I attended my son's vow renewal in St Thomas. Dacota Travel took care of all the travel arrangements, including getting us to the spot where the renewal took place. They made everything so easy and were great to work with! I will use Dacota Travel for all of my travel needs from now on.

Best trip ever! Debbie (Dacota Travel) found the perfect honeymoon destination for us. We stayed at the Manchebo resort in Aruba. After I told Debbie how long I had to travel while in Alaska and, very generally, what I wanted to see on what budget, Debbie planned what ended up being THE trip of a lifetime!! She listened to what I valued most and least in an Alaskan adventure, and she planned accordingly, ensuring what I valued most was The. Most. Spectacular. Experience. EVER. I have never used a travel agent before, so I was unsure of what to expect. The whole experience was VERY easy, and it cost me nothing more than what I would have paid had I planned this all myself. Debbie gave me two possible itineraries from which to choose, both of which looked amazing. The itinerary was extremely detailed with directions such as "When you arrive at your hotel, walk across the street to [business name] to check in for the next morning's excursion and receive departure details." She even went out of her way to make sure a special need (storing/freezing breast milk to send home) would be accommodated at each hotel along the way--she personally called! Having Debbie as a travel agent saved me so much time, and my travel experience was worry-free and the trip of a lifetime. I highly highly highly highly recommend Debbie, and I will be using her again!!!

I was very, very pleased with Dacota Travel! I had actually used them on my first cruise several years ago and was very pleased with everything! So I called Debbie again for her help booking my son and his now wife's honey moon excursion. They had a wonderful time!!!! Working with Debbie made planning and booking our honeymoon an absolute breeze! She was very professional and always responsive with all of our requests. She was able to find the perfect resorts within our budget on the beautiful islands of Moorea and Bora Bora in the French Polynesia. All of our hotel transfers were taken care of and we did not have any worries. She even sent our itinerary in a very nice zippered folio which came quite in handy during our travels. We were able to schedule payments with her, which was quite convenient and gave us one less this to worry about during planning our wedding. Debbie is amazing! She is a great listener and pays attention to detail. She will plan a grand vacation on your budget. As we went into the process of honeymoon searching, we had no clue where to start. I had never planned a trip myself & my husband had always traveled with friends. We were a little worried about reaching out to a travel agent- but it was THE BEST THING we did. We were so scattered on where we wanted to go and how we wanted our honeymoon to be. Debbie was SO PATIENT with us as I had lots of questions :) She took time to figure out our likes and dislikes and what we enjoyed doing. From that, she was able to narrow down a list of places that were in our budget. Debbie was extremely prompt when answering emails. When it came time for the honeymoon, we were mailed a little package that had all the info we could need in it for our travel. We even got little luggage tags which we still use today! We ended up going to Jamaica at the Couples Resort and had a great time! They had all their water activities included, even scuba diving. Our favorite part was the catamaran cruise that took us on a day trip and it was a BLAST. We are so thankful we decided to use a travel agent & that we had one like Debbie. It made everything so much less stressful!!

Debbie from Dakota Travel helped us plan our honeymoon cruise. This was our first experience with a travel agent and it turned out great. Debbie helped us select a cruise that fit all of our requirements (price, dates, travel locations, etc). It took some time for us to choose but Debbie was always patient and more than willing to continue searching for us. This was our first cruise and Debbie informed us about what would happen on the cruise, reccomended hotels to stay at the night before (with parking for the duration included), offered to book our excursions, and even printed out our luggage tags for us. We just got back from our honeymoon to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, and it was awesome! When we were planning our honeymoon last year, we met Dacota Travel (along with lots of other travel agents) at a local bridal fair. Several contacted us after the fair, and we responded back to a couple with our honeymoon wish list. No one was as professional and timely as Debbie at Dacota Travel. Not only that, but she was anxious to find exactly what we had on our wish list, within reason. We thought if there were ever a time to be picky about what we wanted in a trip, our honeymoon was definitely a good time. It was very nice to have someone really listen to what we wanted, and not try to sell us on something different. Debbie had lots of ideas, suggestions, and recommendations. If we didn't like something, she would move on and come up with a better option. After the fun part of searching for the perfect honeymoon destination, Debbie was very organized and efficient in making sure our information was accurate and that all the little details were set. Before traveling, we received our travel documents, along with clear instructions about itinerary, customs info, ground transportation, everything we needed. She even assured us that if we needed to reach her while traveling, she was available. After 14 months of wedding planning, it felt great to head out on our honeymoon and be confident that all the travel arrangements were in place and all we had to do, was sit back relax and enjoy a great trip to celebrate our new union!

My wife and I Had the time of our lives on our honeymoon to Jamaica. We stayed at a beautiful, luxurious resort for our first week as husband and wife and loved every minute of it. Honestly we planned our wedding in somewhat of a rush, (4months) and without much money, & Dacota travel played a huge role in making it happen and making it incredible. Debbie was great with helping us plan a double honeymoon. We were so up in the air as to where to go or what to do and she was there to guide us every step of the way. We finally decided on Aruba and the whole time I really appreciated the fact that she was never pushy with her suggestions or opinions and really planned the trip with us instead of for us. My husband and I were on the fence about using a travel agent at first but it turned out to be so worth it! First, Debbie asked what we were looking for in a honeymoon and any places we were considering. From there, she suggested several places until we found the one that suited us best. After giving her our credit card info, she made the payments for us and handled everything. An extra touch that was so thoughtful was that she sent us a travel bag with all of our details in it. The bag had our travel itinerary book (which included a map of where we went and a travel page for family and friends so that they could know our flight details), luggage tags, and her information. We were so busy with planning the wedding and this made it so easy to keep track of everything! We just threw our passports in the bag and threw everything into our suitcase. We stayed at the couples tower isle resort in Jamaica. Debbie found us a great room, made sure the staff was aware that we should receive the honeymoon package, and even got us a $200 spa credit! She was also extremely responsive with any questions I had. All in all- an awesome person to work with! She made sure everything was perfect for our honeymoon!

Debbie planned my honeymoon in Costa Rica and I could not have asked for a better experience. All of the resorts, transport services, and excursions that she planned were perfect and allowed us to experience the best of Costa Rica. On the weekend of March 15, 2015 I took a trip to the Ocean Lodge located on St Simon Island in GA for my 4 year anniversary with my partner. This trip was well planned out by my travel agent, Debbie, from Dacota Travel and would not have been possible without her help! Initially I had no idea where I would be going for this trip, but in October of 2014 I reached out to Debbie and begin looking for options. She was very thorough and right away began to provide me with options. After she sent the first few options, I was able to give her more information to narrow down the search. Within a few weeks she found me the perfect option, Ocean Lodge in GA on St Simon Island. She was very patient with me as I couldn't book until March. She kept checking in and when it was time to book she took care of everything! She booked the stay and ensured that my dinner was booked as well as the turn down service! At dinner, I proposed to my partner of 4 years and it was nothing less than magical! I couldn't be more pleased with how it all turned out and we are both so thankful that Debbie with Dacota Travel helped us find this lovely location! We will definitely be using her services for all future trips, including our Honeymoon! We would recommend using Dacota Travel for all of your travel needs!

We loved working with Debbie on our honeymoon registry and trip to the Grand Caymans. We certainly put her through her paces with multiple ideas, itineraries, hotels, etc. She was up to the task and was extremely patient with us answering very promptly all of our questions and ensuring we were informed when making our decision. The only thing she couldn't do was change the color or our registry. Other than that she was superwoman and we had a great honeymoon. The hotel we stayed in was very beautiful, the staff was great and greeted us everytime we came in and out. The location of the hotel was in the perfect to where we wanted to go; Hershey Factory, the Zoo and visiting Amish country. I would recommend Dacota Travel to anyone who is looking to book a trip, they went above to make sure we (my wife and I) were satisfied with our visit.

I recently got married and found theknot.com a useful website. While looking for a honeymoon destination I came across Dacota Travel. We wanted to take a trip to Virginia, and Debbie found us a great deal for a weeks stay at The Powhatan Resort in Williamsburg. Debbie handled all the arrangements for our stay, she took care of everything. We didn’t have to worry about a thing, which made for a very enjoyable and carefree stay. We had a great time! Debbie form Dacota Travel was wonderful. We looked at planning our own honeymoon and discovered it was not as easy as we thought. Debbie worked within our budget and took care of everything. When we arrived at the hotel in Mexico, there were problems. When we called Debbie, she contacted the resort and handled it. Overall we were happy with our vacation and very happy with Dacota Travel's services. We will be using her for future vacations.

Overall our honey moon experience was wonderful. Although our travel agent was not familiar with the resort we chose, it was spectacular. She was easy to get a hold of and followed through with booking our plane tickets. I do wish she had had more experience with different types of resorts. Such as, smaller ones that we stayed in that were not large chains like Sandals.

We had Debbie help us with our honeymoon to Hawaii! It was such an amazing vacation. It truly is paradise on Earth. When we spoke to Debbie she asked what we would like to do while we were there. The answer was not too much, but a few things would be great. She set us up with the Old Lahaina Luau, which while attending some locals told us it was the most authentic on the Island. It was amazing! Debbie also gave us two suggestions of hotels and we picked The Hyatt Regency, it was a very nice hotel with 3 restaurants in it, a Macys and plenty of other little shops. Our honeymoon to Hawaii was amazing and we cannot thank Debbie and Dacota Travel enough! We also went snorkeling and on a sunset dinner cruise and both trips were fun and entertaining.
