Cypress Falls Event Center, a wedding venue located in Wimberley, Texas, is proud to be known as “the jewel of Texas Hill Country.” When you host your wedding here, you will become acquainted with precisely why this venue achieved that reputation. You will be greeted with warm hospitality and charm the minute you arrive at this lovely property. With the assistance of the accommodating staff, you will be able to exchange your vows surrounded by the natural beauty of Texas and the ones you love most. Facilities and Capacity At the Cypress Falls Event Center, you will have Cypress Creek as your ceremony backdrop. In the event of bad or unexpected weather, couples will still be able to continue on with their wedding plans because this venue is an indoor/ outdoor facility offering couples the ability to seamlessly move their wedding indoors if needed. The venue can accommodate up to 160 guests indoors and up to 250 guests outdoors. There is even an outdoor dance floor perfect for entertaining and dancing with your guests. You and your guests are welcome to continue your stay by taking advantage of the offered wedding room blocks. Once the reception ends feel free to walk over to the onsite bar, this leaves a "short walk home" at the end of the night. Your wedding party will find an abundance of outdoorsy activities to partake in, such as swimming, fishing, kayaking, and more. During your stay, you can also enjoy the downtown area of Wimberley, which is situated just two miles away. xing and flawless weekend. The planning process leading up was a breeze- we were planning from out of state, so we couldn’t be onsite for most of it. Ally took charge of all the details, from decor to vendor wrangling. During the wedding weekend itself, the whole team worked so hard to make sure I got to relax and not stress over the silly details. Robbie and Dee Dee absolutely killed it with the rehearsal dinner and after party, and Ms. Lisa was so helpful with all of our guests.
The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, and perfectly fit the vintage western vibe we wanted for our wedding. The creekside area is perfect for your guests to hang out and relax, and the bar onsite was great for everyone to hang out at night. Having everyone stay onsite in the hotel was truly just amazing. We actually got to spend quality time with our friends and family, not just a few minutes at the reception (plus we didn’t have to worry about anyone driving home after the party).
It’s so special that we’ll be able to come back and stay at Cypress Falls for years to come and relive all the wedding magic. The entire staff are delightful people that I will cherish for years to come, and I know my family will too. Wouldn’t have had our wedding anywhere else!

The venue had a homey feel, and we loved being able to stay Thursday-Sunday at the Lodge with all of our friends and family. Everyone on the staff was kind, helpful, and welcoming. On the day of when some things didn't go as planned, the venue took care of it and made my day stress-free. Everything looked amazing as well- they are SUPERB decorators that will take your ideas and run with them making everything look even better than I could have imagined. We had everything outdoors, which was a dream of mine, and it was perfect. They included many little touches that I wasn't expecting such as blankets on our chairs, cute lounge spaces for guests, and much more. Go Casey & Kelsey!!
If you want a relaxing and perfect wedding weekend, come to Cypress Falls. Having only one wedding per weekend makes you the ultimate priority & allows you to visit with your guests so much more than if you were rushed in & out in less than a day. re is so much attention to detail by the staff and they truly embrace you in a way that feels like family. The property itself is incredible and makes for such a fun wedding weekend (or wedding week if you want to extend the party like we did). Our family and friends had a blast at the swimming hole, hanging out in the Tavern, and staying at the Lodge. There is so much Texas charm everywhere you look. The ceremony site is gorgeous and serene. The indoor/outdoor reception area is a perfect setup and the decor turned out stunning. Even when it comes to unconventional details, the staff is there for you in a way that is above and beyond. Many of our family members could not attend the wedding due to travel restrictions with COVID-19. We were able to live-stream the ceremony and reception to them all the way in Australia which is something we will all cherish forever.

as ideal, and there were a lot of options to make it our own. The water of the creek is beautiful, even in the heat of early September when our wedding was. Throughout the entire process, the Cypress Falls ladies have been attentive to our needs and wishes, quick to respond enthusiastically and helpfully, and genuinely worked hard to make this the perfect day for us. There are a lot of moving parts to a wedding, and they have the puzzle mastered. In the beginning stages of planning, they are great at giving recommendations for reliable vendors in the area. The week and day of, we handed over the reigns and felt at ease knowing they had the final coordination dialed. They are truly masters at weddings, and do their job impeccably. Highly recommend hosting your big day at Cypress Falls, you'll be in the best hands!

ou envision. I loved having the décor meetings with the coordinators. They were quick to respond to questions/issues. If something went wrong the day of, I did not know about it. They were so organized and paid so much attention to detail. It was the perfect day and I could not have done it without them. We could not be happier that we chose The Cypress Falls Event Center as the venue for our wedding. There were so many things we liked about Cypress Falls, from the beautiful scenery surrounding us to the comfy bungalow for the bride and groom. ...
One thing that really sets it apart from other venues is the Cypress Falls Lodge attached to the very same building in which we had the reception. This made it completely worry-free that at the end of an evening of dancing with drinks, all of our guests were able to walk to their hotel room. There were a few complications with the hotel block (e.g. some confusion over the terms and a miscommunication about a room cancellation), but the Lodge was very helpful in working through those issues. The staff at the event center were so wonderful to work with. We didn't have a wedding planner or a day-of-coordinator, and we didn't need one, for they were incredibly helpful with decorations and day-of coordination. If we were to do it all over again, we would not hesitate to choose Cypress Falls again.

dging to make a whole weekend of it, having our rehearsal dinner on the water the night before. What really makes this place so special why I think EVERYONE should get married here is the staff. They go above and beyond to make sure it is everything you dreamed of and more. They handle everything from decor, day of coordination, vendors and everything in between. I watched my vision come to life and 90% of the decor and set up was done Thursday night so it took a lot of stress off. They also allow a ton of freedom with what you want to do and bring in. They helped me with last minute stuff and handled every detail without missing a beat. Our caterers were an hour and a half late and no one knew. That is how amazing they are! The staff feels like family by the time the wedding is here because of all of the time and effort they put in and how much they genuinely care. We’ve been back to visit and plan to continue to do so because we adore this place and their team. 10/10 recommend Cypress Falls! You will not regret choosing this place for one second!

plan (and not having to use it!) eased my worries! The all-inclusive package really is all-inclusive, I didn't worry about a single thing. Having helped coordinate and decorate for a few friends weddings, I knew I didn't want to do it for my own and the team eased any fear I had about letting them take the reigns and make it happen! They were always there when I needed them, answering every question I had, and making sure everything went smoothly! They even adjusted the aisle so that my grandfather could be wheeled down the aisle next to me on the grass! I am telling you, Cypress Falls is the BEST! Our guests loved the venue, enjoyed staying on the property, and felt like they never had to leave, which was exactly what we wanted! If you are looking for a "family reunion" or "camp" vibe, this is it!

CFEC really did a fantastic, fantastic job for our wedding.
The ceremony site is beautiful. The falls we're in full swing, so we got married to the tune of chirping birds and the soft sound of falling water.
On the day of, there was literally...
not a single issue that I or my (now) wife had to make a decision about. It started raining half way through dinner, so the coordinators and the event staff moved the dancefloor indoors before I even noticed that the weather had changed.
Having the Lodge adjacent to the venue was enormously convenient. The rooms were great for what we needed, which was to house 75 or so really drunk guests. They have a very cute retro hill country vibe. Very comfortable.
The Tavern was superb and superbly popular among our guests. The party moved there directly after the reception and kept on kickin'.
All in all, we would get married here annually if we thought we could take the pressure of planning a wedding more than once. Stop your search now, this is the place.

g day, thanks to this incredible team! Every single detail was perfect and i didn't have to lift a finger to do any of it. Every member we met through the entire process was completely professional and as sweet as can be. They all make you feel like your wedding is the most important thing to them, and they are all driven to make it more than everything you've ever hoped for. Whatever i wanted and needed at any point whether i was there or at home, 6 hours away, it was done! They were quick to answer e-mails and phone calls and were there to answer any questions and solve any issue. I HIGHLY recommend (and already have to a friend about to propose!) the Cypress Falls team to everyone! f Wimberley, or vineyards close by, or Jacob's Well. Even more so, the staff is extremely accommodating. We just got married there and booked out the entire lodge for 3 nights-4days. They were always there for us if we needed something, have an amazing bakery next door, a bar for guests with live music, and the beautiful venue/ceremony cite all right there for weddings or other events. I couldn't have asked for a smoother wedding as the staff was always right there besides us helping out; they're extremely organized, efficient, accommodating, and kind. I highly encourage you to stay here!!

The whole site is complete with a swimming creek, food truck, and lots of space for your guests to relax. If you book with Cypress Falls, you won't have to worry about anything. Plus, the venue site is incredibly beautiful and gorgeous. It made us marvel in God's creation. Perfect wedding venue!

for those of us couples that simply want our big day to be stretched out! We arrived in town on Wednesday and floated the river and afterwards (since the venue only had our event that Saturday) Lynnsey allowed for us to drop off any decor and shenanigans we brought from DFW. AND THAT WAS IT. Lynnsey and her crew took over and set up everything for us. My priority was to leave it up to my vendors to do their THANG, and oh boy did this team rock it out! The day of, we got ready at a river house nearby and arrived at the venue an hour or so before the ceremony. There were things I never explained to them (as far as decor) and they handled everything BEAUTIFULLY. I cannot say enough great things about this venue. Our family and friends booked at The Lodge (for their lodging needs) which is connected to the venue and we started our afterparty at The Tavern (coolest bar in the center of the venue) and ended in their Texas room where we finished off our bar from the reception. My groom and I booked their "honeymoon bungalow" at the back end of The Lodge and it was perfect! We stumbled back to it after our night of celebrating. To say that our guests had a good time would be an understatement. You have got to check this place out. Go! Now!

cor lighting) but wasn't "too country" or a barn style venue. This was the 1st stop on a lengthly list of possibilities and after I saw this place, I knew this was it.
Then came the wedding coordinating staff. Out of this WORLD customer service. I work in the film industry and trusting your crew to do their job well is the key to success. I gave these ladies my inspirations and ideas and they executed it all with gumption and a keen eye. And they were all so freakin creative and sweet! I wish I had taken more video of them since I really kind of consider them part of my life now.
I would recommend Cypress Falls Event Center in a heartbeat to any bride and groom looking to make their wedding a memorable celebration of excitement and fun. Who know? Also the grounds are incredible and one of the reasons were choice this venue. Dancing under the trees to our first dance was a dream of ours. After a storm in the area, they were quick to maintain the property, which always looks wonderful. We can't say enough to all the people that Cypress Falls Event Center, they made our wedding day prefect! We enjoyed our interactions so much with the staff that we are actually sad that we won't be as close to them in the future and plan to visit whenever we're in the area.

Second, it just felt like us. It was already very pretty there, but it also seemed very versatile and welcoming. Both of those characteristics define both of our personalities in a way.
It wasn’t long after we made our choice that it became quite apparent: we made the right decision! There were so many times we had to email Lynnsey Hastie, the manager, various questions and concerns. She almost always immediately returned our calls or emails. If not that very day, very soon. I know for a fact that she answered the same question more than once. Probably more than twice…
Overall, Lynnsey was incredibly easy to work with and very welcoming. The venue is beautiful. There are a lot of possibilities with this venue. It is so versatile. We loved having our guests on site. The after hours room was a great way to extend the celebration-they did a wonderful job decorating it with very little input. CF knew exactly what I wanted without me having to specify every small detail. We got lots of compliments on the beautiful venue and wedding overall. It was a great place for the kids that where there as well. There is plenty to keep them entertained throughout the wedding day, without having to be plugged in. It was nice seeing kids being kids again, either running around the grounds and playing, or swimming in the pool.
The ceremony space was intimate and perfect for us, it exudes a lovely hill country vibe without being too in your face HILL COUNTRY. Very understated, but in the best way.
The staff here are incredible. They did so much, probably more than we realize. But it makes it that much more incredible. It’s like they helped put this show on, that came off without a hitch. I know there was a TON of hard work that went into it, but I can’t put forth the words to say how much it meant. We didn’t want to go on our honeymoon, that weekend was so special! It was truly spectacular. We’ve had multiple people tell us after the fact it was the best wedding they’d ever been to. Which, at the end of the day is not the end-goal. But they helped accomplish that too, which is to make your most special day, THE most special day. Thanks, Lynnsey and Vanessa! Sorry we took so long to write this!

Our Rehearsal dinner was onsite Friday night across from the Native American's sacred Eagle Rock, a beautiful historic grotto across the creek (with access to take some amazing picture in)
Our family and friends filled up the the hotel rooms onsite and the cottages surrounding the property. No worries about folks drinking and driving or having to hiring shuttles. There's a neighborhood full of rentals a short walk from the event center too.
The ceremony was outside creek side and set up beautifully by Lynnsey Hastie and her detail oriented staff. Lynnsey made the entire process enjoyable from start to finish. She is a natural leader and has a talented team. She is one solid lady! I can tell they enjoy their job and making each wedding special. Our Whiskey and Wildflowers themed wedding and reception was a hit! Our family and friends haven't stopped calling to tell us!
It's a magical property and now a tradition may have started- an engaged couple that attended our wedding wants to get married there too!
Hotels and venues in the big city wanted to give us a small time block to enter and set up. It felt like a wedding factory at some places we went to before finding CFEC. At Cypress Falls Event Center we got their undivided attention and the staff will took their time to set up our dream day just as we wished! They even raided my Pintrest account! And the added touches- she just knew our style!

solutely breath taking, it's the employees and the owner - Lynnsey, Vanessa, and Brieann - who make it five star... They're like built in wedding coordinators! They are the most wonderful people you could dream of working with for your wedding!! I am terribly indecisive at times and struggled a lot during the planning process. They allowed me to visit multiple times and guided me through my own vision. They were so, so patient with me as they pulled out their inventory and brainstormed with me until I was stress-free. They gathered my dream wedding vision better than even I could. I was so concerned I hadn't bought enough to where it wouldn't be sparse and boring, but they made it SO beautiful and not a single area was lacking anything!! They know how to read your taste and where to meet you in order to make things run exactly as you have always dreamed. On my wedding day I was not even the least bit stressed thanks to these wonderful ladies... because of them this place is worth five times as much as you are paying! I would not have changed a single thing!!

I gave this venue 5 stars because : I showed up that weekend apprehensive about our big day and how everything was going to shake out....I left Cypress Falls feeling as if I "hadn't really done anything" in regards to set-up, pesky requests or the typical "no, our venue doesn't allow that here", which is what I had originally expected. Seamlessly, everything fell into place and I had the best night of my life! Family and friends were all pleased with the laid back culture of the venue as well as the beauty of the property. For the price and the performance, this venue was all that we could have asked for on our special day!

Perfect speakeasy looking bar with tin ceiling tiles, wood pub-style bar, and incredible stone fireplaces. You get the whole place for the weekend, so you and your guests can have a great time without feeling rushed.
The outdoor bar has glass lanterns in the trees, and twinkle lights everywhere. You can get married right on the river with great views. Oh, and did I mention the fire pit?
We got so many compliments on how fun and refreshing our wedding was. And they made it so easy! I wouldn't change a thing.

When you show up you're treated like a treasured family member instead of just someone to be shuffled through like cattle. So many of the venues that we saw were more like drive thru ceremony and reception sites. They may be fine for some, but I wanted us and our beloved guests to be able to truly soak up the whole experience. If you take away nothing else from my review, take that with you. YOUR WEDDING the focus and at CFEC you will feel that way the whole way through. Lynnsey was as excited about our plans as we were and you just don't find that everywhere. We had so many guests come up to us and tell us that it was hands down the best wedding they ever attended and I think that has to be attributed to the atmosphere at Cypress Falls.
We had a creekside ceremony that was just breathtakingly gorgeous with the creek and the falls running behind us. The enormous trees dripping with Spanish moss and twinkling lights just set it off perfectly. They have everything ready for your DJ or musicians to bring their equipment down and plug in. Set up and break down was a breeze because we had so much time and so much help from the staff. Dinner was in the Quarry Room and there was such wonderful flow and so much room for everyone. There were great outdoor spaces where everyone gathered and played lawn games and danced the night away on their outdoor dance floor. So many different areas at one venue so that no one feels crowded.
