The best florist in the game!!! They did our wedding on Sept 14 at Florentine Gardens and it was better than I could imagine. It was truly a dream. Bart and Cecilia thank you so much for everything. I would give them a million stars if I could.

If I could give them more than five stars I would! Dahlia Florals was an absolute dream to work with and they made our wedding at Park Chateau so incredibly special. Bart was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process and worked with us to show us many different options, designs, and more. He was honest and transparent during the entire process about budgeting, what would look good, what we needed and didn't need. He dealt with us as we made last minute changes and additions and then executed it all incredibly with his team! I can't say enough good things about Dahlia, Bart, Cecilia, and their entire team. For all the perfectionists brides who want nothing but the best for your wedding, Dahlia is THE ONE. When I was vendor shopping I reached out to various of florist, some even claim themselves to be “editorial”. However, none of the vendors communicated like Bart. He was always timely, clear, straightforward, and patient in explaining the details of the design. I could show you all 52 of emails I sent back and forth with Bart. He was always patient with my millions of questions and changes. Fast forward, on my wedding day, Bart and team arrived extremely early to set up, and let me tell you, THEY DELIVERED! When we entered into the hall, our jaw dropped. Seeing my dream design on picture is totally different from standing among the sea of roses. My wedding was the talk of the town, and my family and friends were in awe of the flower design. Some even said it was the craziest flower arrangements they have ever seen at a wedding. We had the best experience with Dahlia Florals! From the second we reached out to inquire for our wedding Bart and Cecilia were so responsive and helpful! They were honest and worked within our budget to make my vision come to life! Our flowers were stunning-I can’t get over the staircase and estate tables. 10/10 for service and execution!! I've had both positive and negative interactions with businesses and I understand one negative experience doesn't define a business. Recently, my husband and I had our wedding reception at The Estate at Florentine Gardens and used their recommended florist Dahlia Floral & Event Design. We spent thousands of dollars on our floral arrangements. Aside from flowers being absent from our reception welcome sign and some questionable quality in other contracted items, the main focus of my review is on two floral focal points that did not meet the specifications outlined in the contract: our sweetheart table and the staircase. We were contracted for 2 types of flowers and 1 type of greenery for these arrangements. Unfortunately, we received a small amount of one of the flowers and an excessive quantity of a silk flower that wasn’t included in our contract. We made payments for fresh flowers exclusively. Also, our contract clearly stipulates the requirement to use the same flowers as those in the centerpieces. In our last in-person working session before the wedding, the owner, Bart, had added "(be creative)" to the contract. Foreseeing potential interpretations, I directly inquired with Bart for clarification. He explained that this creativity would pertain to the overall shape of the design, differentiating between conservative and organic styles. Given that we had already chosen an organic shape for our centerpieces, we were comfortable with the notion of "creative". Anticipating a magical reveal on the wedding day, we were instead faced with sadness and the realization that we needed to address discrepancies with Bart regarding what was outlined in our contract versus what we actually received. Rather than taking responsibility for his errors, he attempted to justify his actions by claiming he had provided more than requested. Then, he attempted to diminish our dissatisfaction by emphasizing positive feedback from our guests, as they are unaware of our preferences. His argumentative demeanor during our conversation was so shocking that even my hair stylist, who witnessed the exchange, was appalled that a vendor would ever speak to bride like that on her wedding day no less. I had made significant sacrifices when it came to my personal time to ensure the seamless coordination of all the design elements for our wedding, and Bart's disregard for the contract and his decision to act according to his own wishes ultimately undermined not only the premium price paid but also those sacrifices. Although there are positive reviews of Dahlia Floral & Event Design, my experience highlights the importance of clear communication, sticking to contractual agreements, and taking responsibility for mistakes in business transactions. It also highlights the impact of vendor behavior on important events like weddings and the need for professionalism and respect in such situations.

Dahlia Florist….. what can I say!!!! OUTSTANDING, PROFESSIONAL, and made our kid’s wedding day the most magical! I cannot say enough about them. They were the most accommodating, very easy to work with. Our kids had a vision and they went above and beyond what they even stated. They are top in all and everything they created for their day. We knew from the beginning that we were going to get something amazing when we booked Bart and his team for our wedding and wanted to give them the creative freedom to do what they do best. They gave us the ceremony, centerpieces, and all the other details of our dreams with little direction, and nothing was overlooked. Guests were blown away and even commented on the quality of the flowers and size of the roses. A well deserved shoutout to him and his team for being flexible with last minute ceremony location changes, and working through one of the hottest days of the year. Bart and his team at Dahlia floral and event design were professional from the first time we met. From the initial meeting, they were helpful and understanding of the vision that I had. Not only that, they were so nice and truly cared about making my wedding day amazing. When it came time to see a sample center piece, I was blown away at the caliber of it. It was something out of a fairytale. At my venue, we covered the staircase with flowers. I told Bart that I wanted to staircase to not look "'flat" and fill it with a bunch of flowers. Well, the staircase his team made was BEYOND AMAZING. People at my wedding and workers at the venue could not believe how amazing the flowers were. My bouquet was also spectacular. I truly could not be more thankful for Bart and his entire team for making my wedding day magical.

Bart and his team did my wedding at the Crystal Plaza on 9/22/23 and I can’t say enough about how beautiful the flowers were. My bouquet was gorgeous and the memorial charm I had for my dad was placed beautifully! They decorated the stair case as well and I got so many compliments from guests and Crystal Plaza staff about how spectacular it looked and how great of a job they did! My sweetheart table and centerpieces were beautiful as well, he really made my wedding inspo come to life! Bart and his team were so kind, quickly responded to any emails and were very attentive throughout the process, an absolute pleasure to work with!

Bart and his team are truly one of a kind. From the start, communications with the team were very easy and we made sure that both sides were on the same page. In case I ever needed anything, the team was very quick to respond and answer any questions or requests. From the table centerpieces to the sweetheart table and bouquets, Bart blew us away on our wedding day. Bart is a true master of his craft. Everyone at my wedding was blown away by all of the arrangements and I received so many compliments on my bridal bouquet (even the Park Chateau staff was obsessed). My wedding was this past weekend and I cannot say enough great things about Dahlia Florals. Bart and Cecylia exceeded ALL expectations and created the most breathtaking arrangements. The staircase filled with flowers, entrance table arrangement, the bouquets, the centerpieces, and sweetheart table/flowers, each one better than the next. They were excellent with communication and so accommodating whenever I had questions or needed to make changes. I had to plan my wedding from out of state, which was stressful. Bart was quick to respond to my many questions, and he even helped me figure out what I wanted half of the time. He had a great relationship with the venue, and because he had done so many weddings there before, he helped me make decisions on what I actually needed vs what might be a waste of an expense, which was refreshing. His team was punctual, professional, and everything was set up beautifully.

Where do I even begin? Our wedding was 12/30/22 at the Florentine Gardens in NJ. My mom’s initial reaction to a December wedding was mehhhh, but Dahlia was the first vendor we booked. I started to follow them on IG and their work was just absolutely stunning. I started with a budget and they worked with me without making me feel as if I needed more. The final week before our date, we went to their gorgeous showroom to discuss the florals. The budget quickly went out the window when we saw the many options we had. My mom fell in love with everything. I was worried we were going overboard BUT we asked Bart’s opinion on things and he NEVER pushed anything on us. I left feeling like maybe I shouldn’t have added more BUT let me tell you. The day of the wedding was breathtaking!!!!!!! We had a 55 degrees day in December and BART suggested we move the ceremony outside day of!! I was nervous but he told me it was going to be GORGEOUS. Boy was he correct!!! We don’t have enough words to describe how amazing everything looked. Our guests are still raving about the flowers inside and outside of the venue! I truly feel like this made our day. I will add some pics just so others can get an idea. Dahlia is made up of true artists. Bart is a doll and so is everyone that works there. Thank you sooooo much! I highly recommend them!!!!!!!!

I cannot even put into enough words how special Bart and Cecylia and their team made our wedding day. They are truly professional and pleasant to work with. Bart listened to our ideas and provided his own thoughts and feedback. We trusted his ideas and I am so glad that we did. I felt a little bit bad during the wedding planning journey because I always imagined having that heightened emotional moment where I cried when saying yes to my wedding dress, and that never happened. Dahlia florals made me feel that emotion when I walked into the ballroom for the first time after their set up was completed. I immediately was overcome with emotion and started crying. The last few weeks before our wedding I was extremely stressed and anxious. Seeing the flowers made me feel it was all worth it and I was overcome with extreme emotion. My bouquet was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. We got married on October 28th and our guests are still raving about how beautiful the floral arrangements were and telling us they have never seen anything like it. Our guests were so excited to take home the flowers from the centerpieces. Several of them sent us photos of how they displayed the flowers they took from the wedding in their homes. Our wedding was in July 2022 at the Shadowbrook in NJ . Dahlia's did an OUTSTANDING job with our floral decor. The attention to detail was just amazing. It's been a week since my wedding and my friends/family are still raving about how amazing the florals came out for my wedding by Dahlia. From the beginning, Bart and Cecylia were so helpful, professional, kind and guiding. When we first met for our initial consult, we did not have that concrete of an idea what we wanted for florals but Bart really led us through all the options. My favorite part about Bart is that he does not try to pressure, or upsell, or be sales-y. He is truly honest, methodical, creative and helpful - and very fair about pricing. Cecylia was great about keeping us on track with payments and scheduling our appointments - I was never nervous to call to reschedule/always knew I would get a response ASAP from her. They are truly masters of their craft. When I decided I wanted to change my vision and do all white/have the estate tables be elevated florals, Bart was excited and patient! And I'm so glad I did because our florals were one of the main highlights of our days. Bart went ABOVE AND BEYOND - the displays were HUGE and MORE ELABORATE than I ever could've imagined. Even my husband couldn't stop raving about how truly amazing everything looked. The team was professional, timely and SO CREATIVE!!! I couldn't have imagined booking a different vendor for florals. Where do I begin - from the moment I began planning my vision with Bart and Cecylia they were so helpful, and fully understood what I wanted for my vision. The second we booked The Venetian catering hall and saw they highly recommend Dahlia Florist, I didn’t have to think twice about meeting with them. I followed their work for so long on Instagram and it truly looks like a dream. From our very first meeting with Bart, we knew we didn’t have to look or speak to another florist. The flower design surpassed all expectations I ever had--they are literal artists. The whole process of working with Bart and his team in the months leading up to the wedding were amazing as well--they are beyond supportive and helpful. Dahlia was such an absolute pleasure to work with! Bart saw my vision from the first meeting and made my dream wedding come to life. He also worked with our budget but still making everything look extravagant. Even when having to postpone our wedding in 2020, Dahlia was understanding and we were able to easily secure our new postponed date 9/3/2021. A week before the wedding, I wanted to add a few floral pieces to the wedding sign and although it was last minute Cecylia responded quickly and we were able to add a floral arrangement. All our guests still call the wedding a fairytale! I recommend Dahlia for all your floral needs!

We had a difficult time trying to find a florist for our wedding for September 18, 2021, but once we found Dahlia, it was literally the glass slipper for our ceremony! Bart was such an awesome guy to talk to and easy to get along with, he was always fully transparent when it came to anything we asked, no sugarcoating. When it came to figuring out the flowers, he was so helpful in bringing us to a decision between two ideas we had and honestly, the final product of how our venue looked was just simply breathtaking. The flowers were simply gorgeous, not just at the tables and in the main ballroom, but even at our church ceremony and in the receiving room where our guest book was and everything. The flowers that he helped us pick for our bridal party—super beautiful. The flowers looked so full and just added that extra accent piece to elevate our wedding party. Never regretted picking Dahlia, and I would recommend them again for future events!

We showed Bart pictures of our venue and images of our vision of what we had in mind and no matter the request his response was “That’s not a problem we will make it beautiful”. They not only met but exceeded all of our expectations. Adding curtains to our ceremony gazebo and venue hall to add extra flair, providing us with their own sweetheart table and chairs you would expect to see for a King and Queen made our wedding day even more special than it already was. They completely transformed our venue to the point that we made sure capturing our initial reaction to seeing the final product was on our photographers and videographer’s timeline. We knew that the work they provided us was so perfect that it should be immortalized in our album so that when we re-watch our video and look through all our photos we will always be reminded of how spectacular of a job they did! Wow, I really don't even know where to start! EVERYTHING WAS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING AND PERFECTION!!!! Bart and Cecylia beyond exceeded our expectations!!! From the first time we met (almost 2 years ago) my husband and I instantly knew that they were the perfect fit for our wedding! Our wedding got delayed and moved around due to the pandemic and Bart and Cecylia stayed by our side accommodating our new dates, venue, designs, everything and made us feel so confident during the whole process. Bart and Cecilya made our wedding dreams come true! When we were first planning our wedding, I thought that flowers wouldn’t be a priority as other items but I ended up getting so into designing the flowers with them for our wedding after I saw what they are capable of on Instagram. dahlia made our vision absolutely come true! The centerpieces and bouquets were absolutely stunning. I’m so glad that we decided to add extra high centerpieces behind our sweetheart table and that we went for an extra centerpiece with a lot of greenery and hanging roses at the entrance. We were obsessed with that piece. All of the florals were bigger better and more stunning in person than we dreamed! The flowers really elevated our event and made everything more stunning. Our guests raved about our centerpieces and I love that Bart experimented with doing something more modern for the day of. I still think my favorite was the sweetheart table arrangement, it took my breath away. They also accommodated four different drop off points on the day of and everything was flawless!
