Her bubbly, effervescent personality put everyone at ease - she felt less like a vendor and more like one of the girls. Cynthia is artful in the way she showcases each person's natural beauty; everyone looked gorgeous and polished without appearing overdone. And what's more, our makeup lasted all day long and into the night without touch-ups (except for lipstick on my part... but that's what happens when you inhale 3 pieces of cake!). Cynthia did an amazing job! She was very professional, efficient and engaging. In total there were nine ladies in need of make-up on the day - myself, six bridesmaids and the moms. Cynthia chatted with each lady before applying the makeup and lashes to ensure that she knew what they were aiming for (which they appreciated!). I stumbled upon Cynthia while looking for makeup artists that had good reviews, had experience with brides that wanted to feel natural on their wedding day and also someone that didn’t work for a large bridal company. Cynthia understood my vision from the start and travelled to my hotel room for a trial several months before my wedding. She totally nailed what I was looking for but also provided suggestions on how to achieve my look, which I TOTALLY needed. I am a simple girl who only wears mascara every day and occasionally a bit of bronzer if I’m trying to look nice (lol). So when it came to makeup I really didn’t want a new face plastered on me for my wedding day. It was also super important to my husband that I still looked like me. Cynthia is a total sweetheart and also hilarious. We had each other laughing the whole time we spent together on my wedding day. We got along so well and had a great time, I would hang out with Cynthia if I could! She made me feel so beautiful on the day of my wedding and I’m not usually the type to feel that way! One of the first things my husband said to me was that my makeup looked amazing and it was just the right amount. I was surprised he commented on it! That in itself made me feel even better! Also, she made my bridesmaids and mother in law look amazing as well! The best part was she came to our hotel and we didn’t have to go anywhere. If I could hire Cynthia again I would ten times over! She is the best!!!!

In addition to my bridal makeup, Cynthia also did makeup for bridesmaids, mother-of-the-groom, and a little blush and lip gloss for my little niece/flower girl! Since I had 10 bridesmaids (yes 10) - a "getting ready schedule" was a MUST and Cynthia helped me set out assigned times for girls to get their makeup done which was critical to keeping us on time and ready for the big day! Everyone looked absolutely stunning, and I have received SO many compliments on my bridal makeup as well. Cynthia is talented in so many ways when it comes to makeup, but boy oh boy she is the BEST when it comes to the eyes!!! My falsies looked absolutely captivating all day...and really pop in the photos as well :) The makeup looked beautiful, but it also was also comfortable!! I worried that wearing makeup on my wedding day would feel heavy, but this felt so light and effortless on my face :) As noted earlier, Cynthia is the most fun person to have around while getting ready on your wedding day. She caters the makeup to your preferences and what you like. She made me look like a prettier version of myself without looking like I was wearing too much makeup. I am particular about my makeup and have difficult skin but she was able to give me a glow. She also has a positive and uplifting attitude, and she is very easy to talk to -- a calming presence on your wedding day!
