We got our wedding bands at D Cole because we loved the idea of symbolizing our marriage with bands from a small, locally-owned business. We went in several times to look and many ...
times the owner/ jeweler was right there behind the counter ready to provide advice and answer any questions. The staff was always warm and helpful and we are very happy with our rings!
Not only did they work with my now husband on picking out the most perfect engagement ring, they were a pleasure to work with while picking out bands. Even cleaning my ring on an i...
mpromptu warm up spot during our first look photos!
They took two family rings and made them into a perfect (and recycled!) engagement ring that I absolutely adore. I went to discuss this and other rings before this at least five t...
imes and each time, I was met with a smile and patience as I talked through my ideas. Dean and his staff are truly incredible to work with!
We are BEYOND pleased with our wedding bands from D. Cole. The team worked with us to create my engagement ring first and later find a band that I am absolutely in love with! The...
y were very patient and did not pressure us into purchasing anything until we were 100% ready. They even encouraged us to look around and to come back once we were sure we knew what we liked - which NEVER happens at a jewelry store! At other places (Days, Springers, etc.) there was definitely a bit of pressure from the sales crew and that was a complete turn off for me. The team at D. Cole was not pressuring at all. They offer high quality jewelry at very reasonable prices, and the team is SO nice, so it feels good to support good people. I would never go anywhere else! :)
D. Cole Jewelers took our heirloom wedding bands and melted them down to make two new bands for us. The work was wonderful. The jewelers were very interested in the story of the he...
irloom bands and encouraged us to write it down and photograph the original bands. For the short version of our story that was printed in the NY Times: http://www.nytimes.com/slideshow/2014/05/11/fashion/weddings/20140511-WEDDINGALBUM.html?_r=0#13
D. Cole Jewelers were a delight to work with, are my favorite jeweler in Portland, and made us feel even more excited and gracious for the opportunity to give these rings with a history a continued life.
Ryan created the most incredible engagement ring for me - I cannot get over how gorgeous it is (even though it's been on my hand for quite a while now!) and I get compliments all t...
he time on how stunning it is. Having purchased a lot of jewelry at D. Cole over the years, we both felt really comfortable that we were in great hands when it came to purchasing a diamond ring, which, given it's such a big purchase and the details are so hard for the untrained eye to discern, is a really big deal. Ryan ordered a number of stones for my then fiance to pick from and at his request, they mounted the center stone in a temporary setting for him to ask - so that I could pick the final setting (yes, my guy is so thoughtful and cute!). The final ring is really astounding and I recommend them wholeheartedly! They crafted a matching wedding band that complements the ring perfectly and the sum is really better than the parts! That being said--keep your yellow claim slip--they don't use computers!
I have always loved the collection of tree of life jewelry d. cole makes in their shop, but I had no idea how great their customer service was before our wedding. Our rings are fe...
el one of a kind and were beautifully made right there in their shop. Beyond this, I brought in a pair of earrings that I wanted to borrow from my mother for the wedding day (only a week before the wedding!) that needed repairing. They found a great repair option and finished in just a few days at an extremely reasonable price. They also cleaned my rings when I dropped off the earrings for repair and when I picked them up free of charge so they would be extra sparkly for the big day. I plan to buy or repair all my jewelry here in the future!
D. Cole is our favorite jewelry store in Portland and the vast majority of their merchandise is original and made in-house. My engagement ring was purchased there as well as our w...
