D Street Entertainment was one of the first vendors my husband and I booked for our wedding in August, and they were one of our favorite vendors from start to finish. Derek was especially responsive throughout the planning process and was always extremely positive--I looked forward to each time we reached out. On our wedding day, Derek and DJ Ayce did an excellent job of keeping the energy up throughout a long reception, and blended our many genres of music requested together seamlessly. Wait, why are you still reading this? Book with them already!!

I highly recommend using D Street Entertainment to be your DJ for your event! They handled the music for our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. My husband and I picked the music for ceremony but only gave guidance for what to play for each event the rest of the night, and they nailed it. They knew just what music to pick to fit the mood. DJ Derek B and emcee a.y.c.e did an amazing job engaging the crowd and keeping them on the dance floor during the reception. The photo booth they supplied was also a huge hit. We got so many compliments telling us how fun our wedding was and how great they were. I’m so thankful to D Street for making our wedding so fun and memorable!

Wow! Couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. Derek and Ayce brought so much energy to the wedding, everyone had a good time. I have specific instructions to read the crowd and play music through the decades, and my guests loved it, we got so many complements on song selection, but it was all Derek I only gave him direction. The photo booth was an absolute hit, and it is so much fun to be able to go through those photos. Finally, my granddad couldn’t travel to the wedding last minute and Derek helped us find a way to live stream and keep him included on our special day. A true professional, and a master of his craft. He goes above and beyond!

An absolute must have at your wedding! I communicated with Derek prior to my big day and he was always super responsive and great at giving details. Him and Ayce ended up DJing at the wedding and brought so much energy! My guests absolutely loved them and couldn't stop talking about them afterwards. We also had a photo booth which everyone loved and I have so many great pictures from! If you're looking for a DJ, look no further, they are TRULY the best!

Our experience with D Street Entertainment, from start to finish, was nothing short of awesome. We requested DJ Jus Clae for our wedding, and it was the best decision we ever made. He was the absolute BEST. We had several comments about how great the music was from our guests and I mean they got EVERYONE on the dance floor. These guys really enhanced our entire day and I couldn’t be more thankful. Derek was so easy to work with, responsive and professional. I cannot recommend D Street Entertainment enough. We had DJ Newk as our DJ, and let me tell you, he knows how to throw a party! I could not recommend him enough! Guests were on the dance floor all night, and raved about how impressed they were with him. He was professional, timely, and outgoing. My one request was to have a dance party, and I can confidently say DJ Newk went above and beyond. By the end of the wedding, it took guests quite a long time to leave the dance floor. We got married on 7-1-23 and booked DJ Derek B and Emcee Ayce for the “Two Man Show” and never wanted our reception to end! Back in 2021, I attended my friend’s wedding who also booked them, and I absolutely loved the fun vibes they created. I wanted the same for my wedding, and they totally knocked it out of the park from the first day I reached out to get information on pricing to the final song at our reception. Derek was very responsive and had excellent customer service skills. He was friendly, organized, and helpful throughout the booking and planning process. He also offered some suggestions to help with the flow of our wedding timeline as well as music recommendations that kept the crowd engaged. Emcee Ayce had a positive, vibrant personality and led awesome group dances to get our guests up and moving. At other times, he was out in the middle of the dance floor working the crowd and taking the energy to the next level. It is obvious that Derek and Ayce are a dynamic duo who not only are experienced and talented but also truly have a passion for their work!

Highly recommend D Street! They were so fun and really hyped everyone up and played the best music that was based on what we liked. They know how to keep a crowd going and make it so fun! Highly recommend their Photo Booth too- everyone loved it and the pictures are amazing!

We are so glad we hired our Dj from D street. He was absolutely amazing and planned the perfect playlists according to the type of music we wanted to play. He was great with showi mg up on time and communicating well and made the night so much fun for everyone there. We had a blast and are so thankful for this amazing company. Let me just say that DJ Derek and MC A.Y.C.E were absolutely AMAZING!! We went for the 'Two Man Show' and I am so glad we did! We had people out on the dance floor and I'm pretty sure I didn't leave the dance floor until we had to get out of the venue. DJ Derek was so kind and helped walk us through the process and helped with ideas on what songs to play to get people out there and dancing. We were so nervous and of course, us never having done this before, we had no idea what to do or expect. Derek was very patient with us during our conferences and help reassure us that he and A.Y.C.E were gonna make it happen. They were punctual and played everything right on cue. Being a big anime fanatic, I wanted to have some anime theme songs shuffled in and I was afraid that they wouldn't be able to do it at first but DJ Derek put in a whole 10+ minute montage together and it was the BEST THING EVER. I honestly don't think I danced so hard before. They brought out glow sticks which was such a lovely surprise and they interacted with the crowd, getting everyone pumped. They listened to our requests on when to start and finish songs. I could go on, just all in all fantastic! Thank you, DJ Derek and MC A.Y.C.E. for everything! You guys were amazing and I would recommend them to anyone who wants to have a freakin blast at their next event!

Let’s talk about Derrick and his DJ skills! AMAZING!!!! My husband and I had several conference calls with him regarding our taste in music. Well let’s just say he understood the assignment as earlier as phone call number one! I’m from the West coast (California) and my hubby is from the Midwest (Ohio) both of us now residents of GA. So you can only imagine our music selections! LOL! We threw it back to our childhood and brought it current! It was a party thanks to DStreet! I felt like he knew us for years because he nailed everything we wanted and we truly walked away feeling as if we had just made new friends. His understanding of our music tastes and prefer was just that personal! We used the two man show with DJ Derek & Emcee Ayce and it was perfect! We could not have had a better mix of music during every facet of the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. Meeting with Derek was very simple and he was able to incorporate all of our requests throughout the night including specific alma mater songs. We loved working with Derek! He's so easy to talk with, communicative - but most important, listens to what YOU want + guides you on best practices. Did you know you need a song to cut cake?! Our reception was a party. It added in my husband's grunge music + my 90s country + Spice Girls but also other complimenting party music. The dance floor was always full! Derek unfortunately got sick just before the wedding - we never even knew there was an issue! He came to us with another prepared member of his team and there was no added pressure to us.

We could not have chosen a better team for our wedding than DJ Derek and Emcee Ayce. They were incredible to work with and kept everyone on the dance floor -- even on a Sunday night! I went through the great reviews for too long before reaching out -- and knew right off the bat we'd be in for a great time. Everyone at our wedding loved Dyron! He was super attentive to our play/don't play list, but also kept the vibes going by reading the room and adjusting the music accordingly. There was never a time when the dance floor wasn't full of people. Highly recommend!!!

Derrick was so easy to work with! I learned about him, in addition to other DJ options, from my wedding planner. They spoke so highly of Derrick and his team so they put me in touch with him. Right off the bat I got really good vibes from Derrick. He cares about your wedding and your experience and he’s extremely professional. He has pride in his work and it shows. We went over what was important to me and he gave me a quote and some DJ options based on who was available. Everything was extremely easy during the whole process! I’m confident that if I need another DJ in the future, I would use Derricks team. We had DJ Newk and we had so much fun at our wedding! Incredible!! I’m so thankful that I came across D Street Entertainment on the Knot and was matched with Dyron Ducati for my wedding. I knew after an intro call with the founder, Derek, that D Street was the real deal! He was very professional, not pushy at all and clearly explained services/options. After booking I was set up with Dyron and felt like I hit the jackpot! During planning, he was so kind and professional with incredible experience and an amazing DJ voice! I really wanted a lively dance floor that was suitable for kids too and he made sure that happened!! So many people told me “the DJ is amazing!” the night of the wedding and afterwards. Dyron is an expert at reading the crowd and transitioning the music appropriately. I provided a sample list of songs and he took it to the next level. Could not be more happy with D Street/Dyron!

The only D.J and M.C you'll EVER NEED!! I personally am speaking as a bride who used them for my wedding day. I would trust professionals at DStreet Entertainment, D.J Derek and M.C Ayce at any venue. Derek was very accommodating and really looks to make a personal connection with the bride and groom. He loves music and it shows! He knows music which is great for a bride and groom with a broad spectrum of taste, like my husband and I. When my husband wanted to incorporate the opening score to "Star Wars" into our ceremony, I was terrified. D.j Derek found a smooth way to blend it perfectly into our transition to the lighting of the unity candle. It was so seamless, I actually loved it! And my husband was ecstatic. M.C Ayce is the family member you've never met, but shows up at the wedding with an infectious bright spirit. You can't help but fall in love with his energy. He's "extra", both literally and figuratively, but honestly worth every penny LOL! They are dynamic together! One month later my guest haven't stopped talking about the music and how engaging Ayce was. The more senior guest never complained during or after about the music being too loud or inappropriate. There are a lot of parts to planning a wedding and music is the communication piece. The second most important piece of the vision because it needs to reflect who you are as a couple but heard by everyone attending. So, it's important to choose a company that truly cares about you, but also knows how to be sensitive towards your closest friends and loved ones. And that's what you're going to get with DStreet Entertainment!!

If you're looking for a fun, upbeat, and passionate DJ and Emcee, look no further. These guys have it down to a science! I was so worried that nobody was going to dance at my small wedding but Derek and Ayce came to the rescue. Their songs and style had everyone moving throughout the entire reception from my 5 year old flower girl to even our oldest family members. It was a total blast and I would 10/10 recommend them anytime. Derek was so collaborative, he honored my song choices for the ceremony and gave me ideas for cocktail hour. He even worked with a keyboard player I hired to surprise my husband with a song and got her set up while we took photos. Derek and Ayce kept the whole thing under wraps and the whole thing went off with a bang! Bottom line: hire D Street Entertainment!

DJ Derick and MC AYCE were amazing! We had a super Jewish wedding and they were totally down to help us party and nail some crucial religious elements. Everything was so seamless from micing up the ceremony to creating customs dance mixes based off of our preferences. My guests and I were blown away!

We were lucky to come across D Street on multiple wedding planning websites where they were highly rated. After receiving my “SOS message,” I connected with Derek almost immediately. He was able to talk us off the ledge and assure us he could provide an amazing DJ, and he did! Dyron was everything we hoped for and more. He jumped on the phone with us over the weekend to get an overview of the wedding plan. Derek and Ayce were exactly what we needed at our wedding! DJ Derek B and MC Ayce made our wedding so much fun! They provided the mics and music for the ceremony and cocktail hour which were perfect, and the dinner music was great too, a great mix of fun upbeat songs and good music that everyone enjoyed. When the reception transitioned to a dance party and open dance floor after the formal dances, they had the best songs and transitions and kept almost the whole party on the dance floor at all times (I know I never left). We had so many people tell us throughout the night and after the wedding that we had the best DJ they'd ever seen at a wedding, and I couldn't agree more!

D Street Entertainment was hands down the BEST DJ we could have had for our wedding day. Derek and his team are responsive, flexible, and truly invested in making your day exactly what you want it to be. Prior to wedding day Derek and I had a few phone calls to discuss music preferences. From cocktail hour, to dinner music, to the dance floor, his music choices were SPOT ON for our crowd all night. We had a smaller COVID wedding with only 50ish guests, but there was not even one song where people were not on the dance floor, which is exactly what I wanted. Another thing I loved about D Street, is that they brought along an amazing MC, Ace! So Derek was able to stay behind the DJ booth playing playing all the hits, and Ace was out on the floor passing the mic for speeches, and keeping the dance floor hyped up throughout then night! I cannot recommend Derek and the D Street team enough! 10/10 would choose them time and time again for our wedding DJs.

DJ Derek and Emcee Ayce did an AMAZING job with our wedding!! We had been referred to D Street Entertainment by a friend, but had never actually witnessed their events in person. We took a leap of faith and were not disappointed. Derek was quick to respond to all of my emails, and was supportive every time I had new ideas or made changes. He was extremely reliable even throughout the uncertainty of covid. My husband and I are not partiers or dancers, so it was important to us that our DJ could keep the crowd going without us being in the center. I cannot give these guys enough stars to compensate for the fantastic job they did. Our guests had a blast and we couldn't be more pleased with the evening! D Street/Derek were amazing on our big day! We had a few meetings about what we wanted in terms of flow of music for the night and songs for specific moments, and Derek gave excellent advice and brought up things that we hadn't thought of without being at all controlling/critical of what we wanted as well. I think the very best thing that Derek was able to do though is read the room during our reception and take what we said we wanted and adapt to what the crowd was actaully responding to. His experience really showed, the quality of the tech accessories (mics, speakers, etc) was amazing, and he was able to make sure that people were dancing all night without needing specific guidance. Both of his setups (one outside for the ceremony and one inside for the reception) looked very sharp and there was ZERO audio issues. Everyone could hear the entire ceremony and all the speeches. And, the music collaboration process was a breeze! He felt the room and knew the next perfect song. If you’re looking for a DJ who can create an awesome experience with an AMAZING voice- Dyron is your guy. He’s amazing to work with. I’m still blown away. Thank you Dyron!

D Street Entertainment was the best choice for our wedding! We have had so many guests come up to us and share how impressed they were with DJ Newk! He kept the party going ALL night and we danced so hard - he was really good at working the crowd and making everyone feel welcome ! Leading up the the wedding working with D Street was easy and pleasant! They got back to us really quickly, and with lots of details which for a stressed out bride and groom is the best thing we can ask for! I could not say better things about Street Entertainment!

All the stars and high reviews for D Street! We are still smiling until our faces hurt thinking about our magical all-vinyl wedding last week! We are still receiving texts and messages from our guests as well who had an amazing time and we credit so much of that joy to Derrick and DJ Jus Clae who embraced and brought to life our vision for the greatest celebration ever. From setting the mood pre-ceremony with Led Zeppelin to finishing strong with a packed dance floor this dynamic duo kept us and the crowd moved and moving all night. I am literally trying to figure out what other parties I can throw just to do it all over again! Can’t recommend them highly enough. We are not only fans, we will consider them friends for life!

Derek is the BEST! He has the best energy and helped keep the dance floor moving all night long! From our initial meeting, he helped guide us and gave us direction for the ultimate playlist. He also had mics set up for our ceremony and everything went seamlessly! Could not recommend him and DStreetEntertainment enough!

What a party. We had an absolute blast at our wedding reception thanks to D-street! Derek was very responsive throughout the whole planning process, we never left an email or a phone call with questions unanswered. We chose the 2 man show to ensure we had an interactive experience with guests-Dj Don Julio and MC Chris Martin did such a great job at our reception. Chris made sure the dance floor was always full and he was amazing interacting with our guests-we got a precious picture of him dancing with my step-grandmother! It truly felt like the party of a lifetime. We had multiple guests rave about how awesome the music was and we left our reception feeling like it was more than we asked for. Music is really important to my husband and I am so, so so happy to say that we absolutely NAILED it with our DJ. We had the best experience with Derek and D Street Entertainment! From the first time we met Derek over coffee through the whole process - he was super. He made the whole thing easy for us. We wanted an all-vinyl wedding and we knew these were the right people to do it. Derek was very easy to coordinate and communicate with before the wedding which was really important to me. My then fiance had a great time sitting down with Derek to choose the records. We used a mix of our own and D Streets so there was tons to choose from. He really took into account everything we wanted to accomplish with our vibe and song list and didn't mind our last minute emails to get everything right. Derek was a great MC and he and Jus Clae brought excellent energy to our party. So many of our guests told us what awesome DJs we had :) As for a vinyl wedding, DO IT! We loved it. Made our wedding feel a little different. Our guests thought it was a ton of fun. It was the perfect way to showcase who we are. I would highly recommend D Street to any bride!!!
