With the exception of the bar closing too early and the lack of free breakfast, this place was great. The price and location worked for us. And the rooms were very nice.
I thought that for the price we paid for the wedding reception (around $7500 for 100 people) we got an excellent deal! That price includes the use of their ballroom, a 3 course sea...
ted meal (salad & rolls, entrée of our choice, dessert with tea, coffee and water) with your choice of linens (but no floral centerpiece included, we got ours from our florist), the bride's cake (beautiful!), champagne for toasts, a bridal suite for bride and groom the night of the wedding (more champagne and strawberries), and an AWESOME wedding coordinator. We were assigned Tara Dooling, who is fabulous at her job - we loved her! Also, the service is friendly and genuine. We had a lot of out of town guests, and Marriott offers a VERY much reduced rate ($85 a night) to those who stayed there. We highly recommend the DFW Marriott to any brides who want to be budget conscious but still have a beautiful wedding!
