From years of designing and creating dramatic, elevated floral decor for high-end fashion clients and celebrities, we have a sharp eye for detail and an incredible ability to implement creativity and passion into every floral decor that we create. During your consultation, we’ll take-in your ideas, using examples and options that will bring your vision to life within your allotted budget. We’re hands on throughout the entire process, right down to safely hand-delivering every item to your event space. We’re a family-run business, and we handle each event with honesty, professionalism, and kindness, because we truly care — and we’d be so honored to be a part of your special day.

utely stunning. I started with a budget and they worked with me without making me feel as if I needed more. The final week before our date, we went to their gorgeous showroom to discuss the florals. The budget quickly went out the window when we saw the many options we had. My mom fell in love with everything. I was worried we were going overboard BUT we asked Bart’s opinion on things and he NEVER pushed anything on us. I left feeling like maybe I shouldn’t have added more BUT let me tell you. The day of the wedding was breathtaking!!!!!!! We had a 55 degrees day in December and BART suggested we move the ceremony outside day of!! I was nervous but he told me it was going to be GORGEOUS. Boy was he correct!!! We don’t have enough words to describe how amazing everything looked. Our guests are still raving about the flowers inside and outside of the venue! I truly feel like this made our day. I will add some pics just so others can get an idea. Dahlia is made up of true artists. Bart is a doll and so is everyone that works there. Thank you sooooo much! Bart and Cecylia are the best at what they do and you can truly see that they have a passion for it, which is why I think they’re designs are so absolutely breathtaking. I felt a little bit bad during the wedding planning journey because I always imagined having that heightened emotional moment where I cried when saying yes to my wedding dress, and that never happened. Dahlia florals made me feel that emotion when I walked into the ballroom for the first time after their set up was completed. I immediately was overcome with emotion and started crying. The last few weeks before our wedding I was extremely stressed and anxious. Seeing the flowers made me feel it was all worth it and I was overcome with extreme emotion. My bouquet was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. We got married on October 28th and our guests are still raving about how beautiful the floral arrangements were and telling us they have never seen anything like it. Our guests were so excited to take home the flowers from the centerpieces. Several of them sent us photos of how they displayed the flowers they took from the wedding in their homes. Dahlia truly gave me my dream wedding and more. I hope they know how much they truly touched our day and our lives.

r our initial consult, we did not have that concrete of an idea what we wanted for florals but Bart really led us through all the options. My favorite part about Bart is that he does not try to pressure, or upsell, or be sales-y. He is truly honest, methodical, creative and helpful - and very fair about pricing. Cecylia was great about keeping us on track with payments and scheduling our appointments - I was never nervous to call to reschedule/always knew I would get a response ASAP from her. They are truly masters of their craft. When I decided I wanted to change my vision and do all white/have the estate tables be elevated florals, Bart was excited and patient! And I'm so glad I did because our florals were one of the main highlights of our days. Bart went ABOVE AND BEYOND - the displays were HUGE and MORE ELABORATE than I ever could've imagined. His professionalism and his knowledge on all the different flowers, down the the different colors it was a no brainer that he knew his stuff. Every detail down to the extra sparkle in the bouquets, quickly adding more rose petals to the aisle right before the bride arrived to make sure the photos would be perfect, and the last minute flowers added to our wedding cake to add some extra pop highlights just how truly passionate the Dahlia team is about their work and how much they care about making every wedding they come to a true work of art.
We showed Bart pictures of our venue and images of our vision of what we had in mind and no matter the request his response was “That’s not a problem we will make it beautiful”. They not only met but exceeded all of our expectations. Adding curtains to our ceremony gazebo and venue hall to add extra flair, providing us with their own sweetheart table and chairs you would expect to see for a King and Queen made our wedding day even more special than it already was. They completely transformed our venue to the point that we made sure capturing our initial reaction to seeing the final product was on our photographers and videographer’s timeline. We knew that the work they provided us was so perfect that it should be immortalized in our album so that when we re-watch our video and look through all our photos we will always be reminded of how spectacular of a job they did! I remember feeling like he could read my mind. After countless failed attempts to try to explain my vision to other florists, FINALLY someone was speaking my language. This has been a tough year for ALL, but throughout our year of planning, Bart and Cecylia never once broke their confidence in giving me my dream. My flowers were not only exactly what I wanted, but surpassed any expectation I could have ever dreamed of.
My arrangements were BEYOND heavenly. When we walked into our ballroom for the first time, my husband, a very stoic guy and not one to show emotion often, BROKE DOWN in tears. We were both extremely emotional that we could be so lucky to walk into such a beautiful room, celebrating a beautiful day.
All that being said. This team works HARD. This review has nothing to do with their quality of work, but their customer service and inflexibility while trying to plan a wedding during a covid pandemic.

e had to be canceled because of covid. When trying to come up with alternate arrangements, we asked if we could cut down on the price (originally planned to spend $5000) after we had thought about doing a small outdoor ceremony with just close family. We explained that we had several immuno compromised family members and did not want to put their health at risk. We also explained that money was a problem since both of my finance's parents had recently been laid off.
The response from the owner Bart was to say that they are not a mom and pop shop and will not do anything below a $3000 minimum, which would be ridiculous for a small, 20 person backyard wedding. He repeatedly stated this minimum amount was laid out in the contract (it wasn't) and refused to do any sort of outdoor ceremony, citing the safety and health of his workers. In response, I called out the hipocrisy of insisting we move forward with our original 150 person indoor ceremony, which was clearly unsafe to any sane person, while then also stating that he did not want his workers setting up flowers in the cold because of his own safety concerns.
Our dj, venue, and photographer were all willing to work with us, and we wound up using them for our small outdoor ceremony. Dahlias is the only vendor that was not willing to understand the once and a life time circumstances involved with trying to plan a wedding during a deadly pandemic.
Bottom line, they might do good work (we will unfortunately never know), but considering that covid may be here to stay for a while, use this as a warning that if you have to cancel or reschedule, they will not work with you if your plans have to be changed by no fault of your own. You will lose any money you put down and they will not care.
We found another florist who was more than willing to work around these extraordinary circumstances. I suggest you do the same.

ed a deposit on 04.09.19 for December 5th, 2020 wedding. Your fiancé inquired about a refund on 11.07.19 which was prior the pandemic. The contract states that the deposit is non-refundable yet I still offered to return the deposit if someone re-booked your original date. Your fiancé confirmed via email that she understands it’s not refundable. I’m sure you signed contracts with other vendors and they are not willing to return deposits which is standard not only in this industry and couples are fully aware of it. Since 2017 we have a minimum which is almost half of what your original contract was and your fiancé was fully aware of it just like few thousand couples that came in since we implemented the minimum otherwise we would not even schedule her appointment but somehow you are the only couple that was not informed and not aware of our minimum. Then you postponed your wedding to 03.05.21 and we said no problem at all, we gave you zero hard time but once again, you tried to get out of the contract and gave us hard time about just using your $1,000 deposit for the original wedding date of 12.05.20 asking for items that would not even fit in that amount even if we ignored the minimum. We specifically followed the weather that day, it was freezing with high winds where it would be impossible for flowers to stay alive in cold temperature and for designers from ANY floral company to work outdoors, not only us and I’m pretty sure that 99.9% of couples would understand this. Since the original wedding date was postponed to March 5th, 2021, I reached out to find out if the wedding is still on schedule and if yes, we have to schedule your final appointment since we have to order flowers. After that email, I was told that I have the audacity to insist you should keep the March 5th date which is not true, you misread my basic email that we send to every couple as we don’t have a crystal ball at Dahlia to read everyone’s mind to know if the wedding is happening or not if you don’t reach out to us first to let us know what is going on which you didn’t yet we find out from the venue that you already postponed your wedding to December 11th, 2021. With that said, it is clear to us that you chose not to inform us nor retain our services by choice for the new wedding date. Based on your response, the ceremony on Dec 5th 2020 did not take place as it was postponed to yesterday, Jan 30, 2021, outdoor in a 24 degree weather with real feel of 12 degrees. Your bring up Covid multiple times in your review and call me a hypocrite yet you would be okay with any florist or wedding vendor to work outside in frigid temperatures and risk to get sick as long as it’s not you or your family then it’s okay for our crew to possibly get sick. Even if you did had the outdoor ceremony yesterday, based on your email, your DJ and photographer agreed to show up, I assume you will have no vendors on the new wedding date on 12.11.21 since you used up their deposits. I don’t downplay the pandemic by any means but I feel like you are using it as a shield for all you excuses to make it seem like I am the bad guy here where you as an adult should understand what “non-refundable” means which clearly your fiancé understood AND we gave you options AND we were willing to be your florist on your new wedding date 12.11.21. At the end, you were the one threatening us that you will take Dahlia to court and blemish our name unless we do what you want ignoring the contract and any rules that we have for ALL couples but you expect special treatment yet other couples have to follow what’s in the contract, but not you. With that said, please get your facts straight before you write your review as we are not Amazon where you can buy and return items whenever you feel like it as an adult, I would assume as an adult, you would understand this. We did not want this pandemic nor created it yet the whole wedding industry is being blamed for it. If we or any other vendor stopped ignoring the contract and returned deposits to any couple that wants their money back, we would all be bankrupt but there is no considerations from people like you on what is happening on our end. With that said, please reach out to our Governor Murphy and blame him for keeping the whole wedding industry closed for months without any help for small businesses. Some vendors are afraid of bad reviews and I would own it if we didn’t try to work with you or did something wrong but I don’t mind calling someone out if the review is based on lies as facts don’t care about your feelings.

I never seen such big beautiful roses before. All of my flowers are still in perfect shape two days later. Bart took my vision and made it come to life in a perfect way! It seems like there is a misunderstanding on your part, Dahlia is willing to work with you for your new date with fully applying your deposit toward that date. With that said, Dahlia is not refusing to perform services as you state in the review, you are refusing to understand how we work and ignore the contract you signed where you are in the breach of contract, not us. I looked over your contract and your name is Grace not Mancy, your contract has 160 guests not 300 so the information in the review is misleading. To top it off, we received an email from you with threats and at the end no one refused anything, you based your review on false information. Even though your review is dishonest and untruthful, we will still honor your deposit as per contract and be your florist once you have a new wedding date.

off right off the bat. Bart was so attentive and took time to listen to the things I wanted. He also had a whole slide show of examples for my suggestions.
He also gave me his opinion and advice and I really appreciated his insight. He made me a proposal with a quote and explained to me the time line of deposits and meetings. He made sure I left knowing EXACTLY what would happen. Cecylia kept in contact with me and answered all 10,000 of my emails and micromanaging questions.
I appreciate both of them because out of all my vendors, I had the most faith that they would deliver.
I knew they would, but I have to say, they TOOK MY BREATH AWAY on my wedding day. EVERY SINGLE FLOWER AND LEAF was absolutely dreamy. When you’re planning a wedding you write a bunch of checks but the day of my wedding I saw exactly where each cent went. Dahlia made sure every last detail they set up was beautiful and I really could not thank them enough!!

The candelabra's are something I would suggest to anyone... at night they made the wedding venue twinkle romantically and look spectacular. Same with the beautiful estate table florals. a. A few months later, we met with Bart again to see our sample centerpiece. I don't know if other florists do this, but it was really great to see our centerpiece ahead of time because we were able to make changes. When I first saw the centerpiece, Bart could tell I was hesitant about it - there was something missing. Bart went to back, quickly grabbed some greenery and suddenly our centerpiece turned into the centerpiece we had envisioned!! To be fair, Bart had suggested greenery in the first place, so the lesson here is LISTEN TO BART! On top of this, I emailed Bart just 3 days before the wedding and asked for an aisle runner which he was able to get despite asking so last minute! Aside from my bouquet looking absolutely beautiful and perfect, as well as the bridesmaids bouquet's, Dahlia also worked with my husband (in secret) to make a surprise delivery of 101 huge, red roses the day of my wedding! He shows his screen on his laptop and the prices are pretty much set on things (unless you obviously want something out of season, more extravagant etc) so right off the bat you know what you’re getting into and spending. He didn’t push us to spend more and gave us great advice during the whole process. The wedding was 11/17/18. The flowers were delivered perfectly on time. I was so impressed just seeing the bouquets. They looked even more beautiful in person than how I showed Bart I wanted them from the inspiration pictures I had collected. Although they showed me a sample of my centerpiece prior to the wedding, seeing the centerpieces in the hall the day of the wedding and how beautiful they looked in the room made me emotional.
