ctacular job. On top of it all, my wedding planning was very much at the last minute and they somehow pulled it off without a hitch. Brenda talked with me at length and helped me to find my style and define my tastes. Their instagram portfolio of past work was incredibly helpful.

ver the breakup with my fiancé, and the last thing I expected was that Damselfly would increase my misery by enforcing its contractual “no-refund” policy. Think of the sheer unfairness: Damselfly took my entire deposit of nearly $3,200 even though I cancelled a year in advance. Damselfly gave me not one flower in return. When we described this as greed, Damselfly wrote back, “’Greed’ -- what does that mean?” No other vendor behaved so indecently. Learn from my mistake. If they did this to me, they could do it to you. The owner eventually offered a credit for a limited time toward future purchases. This does me no good because (A) I cannot imagine that I would ever use such a large credit, (B) Damselfly never put the offer in writing and (C) Damselfly was so obnoxious to me that I could never buy from them. Unless you are the type of person who would enjoy litigating with your florist, I recommend that you find a different vendor.

solutely wonderful in helping us create beautiful arrangements in our color theme and within our budget. We first met virtually for a design consultation where she answered any questions we had, and provided great ideas to help us achieve our vision. She created a well thought-out creative brief that highlighted the colors we wanted, what flowers she had in mind for that season, and provided a vision board of how she envisioned execution. She even allowed us to source our own candles and vases for the tables to help on costs - which we arranged for drop-off around a month before the event. Caroline even helped the venue pack up the candles at the end of the night. Caroline and talented her team completely went above and beyond to make our wedding magical, and we are so grateful we went with Damselfly Designs as our florist. I wholeheartedly recommend their services, and completely plan to use them in the future.

n. She worked with our wedding coordinator and created the most beautiful chuppah I have ever seen. When the team arrived, we realized we ordered 8 centerpieces instead of 12, (that was our fault, not theirs). They ended up brainstorming and making it work with what we had and everyone still raved about the centerpieces. The bouquet was stunning. I cannot wait to order and work with Damselfly in the future. Everyone who was apart of the team is so kind, patient, hardworking and it was just an absolute pleasure to have them with me on my special day. Hire them!

Even though my point-of-contact changed halfway through planning, our notes and vision were transferred seamlessly to our new point person, Caroline. We knew wanted a bright, vibrant, summery palette, and Caroline took our disjointed, sketchy ideas and shaped them into something so magical and stunning. She was friendly and responsive over email and phone, always with a solution and open to feedback, and we enjoyed meeting her in person to see a sample arrangement and discuss our details. Our chuppah, bouquets, centerpieces, and accents were all so gorgeous. We received so many compliments on the colors and designs. She and her team truly went above and beyond and worked so well with our venue, Tappan Hill, on the setup and breakdown - we didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of our wedding. Damselfly had done multiple weddings at my venue before and knew the space incredibly well, so I felt very comfortable leaving flowers in their capable hands as I was planning my entire wedding from another country and wouldn’t see anything in person until the actual day of the ceremony. And they knocked it out of the park! My guests and family could not stop complimenting the flowers all night, and clamored to take them home at the end of the night. Brenda and her whole team were incredibly helpful and responsive in the planning process, and I would highly recommend them to everyone.

I explained I wanted something a little disco, a little sexy, and sophisticated. I gave my colors. And kaboom, the tablescape Ashley showed me in the planning stages and the flowers Damselfly created took my breath away. So there's that. But also, Ashley offered suggestions when I wasn't sure what I wanted, she gave alternatives when I was looking for lower prices. I asked for and received frank opinions when I felt I was out of my depth. I felt I could trust Ashley, I DID trust her, and day-of felt very happy with everything: my tables, my chuppah, my bouquet, and all the other many florals! Looking at the photos 6 weeks after the wedding, I am even more over the moon at how everything looked and VERY confident in recommending her; I can see just how well everything came out. 100% recommend.

Damselfly Designs gave us the wedding of our dreams! From the chuppah to the bouquet to the centerpieces, it really was just so special and beautiful. One additional thing we would like to note: On an occasion when we visited Damselfly’s showroom, a lot of the team members were there, and the centerpieces and designs that we saw were INCREDIBLE! Everyone there had a smile on their face and the team was working all together. It was such a great experience, and you can see the passion, thoughtfulness, care, and heart this team has for their work. If we could do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a thing! Damselfly worked with us by providing options with different elements to create our romantic, dare I say fairytale, wedding at the Castle Hotel and Spa. They accomodated our budget while delivering the aesthetic we wanted. Traci managed the entire process from beginning to end. We didn't have to worry about coordinating with the venue or be involved in any of the logistics. The flowers were stunning. Damselfly didn't use a bunch of fillers in any of the arrangements. Each piece was exquisitely created for our day. All of our guests commented on how beautiful everything looked. From the massive, attention grabbing bouquets to the table arrangements and candelabras, it all came together in a spectacular way.

It was truly an incredible experience, and although I was a bit worried on not being able to see the flower arrangements before the day of the wedding, I could tell in the descriptions that they got what I was looking for. We went into the meeting with only some general ideas of what we wanted and Traci did an amazing job with helping us make all of the detailed decisions. y had to say what we liked and didn't like and they did all of the rest! Knowing that we wanted to be surprised by what the design would look like, we put a ton of trust in Brenda with our wedding and we couldn't be happier. Everything from the driftwood arch for the ceremony with cascading flowers to the floating candle centerpieces were tasteful and classy with just enough hint of "beach" to make it feel like "us". The real show stoppers were the bouquets! I remember the moment they arrived and my mouth just dropped to the floor with how gorgeous they were! Brenda was even able to incorporate a personal item that was special to me into my bouquet which made everything even that much better. We really appreciated Brenda stepping in and working directly with our venue's event manager, which took a ton of stress off of our plates. The end result was gorgeous, classy, timeless, elegant and very "us." My only regret is not having more time to view the event space before the party started! Thank you to Brenda, Larry and the entire Damselfly team for making our wedding perfect!
