This business started in 1962 with Woody's, a restaurant opened by Kelly's grandparents, R. L. and Ida Belle Dalton. Throughout the years, they opened various restaurants that were passed down to Kelly's dad, Bobby. In the late 1970s, Bobby began a catering business that served churches, weddings, and other special events. In 2021, Kelly followed in their father's footsteps and reopened their family business, Dalton's Catering.
