Most wedding videographers will try to sell you on 4K (or 6K!), drones, gimbals, slow-mo, and cinematic transitions. But your wedding isn’t a Marvel movie. It’s a real day full of real moments, and we think it should feel that way when you rewatch it.
I started Dadflix after filming a few friends’ weddings on my old Handycam from the early 2000s. The footage felt different: raw, warm, nostalgic, and way more watchable than the slick, overproduced stuff we’re all used to. That’s when it clicked: memories shouldn’t look like Netflix.
Now, we shoot weddings the Dadflix way- on a real Handycam, by a professional videographer (who’s also a dad). It’s weirdly timeless, kinda blurry, and totally perfect.
No drones. No slow-mo. Just vibes.
