nitial chat to the day of - absolutely incredible! Bart and Cecylia are so easy and great to work with (Bart is hilarious) and it felt more like a friendship than just a vendor. I knew our florals would be amazing, as shown as visual proof on their socials and all the tagged posts i see but when i saw our florals on the day of.. i was speechless and in AWE, the team went above and beyond and everything was past my expectations.. which i didn’t know was possible. We got the most compliments on our florals (there were a lot), even my 85 grandpa who couldn’t care less about this stuff said the flowers were so nice. I had friends telling me their friends saw my wedding and that the florals were beautiful and i must agree 😌 Bart, Cecylia, the whole team are all so talented, i highly highly recommend and it was worth every penny!

I could show you all 52 of emails I sent back and forth with Bart. He was always patient with my millions of questions and changes. Fast forward, on my wedding day, Bart and team arrived extremely early to set up, and let me tell you, THEY DELIVERED! When we entered into the hall, our jaw dropped. Seeing my dream design on picture is totally different from standing among the sea of roses. My wedding was the talk of the town, and my family and friends were in awe of the flower design. Some even said it was the craziest flower arrangements they have ever seen at a wedding. To Bart and the team - thank you, thank you, thank you! Wish many more success!!!

ption at The Estate at Florentine Gardens and used their recommended florist Dahlia Floral & Event Design. We spent thousands of dollars on our floral arrangements. Aside from flowers being absent from our reception welcome sign and some questionable quality in other contracted items, the main focus of my review is on two floral focal points that did not meet the specifications outlined in the contract: our sweetheart table and the staircase. We were contracted for 2 types of flowers and 1 type of greenery for these arrangements. Unfortunately, we received a small amount of one of the flowers and an excessive quantity of a silk flower that wasn’t included in our contract. We made payments for fresh flowers exclusively. Also, our contract clearly stipulates the requirement to use the same flowers as those in the centerpieces. In our last in-person working session before the wedding, the owner, Bart, had added "(be creative)" to the contract. Foreseeing potential interpretations, I directly inquired with Bart for clarification. He explained that this creativity would pertain to the overall shape of the design, differentiating between conservative and organic styles. Given that we had already chosen an organic shape for our centerpieces, we were comfortable with the notion of "creative". Anticipating a magical reveal on the wedding day, we were instead faced with sadness and the realization that we needed to address discrepancies with Bart regarding what was outlined in our contract versus what we actually received. Rather than taking responsibility for his errors, he attempted to justify his actions by claiming he had provided more than requested. Then, he attempted to diminish our dissatisfaction by emphasizing positive feedback from our guests, as they are unaware of our preferences. His argumentative demeanor during our conversation was so shocking that even my hair stylist, who witnessed the exchange, was appalled that a vendor would ever speak to bride like that on her wedding day no less. I had made significant sacrifices when it came to my personal time to ensure the seamless coordination of all the design elements for our wedding, and Bart's disregard for the contract and his decision to act according to his own wishes ultimately undermined not only the premium price paid but also those sacrifices. Although there are positive reviews of Dahlia Floral & Event Design, my experience highlights the importance of clear communication, sticking to contractual agreements, and taking responsibility for mistakes in business transactions. It also highlights the impact of vendor behavior on important events like weddings and the need for professionalism and respect in such situations.
