She got to know my fiance and I really well, including our likes/dislikes, to help plan our itinerary and offer a million suggestions. We also had a plethora of questions throughout our booking, and Kristin provided extremely detailed responses + was quick to reply with the information we were seeking before making final decisions. She uses the AXUS travel app for her clients, which was an incredible app for us while traveling, which included all of our bookings + documentation so we could follow our itinerary day to day easily. We did not have one glitch on our entire trip, and Kristin checked in on day 1 to make sure we had everything we needed - talk about amazing and genuine care for her clients. We were very overwhelmed with trying to figure out how to plan a trip to Asia. My co-worker, Melissa had used Kristin for her honeymoon to South Africa, and she came highly recommended. I can see why! When we approached her with a budget and destination, she got to know us and our preferences and choose accommodations, tour guides, restaurants, etc. that were spot on! The main thing was we didn’t even have a country or continent in mind, just a list of wishes so we really gave her a big project to narrow down for us. She was so patient to listen to everything we were looking for and gave a wonderful list of options and provided a lot of insight on what we’d need to prepare for the trip and a lot of great ideas on how to put it together including two nights at a destination along the way. I was recommended her by a friend who had a budget 4 times larger than ours and yet never felt like our much smaller vacation was ever a burden, we were treated like we were so special! Her recommendations were wonderful and we feel as if we got so much for what we spent, should we have booked it ourselves we would have spent much more too. It was such a win-win to have her guidance with this. We’ll never book another vacation without her!!! We received an incredible upgrade, along with a beautiful welcome floral arrangement and bottle of wine and note from the resort. Her connections with both properties ensured that even in foreign countries we were VIPs. The entire vacation felt as if we had just been married and was everything we waited 2 years for! Because we were out of the country we didn’t use our cell phones to call or text but the app that she had us download allowed us to be in constant contact whenever we needed anything so we always were connected for any questions. I will always recommend her to anyone, even if you could book it yourself, there’s no reason not to save a little money and have her expertise and experience to guide you! f a destination wedding but the coordination of everyone's flights, hotels and transportation. That is not a simple task. Kristin responded almost immediately to every email, phone call and text message (Even when it was at 6am or midnight). The hotel she recommended and photographer were phenomenal- I had never heard of the hotel (The Finest- Mexico) before and it was the nicest all inclusive hotel I have ever been to. And the photographer was amazing! (Susanna Antichi) Kristin negotiated so well with the hotel on wedding costs (flowers, decor, DJ ect.) that it covered the costs to have her come to our wedding and over see the vendors and set up. I do not know what we would have done with out her there! She made sure all of our family members had everything they needed, and I mean everything! She drove into town to get my husband Budlight (classy I know!) for the grooms room, ordered my dad a medical cane and had it shipped in for the day of the wedding, got the dry cleaning, coordinated the vendors and was able to score us the $500 a day bridal suite at no cost! And that's just the tip of the ice berg... Towards the end of the wedding ( and a few hours of partying...) we forgot to bring money to tip the vendors! I was barefoot in a wedding dress (no money) and my new husband was "3 sheets to the wind" from our all inclusive hotel. Kristin went to the ATM took out her own money and put the tip money in envelopes for us to hand to the vendors. Her own money! Our wedding ran flawlessly and was simply stunning. I was able to get every single thing I requested AND stayed on budget. I would highly recommend Kristin to anyone looking for a destination wedding/vacation coordinator and I will be using her to help us book future vacations. Even if you are not getting married but you are looking to go on a once in a lifetime vacation, Kristin and Destination Affairs should be your only choice. I know what you are thinking....no, I am not related to Kristin in any way- I just enjoyed working with her a lot!

ch and every guest had a great time, loved their room, food was excellent, staff was friendly. She steered us to the right resort after we considered so many. Kristin and Alicia spent the year working with our guests, booking their travel and assisting us with our planning. The resort was and wedding was exactly how we envisioned and we could not have pulled off such a fun, memorable, and seamless event in the Caribbean without her help! So many "things" came up that we never anticipated and she was always right there to take care of. Every one of our guests also got their entire travel itinerary and our weekend event schedule downloaded to a app , which us and our guests were blown away with! It also allowed all of us to group message, so we could easily locate each other. Good times had by all and we could not have done it without Kristin, Alicia, and Destination Affairs! Thank you!

me to listen and presented us with options we would not have been able to find on our own. We spent 5 nights at Six Senses then 5 nights at Four Seasons Kudda Huraa in Maldives. Its difficult to get from island to island but everything was pre-arranged and spot on timing wise. Kristin helped us with our budget and we got a honeymoon we never thought we could afford. We also got "little gifts and notes" when we checked in at each and an upgrade at Six Senses! The overnight safari in Dubai with Platinum Heritage tours was amazing. The Arabian safari was the cultural fix we were looking for. Star gazing, camel rides at sunrise, and she arranged breakfast with a beaudion. When deciding between room types, Kristin was a wealth of information. She knew the exact differences and details of the resorts we were considering. So helpful when your spending that amount of money. I could go on and on about the Maldives but wanted to keep this short and sweet. We will certainly be back for another trip soon, although I don't think anything can top that experience.

to the trip of a lifetime and completely stress-free. We live in Southern California and although Destination Affairs is in Boston, we always felt we were getting first-class, personal service. They always return phone calls and emails quickly if you can’t get ahold of them during business hours, and can skype if you prefer. We started our honeymoon in Tokyo & Kyoto, stopped for a day in Kuala Lumpur, then moved to Ubud & Jimbaran in Bali. Our entire trip was a little over 2 weeks and included lots of activities. Although that may sound pretty packed, we never felt stressed. In the beginning, Kristin and Averie sent us lists of hotels, flights, and activities. All we had to do was pick which ones we liked best and they took care of the rest. About a week before our honeymoon, we got access to an amazing smartphone app that had our entire trip itinerary complete with reminders, confirmation numbers, names and addresses (paper and email copies sent prior). Every hotel we stayed in was 5 stars with 5 star service, and great food. Whether it was making sushi in Kyoto, white water rafting in Ubud, or eating at 3 star Michelin restaurants, every activity was unique and fun. Our entire trip, Kristin and Averie were behind the scenes calling and confirming our plans the day prior to ensure that everything was on schedule. They work with a car service that was always punctual with friendly staff and clean cars. This service met us at the hotels and airports to transfer us to our next activity or destination. Destination Affairs made our honeymoon exactly what it should be – the best vacation we’ve ever had  Thank you guys for all your hard work!

s outstanding at getting back to us promptly, going over each detail, and making sure our requests were all fulfilled! We went to Paris/Santorini, Greece/Amsterdam for about a 2 week honeymoon, and it was the most amazing time! We stayed at a beloved hotel in Paris and an air bnb in Amsterdam that we booked ourselves, but Averie made sure all of our dinner reservations and recommendations were top notch and we had an amazing time! For Santorini, we stayed there 8 nights, and we had some specific requests: great views, private outdoor hot tub, good food, and Averie took so much time and effort to give us hotel recommendations that suited our needs. We ended up staying at the Andronis resort and it was absolutely the most beautiful hotel and views we've ever seen (and we have traveled pretty extensively). She did such a wonderful job when there was any flight mixup (we missed our connecting flight to Amsterdam), and was always accessible to us and so helpful, as well as a wonderful person to work with. She did such a good job and we would absolutely recommend Averie and Destination Affairs for any travel needs!

Averie was very detailed and organized, following up on each item and making sure it was exactly as we asked. They helped us decide on a location and gave us multiple options for amazing hotels that fit within our budget. Averie was quick to respond to any and every question the months leading up to our trip and Kristin actually made herself available while we were away in case we ran into any unforeseen issues. Our honeymoon to Bali blew our expectations out of the water and we have Kristin and Averie to thank for doing such an amazing job planning it! Every single part of the trip ran smoothly and was beyond amazing - for that we can't recommend them enough. Thank you both!!

which we exceeded by roughly 20%. When we took the long flight to Hawaii, we were seated in row 15--right in front of the exit row so our seats didn't recline. And, we were placed in the same row on our red eye home. In addition, we went to two different hotels, and the second one had us booked in a double room. They told us there was no reference to us being honeymooners on our reservation. Overall, we were very disappointed in the service we received, and our travel arrangements. We were told that our travel documents were sent to our house 3 weeks prior to our departure, which never came. Then, they were overnighted to us on the day of our wedding--so I had to physically go to the post office the day before we left to pick them up. We had booked everything six months ahead of time. I would never recommend Destination Affairs to anyone.

ew husband and I were not sure where exactly we wanted to go on our honeymoon and gave her only two things we wanted—to visit Lake Como and eat great food. Kristin came up with two totally different itineraries incorporating both things we requested. We were able to work with her to craft the perfect honeymoon! The planning process was very smooth and we felt completely prepared as we took off for our honeymoon. The accommodations that Kristin picked for us were outstanding!! It seemed like each hotel we visited was nicer than the last, and we ended up eating at three Michelin starred restaurants three days in a row!! Staying at the Hotel des Berges and eating at L’Auberge De I’lll was an experience of a lifetime and we are so thankful that Kristin booked it for us. We took a wine tour of the Alsace region that couldn’t have been better, and Avery worked with the company to customize an experience especially for us. We will absolutely use Destination Affairs for any future trips we take!

us the most and caused the most stress. We originally reached out to Kristin because of all her wonderful reviews. We were happy with her response time to our original request for her services and she seemed great at the beginning. We started our correspondence with her at the 3-4 month mark out from our honeymoon date. From the time we spoke to her about what we wanted, she had a summary to us in a matter of a few days. It was great. We decided to change our course a little and instead of doing just Kauai, go to San Francisco for a few days on the way to see Napa. She promised to revise the itinerary and then send us a few suggestions for tours/options for wine country. She sent us a revised itinerary and realized the first itinerary said it was for 10 days but really the quote was for 7. A little disappointing, but not a big deal. She also had my fiance's last name as mine which again was not a big deal. This was all within our first week of correspondence with her so I called her and gave her our down-payment. A little over a month goes by with no correspondence and I realized the final payment is due. According to her website it says: "Once deposit is placed, we then send out a “Complimentary Concierge email.” This includes carefully chosen local tour operators, excursions, restaurant recommendations, and anything and everything that will enrich your travel experience." I never heard about any excursions for Napa or any excursions in Hawaii or receive a revised invoice, so I figured ok she was busy. I email her about the final payment and a week goes by without any response. I finally call her myself and she apologizes and said she would send me the excursion info right away and took my final payment. Several weeks go by without any correspondence from her including her not processing our final payment as the money is still sitting in our account. This is now one month to our departure date and I am starting to really worry. I have no revised itinerary, no excursions, no final payment, and no paperwork making me worried if this wasn't even booked in the first place and she is not responding to any of my emails. Finally she responds almost 4 weeks after I gave her the final payment info, that it processed and that the final paperwork is in the mail. We are now about 3 1/2 weeks out from our honeymoon. A week goes by and there is no paperwork in the mail, and I emailed her mid week with no correspondence back. Finally I call her myself and she said she would send it overnight to me. Again, did not come. I call her again and she says she will have it hand delivered to my house. It was finally delivered less then one week to my honeymoon and 3 days before my wedding. She never once sent me anything about excursions but promised she would every time I spoke with her, so we called around Napa and most places were booked at this point to get a tour of wine country. There were other excursions we would have liked to do, but couldn't because it was too late. Overall she essentially booked two hotels, two flights, and a car and cause an enormous amount of stress. We could have booked this ourselves months in advance without all the stress. We are extremely disappointed with her services and are letting everyone we know not to use her.

re we could find hotels in our budget. She was very low key and did not pressure us into the trip. In addition - she was in touch throughout the trip and was able to help us along the way. She was very hands on. The wedding planning took up so much time that it was really key to have someone that was so helpful to make sure that our trip came out great. We are planning to use Destination Affairs on another trip. If you want to have a great honey moon this is the way to go. Thanks, Greg and Lauren

ts and Kristin personally emailed each and everyone of them and helped all of them with their reservations and any general questions they had about the island. Some of my guests were more challenging than other but Kristin dealt with all issues with such grace a professionalism that I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Planning a wedding is stressful enough so to just be able to hand over all travel issues to her was a tremendous help. In addition to working out the best hotel rates for not only us but our guests as well, she also took care of all the transfers to and from the airport for everybody. An extra nice touch was that we did not have to pay for our transfer, that was one of many gifts from Kristin. For our honeymoon she arranged a complimentary upgrade to the most amazing room at Jade Mountain which would’ve cost a lot more money. Once we got there she sent us a bottle of wine and left us a $100 credit for the spa. We also used Kristin to book a last minute trip to Mexico earlier in the year where she also used her connections to both upgrade our room and allowed other club privileges. At each destination when we arrived, there was a bottle of champagne waiting for us with a note from Kristin wishing us a wonderful trip. Simply said, Kristin goes above and beyond to make sure that you get the best rates and have the best stay at whatever destination you chose. Kristin has tremendous connections after years in the travel industry and I will never travel without using her services again.

isten made a really tough situation a little easier. Something we NEVER thought would happen did, and unfortunately we had a family tragedy the night of our wedding. I was an emotional wreck going from the happiest day of my life to the saddest in a moment, and the last thing on my mind was rearranging our honeymoon until after the funeral. We could have missed our honeymoon all together and lost all that money if we had planned it ourselves, but thankfully Kristen took care of everything and pushed back our reservation without any additional cost to us or loss of anything. Most importantly we didn't have to do a thing, quiet frankly I couldn't have. Thank you Destination Affairs.

Other than that, everything was fabulous. -To have the stress of planning a honeymoon taken off my hands and the cost come out about the same as it would if I'd booked on my own -To get tons of thoughtful "perks" and special treatment because everyone knew we were honeymooners before we got there -Gorgeous, clean, romantic, luxurious accommodations and transfers that went without a glitch My husband and I absolutely loved our honeymoon, it was exactly what we asked for and more. I will definitely book travel with Kristin again in the future!

We ended up booking a gorgeous over water bure on a private boutique property that felt intimate and luxurious. From the white beaches to the lush tropical scenery, to the unparalleled attention to detail, our experience was beyond our expectations! Kristin handled absolutely everything and the trip was amazing! We would recommend Destination Affairs to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable travel experience.

Once we booked the cruise and placed deposit, Kristin spent time emailing us over options for each port, in addition to the standard tours and excursions the cruise line offered! We were so impressed! For Rome and Chania (Crete), we chose not to take part on an excursion, and explored the cities ourselves. Kristin had great recommendations and gave us hidden spots off the tourist track. In Rome, she gave us tips on how to avoid the big lines at the Vatican. She recommended this great lunch spot (we will keep it a secret for now:), with amazing views of the city. In Chania she told us the name of a side street to get the best priced leather bags. Everything was perfect! She even checked in with us halfway during our cruise by leaving us a message in our cabin! Would so use again!

ur luggage was lost in route. Being literally in the middle of nowhere it seemed impossible for us to track down our luggage. With one call to Kristin, she was on it!!! She was calling the airlines every few hours to get an update, which allowed us to enjoy our honeymoon knowing she was doing everything she possibly could to get our luggage delivered. The airline was saying they couldn’t deliver our luggage for 5 days, but with Kristin’s persistence she was able to get it to us in 3 days. Now that we are back, she has offered to write a letter to the airlines on our behalf and work with our insurance to get expenses reimbursed. I don’t think this stuff is in her job description… Kristin is AMAZING!! One of the most difficult things I found during the wedding planning process was trying to find the time to coordinate with all the vendors, but Kristin made that easy. She always made herself available when it was convenient for us, which was usually nights and weekends. We had such a hard time deciding where our perfect honeymoon would be…. So we probably were not the easiest clients to deal with☺ However, Kristin was very patient with us and provided us lots of options to choose from. Her communication was always timely and her emails were so detailed that it was easy for us to comb through everything. Whenever I ask someone’s opinion about a restaurant, vacation, service, ect… I always ask them if they would do/use it again. That answer for me is ABSOLUTELY!! I can’t wait for Kristin / Destination Affairs to book our next vacation!!

Our honeymoon started off with our flight being cancelled and us being rebooked for the next day. We booked these tickets on our own with our miles, but Kristin jumped in right away to speak with airline agents on the phone and at the airport to make sure we could get on a flight the same day. When we arrived we had wonderful accommodations at the Four Seasons in Maui with a daily breakfast pass (amazing breakfast, breathtaking views). We also spent time at the Grand Hyatt in Kauai. She organized a number of activities for us. Sometimes it was hard to decide to choose from so many activities, and Kristin helped us narrow in on the best ones to suit our preferences. Every part of our travels was well organized (flights, hotels, cars, activities). She provided exceptional personalized service and was always available to help if we needed to get a hold of her at anytime during our trip. We felt very safe and taken care of, as if we were her most important client. It was an absolute pleasure having her work with us, and we will definitely book future trips with her again!
