Dacapo String Ensemble

Steve Velez, director and cellist for Da Capo Players, played the cello for our wedding ceremony. What a perfect choice for one of the most important aspects of our wedding! We were able to meet with him prior to the big day and hear his beautiful playing in the park where the ceremony took place. His sound is absolutely amazing; so beautiful and so classic. Steve provided music as the guests arrived, and then he played specifically requested pieces for the ceremony: the Prelude to Bach's Cello Suite No. 1, Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling In Love," and an adaptation of Bach's Cello Suite No. 6. The last two were both specially adapted by Steve for the ceremony. Steve's talent and professionalism helped so much to make our ceremony complete and special. He is truly a talented musician and a wonderful person.

They arrived on time and worked with my budget. They were supposed to be in black tuxedo and long dress, per the contract, but the wedding photos reflect that this wasn't the case (although they wore black), and had sunglasses on their head. Got the job done. Hard to reach prior to the wedding, even by email.

Dacapo played at my wedding ceremony as a classical trio and i must say they were just exquisite and perfect, everything i could have asked for and more. I did not finalized my music selection until a few days before the wedding and even then, i made a last minute change on my song to walk down the aisle. My ceremony turned out to be quicker and they stayed playing at the cocktail section because we had already settle on a time frame, not only that but they did a last minute request by the groom. I definitely made the right decision, and my wedding ceremony was amazing thanks to them.

Dacapo played a trio at my wedding on April 27th. They did such an amazing job. My guests really enjoyed listening to them. They played the songs I asked for The only reason I gave them a 4 instead of a 5 is because I found it difficult to get in touch with them before the wedding. I called 3 times and emailed with no response and wasn't able to finalize a music selection until a few days prior to the wedding.
