Ryan created the most incredible engagement ring for me - I cannot get over how gorgeous it is (even though it's been on my hand for quite a while now!) and I get compliments all the time on how stunning it is. Having purchased a lot of jewelry at D. Cole over the years, we both felt really comfortable that we were in great hands when it came to purchasing a diamond ring, which, given it's such a big purchase and the details are so hard for the untrained eye to discern, is a really big deal. Ryan ordered a number of stones for my then fiance to pick from and at his request, they mounted the center stone in a temporary setting for him to ask - so that I could pick the final setting (yes, my guy is so thoughtful and cute!). The final ring is really astounding and I recommend them wholeheartedly! They crafted a matching wedding band that complements the ring perfectly and the sum is really better than the parts! That being said--keep your yellow claim slip--they don't use computers!

I have always loved the collection of tree of life jewelry d. cole makes in their shop, but I had no idea how great their customer service was before our wedding. Our rings are feel one of a kind and were beautifully made right there in their shop. Beyond this, I brought in a pair of earrings that I wanted to borrow from my mother for the wedding day (only a week before the wedding!) that needed repairing. They found a great repair option and finished in just a few days at an extremely reasonable price. They also cleaned my rings when I dropped off the earrings for repair and when I picked them up free of charge so they would be extra sparkly for the big day. I plan to buy or repair all my jewelry here in the future!

D. Cole is our favorite jewelry store in Portland and the vast majority of their merchandise is original and made in-house. My engagement ring was purchased there as well as our wedding bands. The staff is so helpful and friendly. I recommend highly!
