I worked with John based in Livingston, NJ for my wedding at the Pleasantdale Chateau in December 2024 and I cannot recommend Dalsimer, Spitz, and Peck enough. John was extremely patient, friendly, and accommodating and brought my elegant winter vision to life. The decor throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception was breathtaking and we received so many compliments from our guests. The team covered every detail and made the decor truly beautiful and memorable.

We found Dalsimer, Spitz, and Peck through our wedding venue (The Westmount Country Club). Working with John was super fun and easy! As I described what I wanted to him, he brought out samples and showed me things he had done until we made my exact vision come to life. The day of the wedding, the flowers exceeded all my expectations. The centerpieces were full and gorgeous, and my bouquet was exactly as we had discussed. They provided extra boutinierres in case any of the groomsmen needed one. They even made a silk bouquet for one of my bridesmaids who is allergic to roses (and it was identical to the rest)! I highly recommend Dalsimer, Spitz, and Peck!

Many people who had weddings have said the same thing to us, nobody remembers the flowers. We felt they were wrong. For our wedding, we wanted the look to be elegant and classic so when we go back to our album in 20 years, the pictures will look timeless. We looked into Dalsimer Spitz & Peck and noticed that they had offices on Long Island and in New Jersey, which was great since we lived in Jersey City, one of us worked about 10 minutes from their Livingston, NJ showroom and our wedding was on Long Island at the Mansion at Oyster Bay. We scheduled a meeting with John at Dalmiser’s office in Livingston and went in to meet him. Prior to going in, we had a look that we were going for (White Flowers, to keep with the classic, timeless theme) and we took pictures of each spot that we thought we needed to have flowers so we could discuss it and visually all know what we’re referring to. From the moment we met John, it was like meeting an old friend. We are Jewish and were going to have a chuppah, so we showed John pictures of what our dream chuppah looked like, adding that we wanted to have flowers cover the bars at the top and all around so no matter what angle you were looking at the chuppah, the flowers were lush. It made us feel great that John had worked with the Mansion at Oyster Bay previously and showed us pictures of past weddings he had done there. John definitely knew what he was talking about and even made suggestions (like not putting flowers on the back of chuppah because no one would see it and it would save us money) to discussing putting an abundance of candles on the tables and hanging from the centerpieces. Another thing we wanted, was to put lights up over the dance floor to add some drama and make the room feel as though we were dancing under the stars - John had no problem with this and worked with our coordinator Emily (at the Mansion) to make sure we were good to go.We signed the contract and about 4 months out John invited us to come back in and see what everything would look like. We were blown away with how our centerpieces looked - it was exactly what we had envisioned. On the day of our wedding we met with the team onsite and they had already been working on getting everything together, by the time we had finished getting ready, everything was in place. We asked for a few more candles to be placed out by pictures we brought in and they had no problem accommodating us. We had over 260 guests attend our wedding and not 1 guest left before telling us how amazing the flowers looked - timeless and elegant, which was exactly what we wanted to achieve. It was so easy and such a pleasure working with Dalsimer, Spitz & Peck - they literally made our wedding look even more beautiful than we had hoped and we strongly recommend anyone who is looking to make a statement with flowers utilize Dalsimer, Spitz & Peck on their wedding day!

Brian listened to everything we asked for! The DSP team set everything up beautifully and we couldn’t have asked for better arrangements. Everyone was complementing how beautiful the flowers were and wanted to take them home. It was a no brainer after meeting with Brian and just hearing how knowledgeable he was put us at ease. From my first meeting with John, I knew that Dalsimer Spitz and Peck had to be my wedding florist. They did my parents' wedding 40 years ago and it is very clear why they are still the top in the business. It was evident John knew my venue well and what floral decor was necessary. I showed John a few inspiration pictures for my bouquet and centerpieces and we also went over the specific idea I had for my chuppah. I knew John had a good feel for what I wanted and at my final meeting the centerpieces looked amazing. The day of my wedding John, David and the rest of the team went out of their way to show me the flowers early and make sure I did not want any changes. From my bouquet to the chuppah to the centerpieces, everything was breathtaking. They captured my vision perfectly as I knew they would. John was so gracious and easy to work with through the process and I could not be any happier with my wedding flowers.

Dalsimer Spitz & Peck was recommended to us from our venue and after seeing photos of their work, we were sold. John was able to take our Pinterest board and make our wedding vision come to life. From our ceremony to our reception, everything was executed flawlessly and we absolutely loved all of their work. We had a gold arch decorated with florals for our ceremony backdrop, florals lining the aisles and a mix of tall and short centerpieces in the reception that were filled with our wine corks. John and his team did a fabulous job, we highly recommend them!!

The most breathtaking flowers! We initially met with this vendor because they were extremely familiar with our wedding venue but we chose them because their floral designs were absolute perfection. John was hands on in helping chose the centerpieces and bouquets, taking in to account all of the little details of the wedding. We started planning our wedding in October of 2019 and needed to reschedule due to the pandemic. Working with John at Dalsimer Spitz & Peck was such a pleasure during this uncertain time. He was flexible, supportive, and understanding to all that we were going through. John was so easy to talk to and truly understood the vision that we wanted to bring to life. His expertise in this area really shined as soon as we first spoke to him on the phone, and he had ideas that would help make our event better (that we would have never thought of)! The team at Dalsimer Spitz & Peck was so amazing to work with and the day of execution was flawless. We did not have to worry about a thing, and they were done setting up way ahead of schedule which was perfect so we were able to take some photos before the wedding. The team day of was so helpful and went above and beyond making our dream a reality. We had extra requests at the reception for repurposing of our chuppah and hanging a neon sign from the chuppah and they handled it all without any hesitation. They are truly professionals and would highly recommend for any event you are hosting. 10/10!

He took the reins when we needed his guidance yet listened when we were particular about a few things. He provided the most beautiful arrangements for the entire wedding from beginning to end. After receiving a few quotes from other florists, we ended up going with Dalsimer Spitz & Peck, and are SO glad we did! John was amazing throughout the whole process and really helped us hone in on our vision and made it come to life. We were able to stay within our budget which was even better! While we kept things mostly simple with flowers, the extra special touch that they put into our centerpieces, bouquets, centerpiece for the sweetheart table, and the flowers at the church made all the difference. Would highly recommend DSP to any couple looking for a great florist!

DSP is an amazing vendor—they worked closely with us to understand our wedding vision, and also checked in with the venue itself to make sure that things were running smoothly. I worked with Bobby Holland on flowers for my intimate backyard covid wedding and he created something above and beyond my expectations! The chuppah he built was incredible and the center pieces were beautiful. We had a really windy day and the chuppah help up perfectly. Five stars to John at Dalsimer Spitz and Peck Floral & Event Decorators for making my daughter’s wedding absolutely stunning. The wedding was initially scheduled for May 2020 and then delayed until November 2020. We planned to have 180 people, and John helped us design beautiful center pieces and lots of small floral details at a very reasonable price. You may be familiar with something called COVID, which upended everyone’s lives and has caused a lot of fear, misery, and uncertainty. We were very cognizant of the virus and while we decided not to delay the wedding indefinitely, we really wanted to keep our small group safe and comfortable while giving my daughter and her husband a special night to remember. John to the rescue. He worked with us to throw an 18-person wedding that was incredible. Despite the difficulties that COVID presented us with, we had a blast. The flowers were gorgeous, fresh, and gave us all a much-needed boost. His crew was on time, professional, and all around wonderful. Thank you for helping my daughter have a joyous day.

John was fantastic! Friendly, funny, easy to work with and talk to and stayed within my budget. At the last minute, I swapped out one arrangement for another - but on my wedding day, John surprised me with both arrangements and did not charge me any additional money. He brought my EXACT vision for a winter wonderland to life - I cannot put into words the feeling that overcame me when I walked into the ballroom for the first time and saw how the decor came together. It was unbelievable. And absolutely perfect. My only regret is that my photographer did not take more pictures. Thanks again John!

We literally could not recommend Dalsimer Spitz & Peck enough! We worked with John and met with him in Livingston, NJ. John is so great to work with - he is extremely knowledgeable and immediately put me at ease! John really understood our vision and exactly what we wanted. Our first meeting with him happened to be my parents wedding anniversary weekend and when my dad mentioned it, John gave beautiful flowers as a gift to my mom, and also my mother-in-law too. Just so sweet! Someone told me that Dalsimer Spitz & Peck put together the most beautiful chuppah they have ever seen - and they were absolutely right! All of our flowers were just so beautiful! Our table centerpieces were beyond perfect; they were prettier than I could have ever pictured. The flowers were beautiful and there were four different styles of arrangements for all of the tables. The glass vase centerpieces, flowers, and hanging candles were just so romantic and perfect! We also had flowers cascading down our wedding cake and they were so classic and pretty! My bridal bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets were gorgeous - my bridesmaids loved their bouquets! John made everything so easy! He worked with us on all the details; he even asked for a color swatch of the bridesmaids dresses to coordinate the colors! Dalsimer Spitz and Peck really knows their stuff and is a perfect wedding florist!!

I was married at Pleasantdale Chateau and had Dalsimer Spitz & Peck for my florist and couldn't have been happier. John did an AMAZING job and it was everything I hoped for and more. Every arrangement looked beautiful whether it was the table centerpieces, the arch for our ceremony, the place card table, or the staircase. And not only did they capture the attention of everyone they lasted a whole week after the wedding in my livingroom! I truly enjoyed my experience with Dalsimer Spitz and Peck. After our first meeting John remembered my favorite flowers and those I hated. He really tried to get flowers similar to my favorites peonies which were not in season at the time. Any special requests my mother or I had was carried out. John's attention to detail is impeccable. I would recommend this florist to anyone. They do exceptional work and everything looks so elegant.

We worked with John and met several times to convey the look and feel we wanted for our formal wedding at the Rockleigh. He surpassed our expectation by attending to every detail. Bobby (Robert Holland) is amazing! He met my vision for all of my floral designs perfectly!! All of the bouquets, centerpieces, and decor were lush and full. All of the flowers were fresh. Everything was delivered on time! The color scheme for all of my floral arrangements matched what we discussed perfectly. I was emailed a very specific outline of exactly what flowers would be included in all of my arrangements. I was also able to go the day before the wedding to look at the bridesmaids bouquets and my own bouquet, which was great. As a bride, you are allowed to pick any flower you want for your bouquet, no matter the cost. Bobby worked with my budget and helped me select which flowers would work well for my time of year/vision. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, and talented!! He also provided uplighting for my venue and a special door decor which looked absolutely beautiful! 10 out of 10 stars for sure!!

Highly, highly recommend!! We worked with John and he was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we met him he was kind, friendly, helpful, and flexible. He worked within our budget and added/subtracted things from our centerpieces until we had the exact vision we wanted! After having researched in great depth, I called and spoke with multiple florists. After narrowing it down to our top choices, I ended up only booking appointments with 3. John was the very first florist we had visited with and soon after speaking with him, we went ahead and booked him for our event. He was everything we wanted & more. Professional, personable, able to answer all of our questions & advise us accordingly. We met with him again, closer to the wedding, to see what he had created based upon our discussions & photos. The samples he created were as magical as we had envisioned & depicted exactly what we had requested for our wedding day. I am over the moon about how seamless everything was, from the booking to the execution. Just a fabulous company and team. They also did many things above and beyond. My mother in law (to be) had a broach of my father made for me, and with his passing, she still wanted for him to be able to walk me down the aisle. I requested for it to be tied to my bouquet for our Catholic wedding. Using the lace attached to my broach, they created a cross that attached to my bouquet. It was so meaningful, so thoughful, so beautiful. I have preserved the broach just that way & will be having it framed. So, in addition to Dalsimer, Spitz, and Peck creating the most gorgeous floral creations you have ever seen, they are also very thoughtful and care so much that you have the wedding of your dreams! Every detail we had discussed was taken care of beautifully. Also, as one of the top-tier vendors in the field, I had requested that John guide me in regards to floral types and colors used. All I had to do was share photos of some of our wedding selections, looks that we had liked, and describe the feel I wanted to achieve, and John was able to just pull the most beautiful designs from thin air. He read me perfectly. On our wedding day, the florals were more beautiful than I could have ever imagined! You are in great hands booking with Dalsimer, Spitz, and Peck. We had our wedding about a month ago and we chose to go with Dalsimer Spitz & Peck! We worked with John out in Livingston, NJ. He was very organized and knowledgeable. His experience put us at ease throughout the entire process. He brought our vision to life in the details and the colors. From our centerpieces to the beautiful arch of flowers for the ceremony, every single detail was spectacular. The flowers were super fresh. The crew was very professional and efficient. They even asked us before they left if there was anything else at all that we needed and if we were satisfied with what was there. They knew our venue (Crystal Plaza) very well and worked with the vendors also to have everything compliment each other. The bouquets perfectly complimented my bridal party colors. Dalsimer Spitz and Peck definitely provided me with wonderful flowers at a very reasonable price. My bouquets, centerpieces, boutonnieres, and corsages came out beautifully. Robert Holland and his staff were so easy to work with and very responsive to my many inquiries. I had a very vague vision of what I wanted the flowers to look like and Robert was great in taking that very tiny vision and extrapolating it into something that I absolutely loved. I had my wedding this past weekend, 8/11/18 and hired John from Dalsimer Spitz & Peck (Livingston, NJ location) as our florist. I could not have been more amazed by his work!! John was a pleasure to work with, extremely kind, and offered us the best bang for our buck when it came to negotiating pricing. I wanted to get married under a Jewish Chuppah with "one million flowers", and John made it happen. Absolutely the best! As someone who works in the industry i knew i had to have Dalsimer for my florals after seeing years of beautiful designs they have done for my own clients. Steven was such a pleasure to work with and took SO much time in meeting with me and going over every detail to make sure everything was just right. Hello! I got married at the Royalton At Roslyn Country Club on 12/01/17 and we worked with the amazing Bobby at DSP. I do not have enough words to discuss how wonderful DSP was from start to finish. Our flowers were BREATHTAKING. They made us two trees with branches and fairy lights for a winter wonderland feel. must report that the job done did not meet expectations. Some elements were perfect while others were not what we discussed or entirely missing, breaching the negotiated contract. The only thing I was really happy with were the centerpieces. For the church, I had asked for the pew to have tulle. There was no tulle. Instead there were plastic bows. The wrap from my bouquet unraveled 15 minutes in to my church service, so much so that the priest had to help me put it back together. The maid of honor and flower girl bouquets also had the wrap unravel by the end of the church service. At the hall, the escort table was mediocre. It was a small vase. There were no loose greens or flowers on the passing trays and culinary displays for our cocktail space. There was no flowers in the ladies' powder room. The cake decor was awful. There were 5-8 flowers stuck randomly on 1-2 tiers of our 5 tier cake. It looked like a child had done it. It looked so bad that we pulled them off and our maitre d' redid it himself. Additionally the feedback I received from the maitre d' was again that the staff seemed confused and unclear of what needed to be done.

I wrote this letter to DSP after my daughter's wedding on August 26, 2017. I recommend them so tightly. They were such a pleasure to work with; so accommodating and they bent over backwards to get everything we wanted for this special day. They are the best! Dear Bobby, Martin, Brian and everyone at DSP, I want to thank you again for making Stefanie's wedding so incredibly beautiful!! All of our guests have not stopped raving at how magnificent the florals were. The Chuppah was spectacular. It was executed with perfection. Just how I pictured it. I am prejudice, but I thought it was one of the most beautiful chuppah's I have ever seen. Simple and elegant. Thank you for doing the bouquets on site as well as the wreaths for the girls. They turned out perfect as well. After the brunch, I collected all the beautiful white and pink orchids and made a huge bouquet for Stefanie to take home. They were so gorgeous I could not leave them there. Thanks for working so hard to get those for us. Last but not least, thank you for putting up with a customer who is very very fussy. But as you could tell form the final product, all that fussiness was for a good reason. Together we turned out one amazing affair. Dalsimer Spitz & Peck was the upmost professional and AMAZING VENDOR. The flowers that they had for our wedding were truly to DIE for. The arrangements were like 3 Feet tall! I never imagined them so beautiful in my wildest dreams! He made a sample for us without charging and he earned our trust. I knew that the flowers would be beautiful but he made sure every arrangement was filled PERFECTLY. It was the best wedding and everyone still talks about the flowers!!!! Bobby is the ABSOLUTE BEST! There is no other way to put it. He cares so much about his clients and he made sure to capture EVERY single DETAIL into the flowers. From the men’s corsages to the diamonds in my boquet. There are no words that would do him proper justice. Bobby really made our wedding the most beautiful event there was. He was extremely responsive and we would give Dalsimer Spitz & Peck a thousand stars if we could. Bobby was reasonable, detail oriented, punctual, and the payment was so easy. The flowers arrived perfectly and on TIME! Just an overall delight to work with Bobby and I would HIGHLY recommend for not only weddings but for any event. Bobby even took care of giving us some of the leftover arrangements the day after. He is INCREDIBLE and we LOVED him so much! We wish we could relive that night! It was the best night of our lives!

John and his team did an incredible job with the flowers for our wedding! From the bouquets to the outdoor chuppah to the center pieces, everything was more beautiful than we could have imagined. The flowers look gorgeous in our pictures! It was also a pleasure meeting and working with John. We told him our colors and tastes and he handled everything from there. I can't recommend John highly enough!

We worked with John for our wedding at The Westmount Country Club and everything was above and beyond spectacular! John truly took my winter vision and created a gorgeous and elegant wonderland. All of the bouquet were exactly how I pictured and the decor of our cocktail room/reception room exceeded my expectations. John was always super responsive with emails/phone calls. Just incredible service from start to finish!

My flowers were absolutely gorgeous!!!!! John made my vision come to life beautifully and more!!! He even added more beautiful touches than I expected on my cake, cocktail hour tables and sweetheart table. I would recommend to every bride!!! I got so many compliments from my guests and even have a friend who is getting married next year book him!!! I couldn't have asked for a better florist!!!

My daughter got married this weekend at Temple Emanu-El in Closter, NJ. John and his team could not have done a better job. The Chuppah was beautiful, and his guys were a pleasure to deal with. The tables each had a unique setting, and people were taking pictures of the different table arrangements. Highly recommend this company! Fairly priced and easy to work with!

My husband and I got married at The Grove and we had the pleasure of working with John on our flowers. John made the whole process very simple from the very beginning. We could not have been more pleased with everything! The flowers came out exactly how we wanted and they were just gorgeous!!! People were asking what we paid and were assuming almost double the price! I was so happy and I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone that is looking. I remember when I was looking for my vendors these reviews were so helpful so really, if you are unsure, LISTEN TO THIS ONE! :)

I worked with John who did a fantastic job for my wedding! He was a pleasure to work with every step of the planning process and his customer service was great. He was available for any in-person or phone conversations we needed, mocked up our centerpieces at the venue so we were fully confident with our decisions, and was there in-person to ensure everything was perfect on the big day. The flowers were stunning - from the bouquets to the gorgeous lucite chuppah to the array of centerpieces - all of the arrangements were unique and brought our vision to life. We are still receiving compliments several weeks after our wedding. Thank you!!

I was not sure at first about signing with Dalsimer Spitz & Peck because their store just does not seem very inviting from the outside. The entrance actually looks like the side door to a wearhouse. However, Steven and his staff were very professional and were able to take my ideas and make them into a stunning reality. I was extremely happy with my centerpieces. My bouquet was beautiful. Thank you!
