Finally she said the check can be dropped off to her PO Box but didn't give the PO Box number. My mother tied to contact her multiple times to get the PO Box number. And when she finally got back to my mother she told her the deposit wasn't made in enough time and she can't help her and had to nerve to tell her good luck. Now I need this cake literally in 10 days and now I'm scrambling to figure it I'll even be able to get it made. Horrible experience and I will be letting everyone in the Jacksonville area how unprofessional she is!!!!!!!!

n that amount of time. We agreed on a beautiful cake from her website's online gallery. The cake I received was exactly like the online picture. Diane was so professional when we picked up the cake. The couple cried when they saw it for the first time. The cake amazingly tasted more wonderful than it looked. All the layers and fillings (chocolate w/strawberry, red velvet, and lemon w/ pineapple) were delicious. I would absolutely recommend D&D .

The cake was reasonably priced and when I arrived at my venue it was already set up and looked exactly like the pictures I provided. When we tasted the cake for first time it tasted so yummy! There were no compliants from any of the guests either. I give Diane 5 stars on all aspects of the cake process!

From the time I met with Diane to discuss what I wanted she made the entire process all about me and what type of event I needed the cake for; I really love her for that. She added a special touch to my very special event. This was not my first time using D & D Cakes for an event and will definitely not be my last time. moist and tasted homemade. We both agreed that she would be the one to make our cake. Taste was #1 to me. Of course I wanted my cake to look nice, but taste was of the utmost importance. I saw pictures of Diane's work on her website and was realistic with what she could deliver. I spent about 2 hours of face time with Diane discussing the details of the cake to make sure that we were on the same page. Fast forward to my wedding day. I came down to look at the cake and saw that it was a little lopsided (not sure how or when it happened) and the color of my flowers didn't come close to matching the plum colored swatch that I sent to her. The flowers were a shade of blue. I wasn't impressed, but still held out hope that it would taste great. When my husband and I cut the bottom layer of the cake it had an orange like color to it and no strawberries and cream filling, which she failed to mention until a day or two after the wedding. But the biggest disappointment was the taste. It was dry and not close to what we sampled. The second layer was a bit better, but still not close. I even had some of my guests comment on how the taste of the cake was off. The cake was cut and served to my guests, so yes it was consumed. Not sure what I was suppose to do. Tell my guests not to eat the cake?? I didn't think to save Diane a piece so that she could re-taste what she should have already tasted, plus I went on my honeymoon the very next day. I thought a partial refund would have been appropriate, but when I spoke to Diane about my concerns she refused take responsibility. She said that she was sorry that I was disappointed, but only offered to send me a $13 check for the filling. She ruined an important aspect of my wedding and that was only worth $13 to her.
