Cynthia is everything a couple would ever hope for in their journey to engagement. The amount of time and effort she puts into each piece is exquisite. My fiancé was lucky enough to find Cynthia and boy am I forever grateful. Cynthia is kind and pure. As is her lovely assistant Phuong. Cynthia cares deeply about each and every person that walks into her gorgeous design studio.
Cynthia guided us through the diamond process with so much knowledge and insight. My husband and I explained what we were interested in and Cynthia got right to work. She taught us the quality of each diamond, suggested diamonds that would work well with my hand, DREW my hand & sketched my engagement ring as if she had dreamt about it before. It was an experience that I constantly replay in my head. It was amazing to see Cynthia at work creating a piece that we had waited so long for.
Cynthia’s talent as a jewelry designer is like no other. Her timeless pieces have brought so much happiness (and sparkle!) into our lives. The appointment begins with an analysis and a sketch of your hand. Cynthia recommended metals and designs, and then talked with us about our interests. My husband and I met while waiting in a line in NYC because I remarked that I didn't think paleontologists existed anymore: he's a paleontologist. We wanted to incorporate the idea of fossils and evolution into our bands, without being overly literal and hokey. Cynthia came up with a stunning, elegant designs that were understated. My favorite comment on my ring to date is, "It's at once so much more than a band, and yet not too much."
We had a very limited budget, and Cynthia was honest, direct, and came in under budget. Best of all, she treated us like her most valued customers, though we know many people spend more than we did by orders of magnitude. She was responsive to our concerns and truly collaborative in her designs, and she answered emails within 24 hours maximum at all times.
It was very important to us to begin our marriage with a celebration that was intentional and representative of our values. We loved supporting an artist and having something custom-made that wasn't cut off a massive tube of rings, and we got a product more beautiful than I could imagine. Every time I look at my hand, I am overjoyed by the powerful reminder of my partnership and I remember the beautiful experience we had choosing these markers together.

Every step of the way, both with the engagement ring and the wedding bands, she included us in the process. Cynthia even sent us renderings of what they would look like (and sketched everything out, using our input, in her office).
The end results are more beautiful that I could ever have imagined. My engagement ring is the most unique ring ever, and I get so many compliments on it still to this day. My wedding band is such a beautiful match to the engagement ring, and is incredible on its own as well.

The second piece she recently did for me was prompted by the fact that I could not find a quality necklace in a "Star of David" design, even at Cartier's and Tiffany's. Cynthia Britt fashioned a stunning and completely original piece, featuring a cut-out star, lined entirely in diamonds.
