From the cocktail hour acoustics, special dances and dancing music, they blew us away. We booked them without seeing them prior and I am so glad we did! uch a great line up. BUT the BEST PART - they play the entire song by Meatloaf - Paradise by the Dashboard Light in its entirety and honestly that made our wedding night. It was amazing. They were so fun and highly recommend them if you are hiring a band for your wedding!!!

ctually didn't have an opportunity to see Daddy Pop prior to booking them due to our hectic schedule, so I was a little nervous, but I absolutely had no reason to be - Daddy Pop was amazing!!! They were so responsive and Liz was amazing in making me feel at ease. I knew it was going to be good when my uncle came up to us prior to being introduced and say "OMG! You got Daddy Pop as your band? We follow them all over - they are great!!" - they were amazing - so many of our guests came up to us and told us how fantastic they were and everyone was on the dancefloor all night! They handed us the mic for Sweet Caroline and shared their tambourine for some songs too! They made our wedding and we can't not recommend them enough - thank you Daddy Pop for an amazing time!

They make it interactive by bringing the MC out on the floor as well as some of the portable instruments, which my guests absolutely loved. Almost a week later, I am still getting calls and texts telling me how amazing the band sounded, how they loved the song choices, and how they will be recommending them to their friends. I've had several people tell me how fun and a nice change of pace it was to dance to a live band. I'm so happy with my decision to go with Daddy Pop and would 100% recommend them to anyone who needs a band for a special event.

They performed a great version of the Foo Fighters - “Learn to Fly”. Our first dance, my dance with my father, and my husband’s dance with his mother were all performed beautifully by the band. e weren't worried about a thing - from the recommending songs for our special dances to the order of the reception, everything they suggested worked out really well. DJ could've been better, but by the time the band was done everyone was too zonked out from dancing for four hours straight to really notice. Highly, highly, highly recommend. Great job, Daddy Pop!

romptu performance from their tour days! I cannot say enough good things about Daddy Pop! Our wedding guests said they were the best band, they've ever heard and they made the night that much more magical! I would recommend them!

ON of other bands but didn't see the same quality. We had a daytime wedding (11am-5pm) so we wanted to make sure we got everyone up and dancing. I can say that 85% of my 200 person wedding was on that dance floor. We are still getting positive feedback from our wedding and it's mainly "how good your band was!" Liz was amazing to work with and made sure every detail was checked off. She made my life (as the bride) a whole lot easier before the big day and during! My husband and I were most excited that they learned a song for us by Band of Horses. It was done PERFECTLY. It's a very difficult song to do and we couldn't believe how well they nailed it! Don is also an amazing artist. He managed our ceremony, played the piano throughout our cocktail hour and of course killed it during our reception. I can honestly say Daddy Pop is one of the leading wedding bands out there. I hope to see them at a wedding soon, otherwise I will be going to see them perform at The Downtown!

I've honestly never seen a wedding where everyone from age 5 (the flower girl) to 80 years old spent most of the night dancing. Even weeks after our wedding people are still talking about the band. Also, I should mention they were exceptionally easy to work with prior to the wedding as well as day of. If you're thinking about hiring them don't think twice and do it! I promise you won't regret it.

A year after that, our other friends hired Daddy Pop for their wedding, and once again, everyone raved about the band. The day after we booked our venue for our wedding, the first thing I did was call up Daddy Pop to see if they were available. I didn't need to spend a second thinking about bands. I've been to over 30 weddings in my life, and Daddy Pop was all I wanted. In all honestly, I would have changed the wedding date if they weren't available. About a month before the wedding, I filled out all of the necessary paperwork. I barely highlighted any "must play" or "do not play" songs because I had complete faith that the band would be able to read the crowd the day of the wedding, and make sure everyone was up on the dance floor. About two weeks before the wedding, the band leader, Liz, called to speak with me. She was a bit surprised about how open we were to anything, in which I just said, "You are incredible, and anything you do will be perfect." I just asked that one of my favorite songs would be played at some point when I was in the room. The day of the wedding, I couldn't have been happier. The band has a new singer, Chris, who brought a totally amazing vibe to the group. I loved that the band came out on the dance floor and interacted with the guests. They knew exactly what to sing and when to perform it. Our entrance song, first-dance, mother-son, and father-daughter songs were all performed live and I wish we had a videographer for the sole reason of being able to hear the band again. The few songs we did request were all sung at the most perfect time. As for my favorite song, Liz knew just when to sing it! "Best band I have ever heard at a wedding!" was just one of the many phrases that has been floating around since our May wedding. Thank you Daddy Pop for truly making our wedding a dream come true! I'm definitely going to be making some trips down the Shore to see them perform again.

be beaten! We went with booking the entire 11 members and it was well worth every penny. Liz was most helpful in participating in a few conference calls in advance to help us plan the flow in a way that would work best for us, as well as helped to advise us on song choices for the special moments throughout the night. Even though it was a Sunday night, Daddy Pop's energy and enthusiasm matched any weekend show of theirs. We have been receiving many, many rave reviews from our guests, many of whom would like to book them for their own events. We couldn't have been more pleased!
