My wedding was last weekend and Donte was the absolute best!! Everyone had an amazing time and I couldn't say more positive things about him and the wonderful woman who was there! The pictures turned out awesome and the props were amazing!!!

I was living every bride's nightmare. Our wedding date was a little over a month away and we still had no photographer. Every other photographer either fell through or was well outside of our price point. Just when I was resigning myself to having an iphone selfie wedding, my husband met Donte Norwood of D. Norwood Photography. He was a godsend! Within days we were working out plans for our engagement and wedding photography. He had a very affordable package plan that included prints and digitized versions of our pictures. He was prompt and professional. We knew right away that we had made the right choice. For our engagement photo shoot, we met at a nearby town known for its distinctive, quaint architectural features. Donte had many imaginative ideas that helped to make the photo shoot special. He also used the ideas that we had as well. (Including my geeky "Doctor Who Tardis" photo!) The experience felt like a partnership, which was neat. When we got the pictures back earlier than promised, we were quite impressed. The photos were quite lovely! My husband and I love technology, so it was really nice for us to be able to use drop box to see the pictures. On the day of the wedding, Donte was there early setting up lighting and doing other prep work. He was able to maximize those "in-between" moments. For example, he took formal pictures of the grooms men before the ceremony since they were ready, that way he wouldn't have to take pictures of them afterwards. This helped streamline the picture taking so that we could enjoy the wedding and reception. Donte captured amazing moments on camera. He also captured snippets of video. We had a nice mix of formal and informal shots that really captured the spirit of the day. He also photographed our reception as well. A videographer joined us at the last minute (a family friend who offered his services) and Donte worked with him quite well. Within a week or the wedding, we had a wedding trailer that was set to "our" song. What a nice surprise! It was so touching and a nice keepsake. We got married in mid-august, and by Labor Day we had our retouched digitized photos. Our print photos and album was available shortly thereafter. He did a great job and really captured our special day. The payment process was smooth and easy; there were a variety of ways to pay and everything was processed promptly. In retrospect, I wish that we'd known about D. Norwood Photography sooner; it would have saved me a lot of unnecessary stress! So, if you are looking for a photographer or videographer who is professional, prompt, friendly, affordable, and who produces excellent work, I strongly recommend that you consider D. Norwood Photography. You'll be glad that you did!
