About this vendor
Congrats on your big day!
DIЯT & ROOTS started in San Francisco, CA and is continuing to spread its roots all over. I love preserving the happiness from every photo- from small & intimate, to grand, lavish affairs. I'm into the moments that are heartfelt and natural. My favorite thing is hearing how excited a couple is to receive their images and see all the little things they missed throughout the day. I know you put in all the hard work planning and so while the celebration is flying by, I'm putting in the hard work to seal those treasured memories into your photos. Please reach out and say hey! I would love to hear about your love story.

Diana photographed my daughters wedding and was phenomenal. She became family that day and we plan on having her photograph all our weddings from now on. Diana was a test trial hon...
estly. She didn't have much weddings to show/ said she couldn't show some of the ones she did so we were a bit nervous at first. When we reached out to her on thumbtack she replied so promptly to meet up with the family. With both sides of the parents and my daughter and her husband all in the interview she was so patient with us with answering questions and showing us her work. The day of the wedding she showed up early and took so many lovely pictures of decor guests and the family. Having Dianas spirit at the wedding was very nice. I think the nicest part was the cards she brought with her! They had the engagement pictures on one side and a link for guests to be able to view the wedding gallery and gave us all rights to be able to download the photos. So we didn’t have to send guests their photos which was a splendid relief. Look into hiring Diana and her team you wouldn’t regret it.
we were very ecstatic to receive our engagement gallery from Diana. Her way of photographing is a very unique way, were she made it interesting and relaxing for both my fiancé and ...
I. She gave us a huge list of ideas and places. My fiancé really wanted to to couple outfits, although it didn't really seem her style and approved it and we got some really cool shoots. Were excited to say we also have hired Diana for our wedding next year. Its nice having her from the start and she's always open to ideas and sending us links and such for our wedding. Thanks Diana again
Diana was the best photographer ever! She’s fun, energetic and has a great eye for photography! We have so many beautiful photos to choose from! She made us feel comfortable and ma...
de us laugh so much during our time with her! We got the full package worth her, 8 hours of her time, second photographer who also did a great job. And a videographer. She gave us a free engagement shoot that she styled. She made it very natural and fun to do.
The video she made was hand down amazing. She told us that she went to school for video work so she does it as a hobby and I can see where she comes from with that.
Diana bought a cute little table, had a book, and a bunch of mini polaroid cameras out for guests to take photos and write in notes! It was the sweetest little gift along with the wedding book.
Diana delivered the photos under a week after the wedding. I have never heard of such a good delivery time.
You have found your photographer if you are still looking!

product was her ability to capture our individual spirits! She comes ready with ideas and makes everything original and fresh.
We were delighted when Diana requested us to review her company.

Prior to the wedding - We interviewed a handful of companies but Diana and her team stood out as the most professional, accommodating, open to unique requests, etc. We were lost and felt overwhelmed in the weeks leading up to our wedding. They very calmly guided us, answered every question, helped explain how things work and some additional points of what to expect on the day of. It was exactly what we needed. They showed us past work of what they did, and it was we wanted. They had a lot of diversity in their work and have done countless of different cultures and events!
On the day of our wedding - they showed up in full force. They were very respectful to all of us (guests included - who still mention how amazing they were to everyone), knew exactly what they were doing, were prepared with all of our requests, made extra effort to get the shots we were hoping for, putting in extra effort across the board. They truly made us feel like we were their only clients. We felt comfortable the entire time and we're not usually open to being in front of a camera.
Post wedding - they stayed on top of all communication and kept us up to date. They kept sent us examples and ideas before they initiated them. We're very pleased with the results and are beyond lucky to have met and worked with Dirt and Roots! Thank you so much for everything!
PS... We still need to get one more copy of the wedding well contact you :p

otos without feel awkward in front of the camera ! She met with us first, talked about all our desires and then she curated every part to make sure we got every moment captured. We booked her for our wedding and we are so excited to see what she comes up with (:

o our vows, to the craziness of our reception, each photograph is beautiful and moving. We simply could not have asked for better photos!
In addition to Dianas incredible work, we were thrilled with her service. She is responsive, accommodating, creative, and has an amazingly fast turnaround - we received our wedding photos less than one week after our wedding! Needless to say, we have enjoyed re-visiting our wedding celebration via the photos many times since.
We give Diana our highest recommendation!

Diana Musa Photography was the very first wedding vendor we booked through thumbtack and she quickly set the bar for what we looked for in the rest of vendors! to be honest, I was...
a bit wary at first because she did not have much photos in display in her wedding photography portfolio, but we enjoyed meeting her in person, loved her vibe and gave her a chance. Not loving photographs of ourselves, we were super nervous going into our engagement shoot but she was so genuinely interested in us and our story and really took the time to get to know us. Our wedding day with her was nothing short of amazing. It's such an intimate day with much of it spent exclusively with photographer and we loved how comfortable it was and that we truly felt like we were spending our time with friends. Our wedding photos are incredible - every sneak peak Diana sent me took my breath away and the full set had us in tears. She rent the photos TWO DAYS FULLY EDITED after there wedding, knowing we would be extremely impatient. There were so many moments captured where we had no idea she was even near us! Thank you for working with the horrible weather and making us look great and sorry for the late review! Chao

rom a family friend who told us that she does great with all female parties and we gave her a try. Diana worked with the cultural differences and respected to only allow me to receive the photos and not post or share any of the work. She did research on our cultural traditions and was prepared not allowing it to be a surprise. She followed the wedding agenda closely, and even went above and beyond by coming to the salon to photograph us getting ready. She gave us great advice too while we were preparing for things last minute and helped us relax when things were getting stressful. It would be almost impossible to find an easy going and honest photographer like Diana. She will forever be our family photographer now too! It was great having you be there on our special day, we gained a friend too. (:
