Derek was so collaborative, he honored my song choices for the ceremony and gave me ideas for cocktail hour. He even worked with a keyboard player I hired to surprise my husband with a song and got her set up while we took photos. Derek and Ayce kept the whole thing under wraps and the whole thing went off with a bang! Bottom line: hire D Street Entertainment!

We had a smaller COVID wedding with only 50ish guests, but there was not even one song where people were not on the dance floor, which is exactly what I wanted. Another thing I loved about D Street, is that they brought along an amazing MC, Ace! So Derek was able to stay behind the DJ booth playing playing all the hits, and Ace was out on the floor passing the mic for speeches, and keeping the dance floor hyped up throughout then night! I cannot recommend Derek and the D Street team enough! 10/10 would choose them time and time again for our wedding DJs.

He really took into account everything we wanted to accomplish with our vibe and song list and didn't mind our last minute emails to get everything right. Derek was a great MC and he and Jus Clae brought excellent energy to our party. So many of our guests told us what awesome DJs we had :) As for a vinyl wedding, DO IT! We loved it. Made our wedding feel a little different. Our guests thought it was a ton of fun. It was the perfect way to showcase who we are. I would highly recommend D Street to any bride!!!

ng planning process, selecting a DJ was the most stressful for me. My main concern was making sure my guests had a good time, there weren't any awkward dragging moments, & that I had someone who wasn't just a DJ but an entertainer as well. After speaking with Derek Binette, I felt D Street was my perfect fit. While they exceeded every expectation & wish, I got so much more in the end. With DJ Dyron Ducati, I got someone who genuinely cared. You see, my wedding week was honestly one from hell. My husband's maternal grandfather had a massive heart attack that Monday & passed away that Wednesday. On that same Wednesday my paternal grandfather went into the hospital with pneumonia. My dad (who was supposed to walk me down the aisle) & his brother (who was my officiant) both traveled three hours south to be with their father & couldn't tell me when they'd be back. They returned the night of the rehearsal but the prognosis wasn't good. Still, everyone was trying their best to be all smiles, which is an almost impossible task for someone experiencing death & grief. I had a call with Dyron & my coordinator & made them aware of the situation. I knew emotions were going to be all over the place. Before Dyron even mentioned music, he told me that he was praying for me & my family & would continue to do so nightly. We talked for a long time about the resilience/importance of family and love and celebrating life & the blessing that our grandfathers had been. He shared stories with me about his family & passed along encouraging words that saw him through tough times. I can't being to describe the impact that his words had on me in that moment except that I was at complete peace. He assured me that he would be conscious of emotions that may surface but would do his best to give my family a night they could enjoy void of down time that might allow our minds to wonder to the events of that week..... and he did exactly that. My husband's grandmother, who had just lost her husband, was grinning ear to ear as we got her 93 year old sister out for a dance. My father, who was in the process of losing his father, twirled me around the dance floor to "You've Got a Friend in Me" like he had not a single care in the world. And I, for a few hours, danced with my new husband & our friends & had the most incredible time of my life. In a week that was so filled with heartache for our whole family, D Street & DJ Dyron Ducati provided not only an escape, but support for me as the bride. As you've gone through this wedding planning process, you've no doubt realized that there are a multitude of entertainment companies in this industry. A lot of those companies are probably good if not great. However, I truly think you would be hard pressed to find one that personally cares for their clients like D Street & Dyron. And trust me, when things go sideways on your big day, things that you can't control & can't begin to plan for in any way, people that care & will support you are the people you need. My grandfather passed the day after my wedding & no surprise, Dyron was there with his prayers & encouragement. For everything they did, I can't thank them enough. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend D Street.

over the various schedule of events for the evening. Derek was totally receptive to what we were trying to accomplish. We came up with entrance songs for our parents and all of our 16 person bridal party and he took extensive notes on the relationships we had with the people who made up our wedding party so that Chris would be armed with ammo--I mean, fun facts--to introduce everyone at the reception. Then of course, we moved on to discussing the music for the reception itself - we wanted a variety of party anthems , popular songs and classic motown and EVERY. SINGLE. PERSON. at our wedding got out and danced! I heard from numerous people throughout the night that the DJ was awesome and played the best set list. And it's true! There was not a single song that was played that I wish wasn't played. Derek knows what he's doing behind the booth and puts together mixes that get everyone on their feet. They were also totally flexible - my husband's groomsmen had an un-planned serenade of me on the dance floor and Derek and Chris just went with it. They provided the mic to the guys and let them enjoy themselves. There were a few small snags between the emcee and our planner that I will comment on, though I don't know that these were really Chris's fault. One or two of the introductions of the wedding party got mixed up, but it made for a good laugh. At the end of the night, for our wedding exit, the photographer was getting her stuff set up for our exit to be outside, but the emcee announced it a little too early so we ended up leaving from the wrong side - which I think could have been avoided if that had been communicated up front. I think with the craziness of the day, that info just didn't get relayed to him, so we ended up doing our exit twice (woops!) Again, not really Chris's fault, but I would just advise any brides to be sure little details like that get communicated so as not to confuse guests and to help things run a little smoother with your photographer. All that being said, Chris's energy throughout the night was absolutely amazing and he kept everyone pumped and having fun! We went with the Peachtree Package, which is the 3rd tier - we had some concerns about the look of a DJ booth in our reception setting - but drapery surprisingly costs a FORTUNE. Luckily, this package covered the table in an elegant manner that basically made it unnoticeable (not a bunch of ugly cords hanging everywhere and looking tacky in the background of photos). Derek provided wireless microphones for the best man and MOH's, who gave their speeches at the opposite side of the room from the DJ booth and the sound was perfect - no reverb, everyone could be heard clearly. All in all, I would highly recommend D Street for your wedding. They put together a wonderful evening for us and everyone had a great time. Seriously, a month later, people are still commenting that it was the most fun wedding they'd ever been to!

eting I knew he was THE one when he was ttaking time to explain transitions/styles of music he plays (Which is really anything). He was problem solving before he even arrived at the venue. He actually cares about what he does which makes your experience better. Transitions are smooth, there are no "Awkward silences" between songs he KEEPS THE PARTY MOVING. Their setup looks much better than most DJs & he will mic your entire ceremony for a small fee. Our guests are still RAVING about him!! In fact, one of our guests has already booked him for an event shes throwing next year. On top of everything, the price is unbeatable. He dressed in a suit with bowtie which was appropriate for our wedding and mixed in with the crowd wonderfully! cant say enough positive about DJ AETII!!! OH and PS.... My wedding night was HIS birthday and he still stayed after after hours to help. A+++ services. Would highly recommend!!!

They made sure that things (bouquet toss, cake cutting, etc.) ran smoothly and in a timely manner and even helped when there were holes in the event due to the wedding planner not keeping up with the timeline. We had our ideas and wants, but Jay also offered his own flair and advice to make our ceremony one people would never forget! stopped the music in the middle of my bridesmaids walking down the isle so they were walking down in complete silence. They he finally played the right song but for about 30 seconds for the matron of honor to walk down. The song I picked out for me to walk down, the DJ played the same thing right before the bridesmaids walked down. It was very unprofessionally. When we got into dinner, the DJ started playing hip hop rap music for dinner. I had to go and tell him he was doing a piss poor job. He changed everything around after that and then he did a great job from there. I blame it on the organization of the company in not being prepared for the song list. I will not use them again.

So many of my guests would not consider themselves to be dancers or people who even dance much at weddings, but EVERYONE was out on the dance floor and had an amazing time. Even several weeks after the wedding, I'm still having guests tell me what fun our reception and dancing was. The price was great, too - and they really do care about making it a great atmosphere. Case in point, I wasn't willing to splurge for the dance lighting, but they were nice enough to bring a couple along anyway - no charge. Definitely recommend these guys!!
