I got married in June 2022 at Damariscotta Lake Farm (DLF) in Jefferson, ME. As a Jefferson resident, I was excited to see DLF under new ownership after it had been closed for some... time. I had seen parts of the property while under the previous management, but Tracey and her team completely revamped it. They created a beautiful, rustic yet classy, comfortable space that was the backdrop of one of the best days of my life. I was Tracey's first bridal client, and she was an absolute joy to work with- it felt like planning my wedding with a friend. Her patience and flexibility were so appreciated as we both navigated unfamiliar territory together. My family and I had the luxury of renting the entire affixed farmhouse, so it was amazing to be able to be on the property the entire week before my event. Tracey was so helpful during the set up / decorating process and courteously catered to the needs of myself and family all week, including giving us access to the venue so we could decorate at a slower pace. When the day of the event came, it was so heart-warming to see Tracey just as excited as we were. She filled the role of my “day of coordinator” and worked with all my vendors to ensure they had what they needed, and the day was as stress-free as possible. The venue has such a cool layout and very comfortably fit my 80+ guests (and could have fit more). We utilized the event room for formal dining, the deck for cocktail hour and dancing, and the beautiful lawn/and wooded spots for our ceremony and outdoor games/mingling. Additionally, there are some incredibly beautiful backdrops outside for amazing wedding photos. Tracey and her team jumped right in to help clean up once the event was over, which made it so much easier to do the rest of the clean up the following day. Having my wedding at DLF was the absolute best choice I could have made, and I couldn’t be more grateful to Tracey and her team for helping to give me a beautiful wedding day.
