s often. The bartender, Leslie, made me a fantastic smoked spiced pear old fashioned and it was absolutely delicious! We have been to Cypress Point many times, mostly to Cameron's Garage, to catch a Dirt Deacons show, but this was our first time to visit The Tavern for dinner. We are looking forward to another date night there and exceptional service again from Leslie and Delaney. Great job to all of the staff!

d had a long day and were exhausted. The website needs to be updated because the buffet nor steakhouse was open on Sunday night when online said they would be.

Our server, Taylor, was incredible! She was so friendly and knowledgeable, walked us through all the weekend specials, and convinced us to try the Tomahawk steak — hands down one of the best steaks we’ve ever had. To top it all off, the Bananas Foster dessert special was out of this world.
If you haven’t been by Cypress Point yet, you’re missing out. Between the safari and the steakhouse, it’s the perfect family experience. And trust me — ask for Taylor to guarantee amazing service!

es is by far the best in the area. And that is just the restaurant. The grocery store has so much to offer as well. The butcher counter at the grocery always has great choices at competitive pricing. Whether you need a place to take a date for a nice dinner or a spot to throw a few back and watch the game, this is the place.

First and last time going there today (Sunday)
Impressed with the beautiful building but the buffet left a lot to be desired. Plenty of chicken(fried, baked, buffalo tenders, fried tenders, etc ..) Fried chicken was seasoned well but overcooked...
and dry. Only two veggies on the buffet( cabbage and turnip greens). The cabbage was good! Buffet steam tables need to be turned up as almost everything was cold to room temp. Mashed potatoes from a box and gravy from a can. They had prime rib BUT it was held back in the kitchen and you had to ask for it but don't ask! It was somewhere between rare and cold blue in the center and tough as an old shoe. The catfish was ok if you like big chunks from BIG fish but not fillets like you'd find most other places. They also had bbq ribs back in the kitchen which you had to ask for. They were nice and tender but should have removed the back membrane from them before smoking. The dessert bar was skimpy and just ok..... I'd have been happier today with a box of KFC chicken and mashed potatoes and call it a day!
