-up/hair person go, and really needed someone else. A friend recommended Cynthea, and luckily she was available to do the make up for my wedding. Not only that, she helped me to find a new hair dresser who was also wonderful. Cynthea did a great job - at my preview she really listened to what I was looking for, and produced amazing results. She is truly a professional!

I did do a trial run for a photography session several months before the wedding. The staff understands a variety of lighting scenarios and make-up styles. I've seen Cynthea's work for photo shoots as well -- everything from a very natural look to dramatic. This was essential for my wedding as the event was covered by local news networks and print media. Cynthea is sensitive to the brides vision of the wedding, but not afraid to suggest things which, in her experience, would be best for the lighting, weather, etc. The level of caring and attention to detail which Cynthea delivers is exceptional. She takes a personal pride in how her clients look. I've been using Cynthea's spa services exclusively for the last couple of years. The week of my wedding, I scheduled a facial, waxing, massage, and make up services throughout the week to look and feel my best.
