Darryl is quick to reply, has all the information you'd ever need and helped answer any and all questions we had. He also has his own client portal that you can fill out with details about the wedding and enter in your song lists. We had a nice zoom meeting where he went over all the details and we were able to clarify our vision for the day. The day of the wedding we showed up early to the venue and Darryl was already there and ready to rock and roll. The lighting set up was awesome, he stuck to our song list, and the party was pumping all night long! He was so fun and great to talk with that I had 0 hesitations booking with D2 and would do it again in a heartbeat!

Starting with music selection – Darryl's software was super easy to use and it was helpful to sort our priorities for those "must play" songs, and even more so share our "do not play" list. The week before our wedding we hopped on a call together to go over the "vibes" of our wedding and Darryl got it right away as I told him my crowd also wanted a mix of some nostalgia emo tunes. Throughout the whole planning process Darryl was responsive and professional – not to mention fun to chat with! The wedding night the dance floor almost caved in we had it so packed – the night started off with tunes for all, but Darryl knew the right time to flip the switch. My one wish for the wedding was to have a dance floor that felt like a house party and it surely did! From 2000's rap, to our favorite middle school rap songs, to the songs that just make you want to go crazy – people were literally chanting DARRYL by the end of the night because every song was banger after banger. Seriously – this is your guy if you're looking for a lit dance floor. THANK YOU Darryl – you are the best!

We had a mix of older and young crowd and everyone had songs they felt comfortable dancing to. Mr. Daryl was actually a fill in when our original DJ got sick, but he kept me feeling confident the whole time with how professional and together he had everything. I cannot recommend him enough!! A good DJ can make all the difference and this one was so perfect for our wedding!

There was two songs I couldn't find on his system and he was able to get them for the wedding and they sounded great! I love looking through all photos to see how much everyone had fun. The lighting he used was so pretty and I love the colors he used. The monogram that was on the wall was so pretty. But he made our reception effortless and got through all speeches in a coordinated fashion with food courses. The music we selected he integrated in with some of his own playlist and kept the dance floor packed. So much so, we didn't get as much use out of the photo-booth he set up! But what we did get from the photo-booth was great and well worth it. I wish I could leave more stars and give a million more examples of how he went above and beyond and enhanced our wedding. Darryl was absolutely fantastic!!

We were a destination couple (which had it's own challenges with selecting vendors) from Connecticut and he has been so flexible and continuously made himself available for any question we had. He was also open to online video-chats since we could not meet in person which definitely made the process a lot smoother and in kind made us feel more comfortable. His online portal was very user-friendly and had an extensive music library; on top of being open to any special song request that he did not have beforehand. My husband and I had quite the variety of music genres on our music request and he nailed it. He also was very interactive with our guests and timed all events perfectly. We were continuously saying "we're not doing the traditional wedding" which he replied that there is no "traditional" anymore and every couple/wedding is different. The fact that he is able to maneuver around various requests and still put on a great performance with the bride, groom and their guests in mind speaks volumes. I would highly recommend Darryl and D2 Entertainment for your wedding reception! P.S.- WHO DAT!
