From our very first phone call with Dan, we immediately got the sense of how much he genuinely loves what he does and how passionate he is about creating a fun, lively, and unforge...
ttable wedding experience. You can tell right away that his biggest priority is making sure people are enjoying themselves, and that energy carried throughout our entire wedding day.
For our wedding, we knew we had a mixed crowd of both older and younger guests, and with our wedding being on the smaller side, it was really important to us that the music and overall atmosphere felt engaging and enjoyable for everyone attending. Dan and the band absolutely exceeded every expectation we had. The energy they brought throughout the night truly brought our vision to life and created such an incredible atmosphere from start to finish.
One thing we especially appreciated was how accommodating and attentive Dan was throughout the entire process. Not only did the band set up for the reception, but they also coordinated setups across multiple locations for our ceremony and cocktail hour as well, which helped everything flow seamlessly throughout the evening. Dan also really listened to our preferences and incorporated the music we loved after we shared some of our favorite songs and overall vibe for the wedding.
The band went above and beyond in terms of energy, performance, and crowd engagement. The dance floor was packed, guests were having the best time, and people are still talking about how amazing the music was. They created one of those experiences that truly becomes a core memory from your wedding day.
Booking Dan Harvey and the band was easily one of the best decisions we made throughout the wedding planning process. It was so much fun, completely unforgettable, and without a doubt one of the biggest highlights of our wedding weekend. We cannot recommend them enough.
We were excited to get married and had a tropical vision with a live reggae/yacht rock band vibe in the background. We were working full time and had little time to go through all...
of the planning and listening and tasting etc... Our wedding planner, Kristy Harvey nailed it by hiring The Dan Harvey Band. Not only did they provide the music we were looking for, Dan DJ'ed the reception after playing in the band for cocktail hour. Guests were dancing up a storm and after the wedding I heard such great things about him. Because we were being pulled for pictures frequently, we did not get the chance to personally meet Dan, but he brought exactly what we were looking for and had several compliments the following days. Thank you Dan for putting the mashups together last minute and making our wedding soundtrack #1 on the Billboard list. We haven't danced like that....well, ...ever! You are definitely hired for the vow renewal. I highly recommend ...he transports you to a Caribbean Island then jet sets to your first high school dance then off to our parents prom. Nailed it DH, thank you.
Dan the man Harvey. Where to begin!!! From the beginning, Dan has been nothing but accommodating. He truly cares about his clients and their special day. He was always offering to ...
do all he could to help us leading up to our wedding day. He was very easy to communicate with, always answering a text, email, or phone call right away and very professionally.
Now, let’s get to the good stuff. The band has single handedly been the most talked about part of our wedding. The guests have been absolutely raving about how talented this band was and how much fun they had dancing all night. We kept our playlist to an oldies hits vibe and not only did they absolutely CRUSH it, but they also crushed every song they played in any genre. EVERYONE was on their feet dancing all night. It was impossible not to with the show these guys put on. When we were searching for a wedding band, we really wanted one that would fit our Keys beach wedding vibe and they were everything we dreamed of and more. We even added an hour to our reception just before it ended, and they were happy to accommodate us and keep the music and party alive.
We have nothing but amazing things to say about our experience with The Dan Harvey Band. They were fantastic. Fun, quality, electric, show stopping, unforgettable!!!!!
My husband and I are so delighted that Dan was available to sing at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Dan has an extensive song catalogue and was extremely communicative with...
us via email before the event. We were blown away by how beautiful he sounded as he sang "I'm Yours" and "What a Wonderful World" as we walked down the aisle. His voice is even more amazing in person than the videos! Dan timed the songs perfectly for our wedding procession and recession. His equipment sounded great, and he provided the microphone for our officiant. Our guests enjoyed his singing during cocktail hour as well, and he provided the perfect soundtrack to the exquisite Key West sunset. After our wedding, several hotel guests and employees thanked us for Dan's music that they got to enjoy. We highly recommend Dan Harvey and thank him for making our day so special!
We used Dan to set up sound for our welcome dinner as well as for wedding day. He came with a package put together by our venue. He set up the sound system and left for a gig dur...
ing the welcome dinner making it really difficult to switch to using the microphones he left us for speeches. We were under the impression he would be there the whole time. He was supposed to play acoustic music through our cocktail hour and he played so briefly several of our guests commented that they didn’t know he had played at all. On the other hand, he did a great job with the ceremony music and microphones as well as lights and music once we got to the dancing part of the night.
Best band you could ask for! I'm still hearing from our guests saying how amazing they were. The band could not have made it more easy to plan for the wedding as well - highly reco...
