There are not enough kind words to say about Dan and his videographer, Sebastian. When I found Dan online, I fell in love with his work and attention to detail. When I saw his work in person at a bridal show I attended, it was even better. Dan was so friendly and professional. He made taking photos very comfortable and helped my husband and I loosen up and pose throughout the day. He took all the photographs we requested and more! Every shot had intention behind it and Dan had such a great eye. He knew our venue really well (Falkirk Estate) and knew exactly where to take us for photos (he even took us for a ride in his car lol). The photos are absolutely STUNNING, just breath taking. The turn around time for viewing the photos was so quick, about a week to see them online. We got all the prints sent to us, and got photos blown up in all different sizes. We look forward to receiving our wedding album for not only us but for both of our parents as well. Dan and Sebastian were so much fun to work with on our wedding day. My husband and I cannot speak highly enough about Dan!!! He was professional in every encounter we had with him. He was also a wonderful calming presence to have at the wedding especially when things began to feel chaotic when we were short on time to get pictures (which was no fault of Dan, just how weddings are). Dan was also super helpful in helping my husband and I figure out what pictures we wanted, when to take them, and a realistic time frame to get things done in. This was super helpful since neither of us had attended a wedding in years so we didn't know much going into the whole wedding planning process Dan also has an amazing artistic eye so every picture is beautiful in its own way. No two pictures feel like the same even if they were taken in the same spot. Every picture was also beautiful. I was expecting to get the pictures and dislike some of them because I am hyper-critical when it comes to pictures of myself but there is not one picture that Dan took that I did not like. Dan was so professional and had such obvious experience. Before the wedding day he met with us twice and made sure anything we wanted was on the list for the day of. Return time of digit copies were the next week on his website and then the following I had everything else! Highly recommend!

Dan was absolutely wonderful!!!! Dan photographed my sister's wedding, along with my cousins, and friends. He is very professional, easy going, and takes the time to get to know each of his couples. He is very talented with his work, and is knowledgeable about the venues he works with, specifically the locations at these venues to capture the best pictures. Although I was familiar with Dan's style, based on photographing my sister's wedding prior to mine, he made my day personal as he wanted to know exactly what I wanted. We hired Dan to shoot our wedding photos. He was both professional and friendly throughout the entire process. He really made the wedding day feel even more special. Dan was a wonderful photographer! He was easy to work with, great with communication and made the day fun! The first time we met with Dan my husband said, "You can tell how much he loves his job!" Dan took the time to show us photos from our venue and church of past weddings so that we could see all he could do! I never had to worry about timing the day of our wedding, Dan was on top of it! We also did a videographer with Dan. Seb the videographer was wonderful. Dan and Seb worked very well together. They were quick and did amazing work! Dan was familiar with our venue (Falkirk Estate and Country Club) which made it even better! Dan sent us proofs within a week and we received our photos the following week! We are so pleased with our photos and the work that Dan and Seb did! We would highly recommend using Dan!

When we first sat down with Dan and saw his work we instantly looked at each other and booked him for our wedding! That was one of the best decisions we made in wedding planning. Throughout the whole planning process it was such a pleasure to work with Dan. From our engagement photo session, to our big day, we were never disappointed. Hiring Dan to photograph our wedding was one one the best decisions we made throughout our planning process. Not only was he incredible at was he does, but it was thanks to him that we hired our DJ and used the florist that we did for our bouquets. I am so incredibly grateful that we listened to his suggestions and went with those amazing vendors as well. But, back to Dan,,,from the moment he walked into the hotel room, any anxiety I felt about the day melted away. He had such a calming presence that made me feel confident that everything would go smoothly. Everyone tells you it is important you like your photographer because that is who you are going to spend most of your day with, but I don't think I realized how much of a difference that individual could truly make until I experienced it. We were a large group (9 bridesmaids and 11 groomsmen), but somehow he managed to keep us all in line without impeding our fun. The pictures came out beautifully and we were so impressed with his turn around time. We highly recommend Dan Lungen Photography!

Dan Lungen is the best wedding photographer out there. He shot our engagement photos, micro wedding in October 2020, and our wedding mass and reception in October 2021. His work is absolutely outstanding. The quality of the photos is incredible but also his ability to capture priceless moments and the emotion of the day was nothing short of magical. I first heard about Dan Lungen Photography through the internet, and when I met with him, I had discovered that he was the wedding photographer and videographer for many other couples that I knew. Dan's work speaks for itself, but hearing how wonderful he was to work with made me see that he was the right choice for my wedding photographer and videographer. From the moment I first decided to work with Dan, I was very impressed with how well he communicated with me, as well as the advice he gave me throughout the wedding planning process. He gave me several great recommendations for other vendors, who I ended up using for my wedding. When it came to the actual wedding, I worked with Dan to set up a day of schedule to work with so that everything would run on time. Leading up to the wedding, we had a few reports of potential rain (otherwise known as a bride's worst nightmare), and Dan was very comforting throughout the process. We discussed possible back up plans in case of rain for wedding photos, which brought me a tremendous sense of comfort. On the day of the wedding, Dan arrived early at each location and helped us stick to our schedule so that everything began and ended on time. He was so warm and welcoming to everyone and made the entire photoshoot such a fun process. Everyone in the wedding party, including a few who don't like having their photos taken, had the nicest things to say about Dan. I would highly recommend him as your wedding photographer and videographer - you'll be thankful that you did! Finally, here is essential advice for brides - make a list of all the photos you want to have at the wedding and include all the combinations to share with Dan. The day goes by so fast that you can forget to take specific photos with individual family members or group photos.

From the moment I sat down with Dan , he walked me through the process and shared his work with me. We hit it off right away. My appointment did not feel like a appointment but an old friend sharing their passion for photography. He checked in a few weeks before the wedding to touch base and review how the wedding should go. He was early to my hotel, which sets a brides mind at ease knowing he was not going to be late. He captured shots of my family and friends that made me laugh out loud and ones that touched my heart! He captured me crying while dancing with my father. Which was one of those unexpected moments of how much a little girl loves her daddy! He captured James' face the moment I walked down the isle. The glow on my husbands face says it all. The awestruck smile of love and joy. He captured tons of funny photos of my groomsmen chasing my nephew who is 2 years old through group photos and a family friend dancing with James' 87 year old aunt! He captured the band "Bill's Toupee" on the dance floor singing with my guest and myself. Showing the level of carefree fun we had at the reception. Of course, he took the classic photos of the bridal party and James and I getting ready. He covered it all. From the standard wedding photos to the stolen moments most don't see. I can not recommend Dan enough. He is a true pleasure to work with.

Dan Lungen is an amazing photographer! He captured every special moment and made the whole process as easy as possible. Our experience with Dan was absolutely perfect. He is incredible with communication. I’ve never had someone respond so quickly to my emails! Dan did a great job running around and managing our various family members. He was really good at watching the clock to make sure everything went smoothly (and building in lots of extra time). When things inevitably run late or otherwise go wrong, the soothing aura he exudes calms everyone. Photos came back in like 6 days (we were still on the honeymoon) including wacky photoshops. Pretty great guy to deal with!

Dan was awesome! He had previously done my sisters wedding and we liked how her pictures came so we just had to have him He was very accommodating when booking with us and was great to work with! He came on time and took such amazing pictures that we didnt even know he was there at times :0) Dan was very kind and was able to get us our pictures a week after the wedding! Dan was great and very professional. The pictures came out perfectly. Afterwards we wished we had requested him to take certain pictures and when we recieved our pictures we saw he had captured everything that we wanted. Dan had the pictures to us within the next week. I don't even know where to begin with how amazing Dan and our videographer Sebastian were for our wedding last weekend! My husband and I aren't local to New York, so we did all of our planning over the phone and through email, and we put a lot of faith in reviews to help us book our vendors. I can easily say that every single rave review about Dan is 100% true! We felt so at ease working with him, and he was the utmost professional, but more than that we had FUN! We got our wedding photos back to view within a week (which is crazy for over 1300 photos!) and are just waiting on the video, which I'm sure will be just as amazing! I loved Dan's honesty (he told me he could easily shoot our wedding by himself) and his incredible eye for taking beautiful pictures. We even love our hundreds of candid shots! I can't say thank you enough to Dan and Sebastian for capturing the beauty and happiness of our big day!

Dan was pleasant, professional, accommodating to the busy schedule I had In arranging a time to meet.... and he was so accessible via email(he got right back to me and answered any question I had!!!)... on our wedding day he was spot on!! He got each picture we asked for and then some!!! We had over 225 people at our wedding and Dan captured every breathtaking moment all by himself!!! I was always thinking I would need 2 shooters but he assured me he was enough... and he was correct!!! He was a pleasure to work with on the day of our wedding and we in NO WAY felt hasseled by getting together for pictures during the cocktail hour or reception! He took over 1100 pictures of our special day and got our proofs uploaded to us within a week and a half! We also got the proofs in our hands ... everyone of them with Two weeks!! Dan was the most wonderful photographer we could have asked for! From our first meeting, to our wedding, to picking up our pictures and flashdrive, he was extremely professional and knowledgeable about how to get the best photographs. The weather for our wedding was terrible, but Dan made the best of it and used his experience to get us fantastic pictures. He even jumped in and tried to help out when one of our groomsmen forgot his dress shirt, offering his own shirt. He was not obtrusive during the ceremony or reception, and everyone was able to have a blast and he was able to get great pictures! I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who needs a photographer!

Dan was awesome and professional the whole time. All the photos are lovely. We did a two hour engagement shoot in July in 98 degrees and the photos were still great. On the day of the wedding we did four hours of photos and it was fun the whole time thanks to Dan. We’re super excited to see our video too. We know he used drones to get aerial views of the venue, which we thought was super cool. My husband and I definitely recommend Dan Lungen for event photography.

Dan was an outstanding photographer. He was easy to work with, funny, professional, skilled at helping a nervous bride and groom relax for the photo sessions, and particularly skilled at adjusting family members who are not experienced in front of the camera, to bring out their best selves. One family member commented that he was so unobtrusive that she barely noticed he was taking photos at all — and as a result of that, he captured absolutely wonderful candid photos from throughout the ceremony and reception. Also, Dan edited the photos and got them back to us within a week of the wedding — bravo, Dan!

From our first meeting we could tell that Dan was creative, organized, and experienced. After our engagement session we saw all of these attributes in action and had a great time. We used several shots for our save the dates. On the wedding day, Dan was excellent at blending into the background. Dan was incredible! From our very first meeting with him, we knew we were in excellent hands. Dan went through his portfolio with us and explained how a wedding day usually goes, which was really helpful being that my now husband and I didn't really know what we were doing. Dan had all the answers! The day of, Dan and the videographer showed up 15 minutes early, were polite, professional, and really funny- they had us laughing the whole day! Our photos look amazing, he does an excellent job at directing you which makes for beautiful photos. This is great if like me, you only had a few ideas in mind. He works with you and of course lets you get any shot you may want. At the reception I barely noticed him around, yet he got pictures of everyone there (170 people!) Our photos exceeded all our expectations, and we cannot wait to see our video. Dan is the best!

We worked with Dan for our engagement photos so that we would feel more prepared on our wedding day. Dan made our wedding day go smoothly. He was praised by many of our guests for how well he was able to blend in, especially during the ceremony. Dan was very respectful and easy to work with. We have a thousand beautiful photos of our wedding day and we absolutely love so many of them. It was hard to choose which photos to use for our album! Dan was familiar with the venue and surrounding area and gave us ideas for where to take our professional photos. He took us for our formal photos between the ceremony and reception and also made sure we were able to be a part of our cocktail hour and reception. We just got all of our proofs from him and they are gorgeous. Dan is thorough, but not pushy and clearly knows what he’s doing! We would not change a thing about working with Dan!

Dan Lungen was so wonderful on the day of my wedding. He went above and beyond. I was actually very sick during my wedding. I had a stomach virus and was in the ER the day before my ceremony. I was still sick and weak the day of my wedding and Dan was beyond fantastic. He was patient and accommodating when the morning schedule was changed due to my illness. He also kept taking breaks for me to drink and take medicine. He did a phenomenal job. I obviously felt pretty awful but you would never know from the pictures! We had talked on the phone, through email, and met in person once before the wedding day, so he knew what I wanted. He did an amazing job of capturing the photos I wanted and directing us into some absolutely breathtaking photos that we didn’t even know we wanted! We split our formal pictures into two sessions, before and after the wedding ceremony and we selected multiple locations to do them. Dan was definitely willing and able to go anywhere we wanted for pictures. The pictures he took are “breathtaking” and that is a direct quote from my mother! We love so many of the photos Dan took. Our only problem is that we are having an impossible time choosing our favorites, which is a great problem to have! The turnaround time of the photos was also unbelievable. We were looking at digital prints in about a week of the ceremony! He also provides little cards with the website and login information so that we could share our photos with our guests and with the family whom were not able to make the trip. Overall, I can’t recommend Dan enough. Our memories and photos are really all we have to remember this day and believe me, it goes by in a blur! Looking through the photos Dan took really transport you back to those moments. He captures some very emotional shots that bring tears to my eyes just looking at them and remembering those moments. You can’t ask for more than that from a photographer.
