WHO WE ARE
Welcome to our page! This cross was built for our wedding in October 2021. We absolutely loved it and want to donate it to a local church in a few years. However, in the meantime, it deserves to get so much more use out of it!
This cross is extremely sturdy and is SO beautiful. Many venues do not have an altarpiece and require customers to bring their own decorations. Contact us today to inquire about renting this gorgeous cross for your event!
The cross was constructed from redwood cedar. Both posts are 6 in x 6 in. The vertical piece is 10 ft tall and the horizontal piece is 6 ft wide. The base is 3 ft in diameter and extends up 12 inches tall where the vertical piece of the cross enters. They are connected with a hand-chiseled lap joint and held together using two (2) 7 in carriage bolts with nuts and washers. The pieces were sanded, pre-conditioned, and stained with almond wood finish. The final coat is an exterior polyurethane coating to extend its outdoor useful lifetime.
We provide transportation, set up, teardown, & pick up and are willing to travel within the Greater Houston area and surrounding counties. For example, Bryan-College Station, Waco, Galveston, The Woodlands, Montgomery, Sugar Land, Richmond, etc.
OUR HOPE
Half of the profit from each rental will be donated to the Seed Company. This organization works with local field partners across the world – who know their own languages best – to accelerate the work of Bible translation. As of 2021, they have begun their 1,800th language engagement. God calls us to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28) and it is so impactful to participate alongside an organization that is reaching lost people in the farthest ends of the earth.

Beautiful cross for any event! The owners were very kind and easy to work with. We used this cross for our wedding at The Weinberg in College Station, and it was a show stopper! I would highly recommend using Cypress Wedding Cross for your next event :)

This is a beautiful cross! Was definitely a statement piece for the ceremony and was used again in the reception space. Looked great with flowers draped across the center of it and in all photos. Could also tell that it was very sturdy/made well. Overall, a timeless piece that will look great for years to come!
