Dallas String Quartet

I have mixed feelings here. The DSQ played strings at our ceremony and then electric for our small reception. Their music was of course amazing. However, the previous associations were not very professional and they didn't exactly follow our song choice. Their repertoire was not very big (not a lot of songs to choose from) considering they are the Dallas String Quartet. For the amount of money we paid to have them I think we could have done better, or maybe should have just used them as our ceremony music.

The Dallas String Quartet performed for our ceremony and reception, and they did a phenomenal job! They were able to mix up the styles of music between the ceremony and reception, which kept the mood light and the guests entertained. This aspect of the wedding got the most comments from the guests. DSQ plays contemporary music, and guests loved dancing to the songs! It was upbeat and different!

The Dallas String Quartet is unlike any other quartet out there. We knew we were going to have to have them play at our wedding after doing some search for a quartet in the Dallas area. We decided to do the electric option for our big day. After seeing them play at the house of blues we almost decided to cancel our band and have them play the whole thing since they are THAT good. You name it, they can play it. All of our guest loved the quartet and were wowed by the variety of music and high tech instruments.

We had a brunch wedding and reception, and the Dallas String Quartet played formal music during the ceremony, and loosened up with their electrics during the reception, and they were the hit of the wedding! They were the perfect entertainment for our wedding, and they were ALL EVERYONE talked about! We received countless compliments on the musicians - they were unique, and not something every other wedding is using! We loved, them, and still get requests for their contact information! Use them, they rock!!!

If you want the perfect music for your wedding ceremony, this is the quartet. We narrowed down our search to just two different quartets and listened to their sample songs online. The Dallas String Quartet blew the other guys out of the water. They helped us choose the music beforehand for each part of the service. Every song they played was beautiful. They helped make our wedding ceremony absolutely perfect.

The Dallas String Quartet played at my Wedding Ceremony, and it was just perfect! I absolutely loved the songs they played as the entire bridal party entered, and I will never forget hearing Viva la Vida playing from behind the double wodden doors before I walked down the aisle. They played an integral part to making me dream wedding come true, and I recommen them highly to anyone and everyone. They are professional, but all have outstanding personalities. They are VERY talented and VERY creative with their musical arrangements. Give them a call, and I promise, you won't be disappointed. They rock!!! :)

I could not have asked for a better accompaniment for our ceremony! Ion and his group of talented artists are genuinely fantastic. From the first note as the first guest entered the room to the last note played as the groom and I made our exit, my heart was overjoyed by the beauty of their music. The guests really enjoyed their selections for the cocktail hour as well!!

We LOVED every second of the performances by the string quartet. They made our guests energetic and cheery with all of the nostalgic and up to date tunes they played. They played something for everyone and even our flower girl decided to cut a rug to the tune of Michael Jackson! If you are considering the quartet...look no further folks because it doesn't get any better. WE LOVED THEM!!! Some of the best money we spent for our wedding. Guests are still talking about them and asking who they were.

I had my heart set on a string quartet, and my dad is a former music professor so they had to be good! I found the quartet online and coordinated everything with Ion Zanca. He was very professional and always very prompt to respond to any questions I had. He sent me a CD before we hired them for our wedding, and I was sold! They sound just as good or better than any symphony ensemble or professional quartet I have ever heard. We had them play classical selections for the ceremony and contemporary/pop selections during the cocktail hour. At one point when we were still busy with family photos, we noticed they were playing Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" and couldn't believe how great it sounded! The music was perfect - exactly what we wanted. Even some of our guests who I wouldn't think would care much for a string quartet kept commenting on how great they were. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. This is something we decided to splurge on because the music was important to us, but it was worth every penny! We only used the classical/non-electric instruments for our wedding, but I'm sure the electric sounds amazing, too!

I knew one of the violinist and he played at the wedding. AWESOME!

They did a fabulous job at our wedding ceremony! The prelude music was upbeat and contemporary then during the ceremony it was more traditional and formal. They have a wide selection of well known songs that when played by the strings sound incredibly unique and even more beautiful. They are very nice and have tons of great ideas and suggestions. I would highly recommend their services!

My husband is the musician and planned all the details for the quartet. He was very pleased with the muscial quality of the quartet. They were excellent at getting back to us quickly and were a real addition to our ceremony.

Helped select music and were on time and played beautifully.;Price was fair but then they charged us extra mileage for the musicians to drive to the wedding site.
