From initially working on the menu, to making constant tweaks to it, they made everything before our wedding weekend very easy. Once the weekend hit, they did everything they said they would and more. We obviously had a lot of other things going on so it was nice to never have to worry about the food. They showed up when they said they would with everything they needed. Then, most importantly, the food was amazing! We had a BBQ buffet, a taco buffet, and then several other buffet options for the wedding reception. Everything was delicious and all of our guests said the same thing. We also had them provide bartenders for the wedding reception and the bartenders were a huge hit! The drinks were great and there was never a line at the bar. If you've read this far, I will say again, hire them and don't look back!

s why I didn’t give a full 5 stars would be because of the day of our events with them. Our rehearsal dinner food was very dry, many people told us this. We picked the buffet style service. With the red fish and chicken. The food on wedding night was spectacular though. We did the station services that evening. Although, they said we would have a ton of leftovers the night of the wedding and we received no leftovers of anything. The beer and wine were cool because they were kept in an ice chest. The liquor however, at our bar services was really warm. Like when people ordered a shot, it was nasty. There was some miscommunication with the bar services on our rehearsal evening and our wedding day which added a lot of stress to me as the bride. As well as I had drink stirrers made for our signature drinks, and they weren’t passed out by the bartender. I found them sitting on the bar the next morning. Guests were using their fingers the night of our wedding to stir their drinks, so that was an added avoidable stress. Overall, i would recommend this vendor, just make sure the day before your events you have communicated everything you want done with them so no miscommunications happen the day of.

ood we chose (initially) were excellent! The guests at our daughter's wedding were raving about the food, the drinks, and the service and we will say that DCFG's staff of servers, waiters, waitresses, and bartenders were wonderful, friendly, and courteous. We received nothing but praise from our guests! This being said, we did experience troublesome issues with the quality of service and value for the money… Quality of service: Earlier in the afternoon Chef Cass informed me that the DCFG lead in charge that day was C******, someone with whom we had never worked. However, before our event, we were told by DCFG owner Brian and assistant Kenny that another DCFG member would be the lead for our event. Imagine our surprise when this turned out to be incorrect. It was not until after our event, via email, that I learned from Brian that two other leads were in fact in charge that afternoon/evening. Now, for us, this was a glaring oversight. Therefore, when we encountered an issue whereby our guests were being served dinner in the dark, (and our wedding planner, EY Events, being totally ineffective by this time!) it turns out we were looking for, and complaining about this issue to the wrong DCFG lead person and thus the situation was not rectified to our satisfaction. We passionately believe that had initial communication between the DCFG team leads and ourselves initialized, issues and communication between ourselves, the wedding planner, and DCFG leads would have been much smoother, leading to a 'less stressful' evening for all concerned. Value for the money: Late-night bites were contracted to be served to all our guests before the end of the evening, however, only the guests inside the dance area, nearest the kitchen, were served. Those guests sitting outside at the dining/bar area (me included) were never served. Equally disappointing was the premature disappearance that evening of the late-night Café Cart we contracted specifically for use by any 'tipsy' guests at the close of the event late that evening. Our guests were looking forward to a late-night colada or espresso before hitting the road! Scheduled and contracted as operational for 2 hours that evening, 9:45 P.M. - 11:45 P.M., DCFG staff had already removed the cart by 11:30 P.M. and packed it away. Therefore, the Café Carts' primary reason for being at the event that evening was nullified. Overall, our experience with DCFG was quite positive throughout the many months of prep time, and the fact that professionalism was the 'catch-phrase' always, the food was terrific and the value for all the food and staff services contracted for was particularly good. That said, we believe the lack of proper communication between DCFG management and ourselves, specifically where it concerns those in charge the day of the event, plus their inability to adhere to some of the specifics outlined in the contract as far food service times, areas of food service and adherence to detailed seating charts/floor plans has left a somewhat bitter taste in the mouth… so to speak.

re to answer questions big and small, are willing to work with your budget and even recommend ways to save money, and are just cool people with awesome attitudes to deliver value. It felt like they were "on our side" and not to mention the food was AMAZING. I lost count of how many guests came up to us at the wedding telling us how good the food was, and even weeks after the wedding were still talking about the food!! Hands down, would book them again. So glad we could work with them for our wedding!

they far exceeded our expectations. The passed appetizers were a huge hit with our guests and they just couldn't believe how wonderful they were. They made sure the wedding party was completely taken care of and not missing out on the appetizers while we were finishing our photos. We opted for a Wagyu beef carving station which absolutely melted in your mouth! The absolute best wedding food we have ever had. The staff really interacted with our guests which we loved and our guests just raved about how wonderful they all were. Great price, amazing food, and the most wonderful staff you could ask for! My 9 year old even asked if we could take Chef Cass home with us, haha!

The best part was meeting the team, who were all super fun to work with. You can tell how much they truly care and put in the effort so that their clients can have the best possible experience for their big day. The entire staff was extremely kind, professional and accommodating! Everything on our wedding day went smoothly, and we definitely appreciate the team circling back to my husband and I to make sure we got enough apps to eat at the cocktail hour. The entrees were delicious, and the drinks were even better. DCFG is definitely worth the consideration for any event and is an amazing value for the services they offer.

He even threw some extra top shelf liquor bottles onto our bar, which was so extremely generous and amazing. Guests went on and on about how great the bartenders were, too! Brian has a really laid back energy too - very cool and approachable. Working with this company is not like working with some of the other stuffy wedding caterers. DCFG is a good time!!

Their payment terms were way beyond reasonable, and we never once felt that it was about money for them. The day of the event they were ready to rock! Chelsea was our assigned manager, and she orchestrated a challenging event, which was interrupted by rain at a crucial juncture, with relative ease. The appetizers and plated dinner dishes were superb. The bar ran smoothly all night, despite the logistical issues posed by the rain, and having to shuffle staff, liquor, and accessories to a second bar location. The late night bites were outstanding!! We had several guests approach us (the bride's parents) throughout the night telling us that the food was delicious! We would not hesitate to recommend DCFG or use them again. They absolutely crushed it!

Our tasting food was Bomb and we were hoping our wedding nights food would be similar but it was EVEN better and they executed for 175 guests perfectly. Brian and his team were super flexible and calming and up for doing whatever type of food we wanted and went above and beyond from shipping in special peppers from Chicago. My whole family is big foodies and everyone is still telling us how awesome our food was. We also had a TON of food for the cost. His pricing is great for amazing quality food and top notch meats. Additionally, his Bar packages are unbeat. We had a killer open bar and Brian and his staff went all over town to make sure our dogs Margareta bar was stocked with many flavors and a ton of signature drinks. Their staff/service was awesome and they handled the rush of cocktails hours and stations flawlessly keeping the bar line short and food going throughout the night. They really worked their buts off even helping move furniture and chairs and going above and beyond. Our guests and us were blown away and we are so thankful to Brian and his team for making my difficult wedding requests come true

Additionally, Brian's staff also helped setup and stage the reception tables and ceremony and he made it so easy to add on anything we needed.
