My husband and I cannot speak highly enough about Dan!!! He was professional in every encounter we had with him. Dan was so professional and had such obvious experience. Before the wedding day he met with us twice and made sure anything we wanted was on the list for the day of. Return time of digit copies were the next week on his website and then the following I had everything else! Highly recommend!

Dan was absolutely wonderful!!!! Dan photographed my sister's wedding, along with my cousins, and friends. He is very professional, easy going, and takes the time to get to know each of his couples. Dan was a wonderful photographer! He was easy to work with, great with communication and made the day fun! The first time we met with Dan my husband said, "You can tell how much he loves his job!" Dan took the time to show us photos from our venue and church of past weddings so that we could see all he could do! I never had to worry about timing the day of our wedding, Dan was on top of it! We also did a videographer with Dan. Seb the videographer was wonderful. Dan and Seb worked very well together. They were quick and did amazing work! Dan was familiar with our venue (Falkirk Estate and Country Club) which made it even better! Dan sent us proofs within a week and we received our photos the following week! When we first sat down with Dan and saw his work we instantly looked at each other and booked him for our wedding! That was one of the best decisions we made in wedding planning. Throughout the whole planning process it was such a pleasure to work with Dan. From our engagement photo session, to our big day, we were never disappointed. Hiring Dan to photograph our wedding was one one the best decisions we made throughout our planning process. Not only was he incredible at was he does, but it was thanks to him that we hired our DJ and used the florist that we did for our bouquets. I am so incredibly grateful that we listened to his suggestions and went with those amazing vendors as well. But, back to Dan,,,from the moment he walked into the hotel room, any anxiety I felt about the day melted away. He had such a calming presence that made me feel confident that everything would go smoothly. Everyone tells you it is important you like your photographer because that is who you are going to spend most of your day with, but I don't think I realized how much of a difference that individual could truly make until I experienced it. We were a large group (9 bridesmaids and 11 groomsmen), but somehow he managed to keep us all in line without impeding our fun. Dan Lungen is the best wedding photographer out there. He shot our engagement photos, micro wedding in October 2020, and our wedding mass and reception in October 2021. I first heard about Dan Lungen Photography through the internet, and when I met with him, I had discovered that he was the wedding photographer and videographer for many other couples that I knew. Dan's work speaks for itself, but hearing how wonderful he was to work with made me see that he was the right choice for my wedding photographer and videographer. From the moment I first decided to work with Dan, I was very impressed with how well he communicated with me, as well as the advice he gave me throughout the wedding planning process. He gave me several great recommendations for other vendors, who I ended up using for my wedding. When it came to the actual wedding, I worked with Dan to set up a day of schedule to work with so that everything would run on time. Leading up to the wedding, we had a few reports of potential rain (otherwise known as a bride's worst nightmare), and Dan was very comforting throughout the process. We discussed possible back up plans in case of rain for wedding photos, which brought me a tremendous sense of comfort. On the day of the wedding, Dan arrived early at each location and helped us stick to our schedule so that everything began and ended on time. He was so warm and welcoming to everyone and made the entire photoshoot such a fun process. Everyone in the wedding party, including a few who don't like having their photos taken, had the nicest things to say about Dan. Finally, here is essential advice for brides - make a list of all the photos you want to have at the wedding and include all the combinations to share with Dan. From the moment I sat down with Dan , he walked me through the process and shared his work with me. We hit it off right away. My appointment did not feel like a appointment but an old friend sharing their passion for photography. He checked in a few weeks before the wedding to touch base and review how the wedding should go. He was early to my hotel, which sets a brides mind at ease knowing he was not going to be late. He captured shots of my family and friends that made me laugh out loud and ones that touched my heart! He captured me crying while dancing with my father. Which was one of those unexpected moments of how much a little girl loves her daddy! He captured James' face the moment I walked down the isle. The glow on my husbands face says it all. The awestruck smile of love and joy. He captured tons of funny photos of my groomsmen chasing my nephew who is 2 years old through group photos and a family friend dancing with James' 87 year old aunt! He captured the band "Bill's Toupee" on the dance floor singing with my guest and myself. Showing the level of carefree fun we had at the reception. Of course, he took the classic photos of the bridal party and James and I getting ready. He covered it all. From the standard wedding photos to the stolen moments most don't see. I can not recommend Dan enough. He is a true pleasure to work with.

Our experience with Dan was absolutely perfect. He is incredible with communication. I’ve never had someone respond so quickly to my emails! Dan did a great job running around and managing our various family members. He was really good at watching the clock to make sure everything went smoothly (and building in lots of extra time). When things inevitably run late or otherwise go wrong, the soothing aura he exudes calms everyone. Photos came back in like 6 days (we were still on the honeymoon) including wacky photoshops. Pretty great guy to deal with!

Dan was awesome! He had previously done my sisters wedding and we liked how her pictures came so we just had to have him He was very accommodating when booking with us and was great to work with! He came on time and took such amazing pictures that we didnt even know he was there at times :0) Dan was very kind and was able to get us our pictures a week after the wedding! I don't even know where to begin with how amazing Dan and our videographer Sebastian were for our wedding last weekend! My husband and I aren't local to New York, so we did all of our planning over the phone and through email, and we put a lot of faith in reviews to help us book our vendors. I can easily say that every single rave review about Dan is 100% true! We felt so at ease working with him, and he was the utmost professional, but more than that we had FUN! We got our wedding photos back to view within a week (which is crazy for over 1300 photos!) and are just waiting on the video, which I'm sure will be just as amazing! I loved Dan's honesty (he told me he could easily shoot our wedding by himself) and his incredible eye for taking beautiful pictures. We even love our hundreds of candid shots! I can't say thank you enough to Dan and Sebastian for capturing the beauty and happiness of our big day!

Dan was the most wonderful photographer we could have asked for! From our first meeting, to our wedding, to picking up our pictures and flashdrive, he was extremely professional and knowledgeable about how to get the best photographs. The weather for our wedding was terrible, but Dan made the best of it and used his experience to get us fantastic pictures. He even jumped in and tried to help out when one of our groomsmen forgot his dress shirt, offering his own shirt. He was not obtrusive during the ceremony or reception, and everyone was able to have a blast and he was able to get great pictures! Dan was awesome and professional the whole time. All the photos are lovely. We did a two hour engagement shoot in July in 98 degrees and the photos were still great. On the day of the wedding we did four hours of photos and it was fun the whole time thanks to Dan. We’re super excited to see our video too. We know he used drones to get aerial views of the venue, which we thought was super cool. My husband and I definitely recommend Dan Lungen for event photography.

Dan was an outstanding photographer. He was easy to work with, funny, professional, skilled at helping a nervous bride and groom relax for the photo sessions, and particularly skilled at adjusting family members who are not experienced in front of the camera, to bring out their best selves. One family member commented that he was so unobtrusive that she barely noticed he was taking photos at all — and as a result of that, he captured absolutely wonderful candid photos from throughout the ceremony and reception. Also, Dan edited the photos and got them back to us within a week of the wedding — bravo, Dan!

From our first meeting we could tell that Dan was creative, organized, and experienced. After our engagement session we saw all of these attributes in action and had a great time. We used several shots for our save the dates. On the wedding day, Dan was excellent at blending into the background. Dan was incredible! From our very first meeting with him, we knew we were in excellent hands. Dan went through his portfolio with us and explained how a wedding day usually goes, which was really helpful being that my now husband and I didn't really know what we were doing. Dan had all the answers! The day of, Dan and the videographer showed up 15 minutes early, were polite, professional, and really funny- they had us laughing the whole day! Our photos look amazing, he does an excellent job at directing you which makes for beautiful photos. This is great if like me, you only had a few ideas in mind. He works with you and of course lets you get any shot you may want. At the reception I barely noticed him around, yet he got pictures of everyone there (170 people!) Our photos exceeded all our expectations, and we cannot wait to see our video. Dan is the best!

We worked with Dan for our engagement photos so that we would feel more prepared on our wedding day. Dan made our wedding day go smoothly. He was praised by many of our guests for how well he was able to blend in, especially during the ceremony. Dan was very respectful and easy to work with. We have a thousand beautiful photos of our wedding day and we absolutely love so many of them. It was hard to choose which photos to use for our album! Dan was familiar with the venue and surrounding area and gave us ideas for where to take our professional photos. He took us for our formal photos between the ceremony and reception and also made sure we were able to be a part of our cocktail hour and reception. We just got all of our proofs from him and they are gorgeous. Dan is thorough, but not pushy and clearly knows what he’s doing! We would not change a thing about working with Dan!

Dan Lungen was so wonderful on the day of my wedding. He went above and beyond. I was actually very sick during my wedding. I had a stomach virus and was in the ER the day before my ceremony. I was still sick and weak the day of my wedding and Dan was beyond fantastic. He was patient and accommodating when the morning schedule was changed due to my illness. He also kept taking breaks for me to drink and take medicine. He did a phenomenal job. I obviously felt pretty awful but you would never know from the pictures! We had talked on the phone, through email, and met in person once before the wedding day, so he knew what I wanted. He did an amazing job of capturing the photos I wanted and directing us into some absolutely breathtaking photos that we didn’t even know we wanted! We split our formal pictures into two sessions, before and after the wedding ceremony and we selected multiple locations to do them. Dan was definitely willing and able to go anywhere we wanted for pictures. The pictures he took are “breathtaking” and that is a direct quote from my mother! We love so many of the photos Dan took. Our only problem is that we are having an impossible time choosing our favorites, which is a great problem to have! The turnaround time of the photos was also unbelievable. We were looking at digital prints in about a week of the ceremony! He also provides little cards with the website and login information so that we could share our photos with our guests and with the family whom were not able to make the trip. Overall, I can’t recommend Dan enough. Our memories and photos are really all we have to remember this day and believe me, it goes by in a blur! Looking through the photos Dan took really transport you back to those moments. He captures some very emotional shots that bring tears to my eyes just looking at them and remembering those moments. You can’t ask for more than that from a photographer.

He's a true professional & we were in good hands the entire wedding day. We have so many amazing photos to choose from and he also got a lot of great shots of our ceremony & guests without being obtrusive. Dan was the best wedding photographer ever. From the first time we met Dan for an initial consultation in his office, we knew he was perfect. We wanted a combination of some formal and more candid/photojournalistic type of photos. He spent a lot of time with us to make sure we were confident he would be the right fit and got to know us as a couple before we even signed a contract. Dan was the first and only photographer my husband and I met with. He made us feel so welcome and comfortable when we met at his office and his pictures were so beautiful that we decided right away to go with him. I'm so happy that we made the decision to stick with him and not waste our time looking any further. He came to my house before the ceremony to take pictures of me, my parents and bridesmaids. He and the videographer were both great and made everyone there feel comfortable while being photographed. We just got the pictures back the other day and I am beyond happy with them! The formals are beautiful and the dance floor shots are hilarious! I can't believe the moments he caught without being noticed. He made his way around the room and got shots of pretty much every one of my 207 guests. When it came time for him to leave he did not just pack up and go. He came up to me and my husband and asked us if there were any other shots that we wanted before he packed up. I really appreciated that. The day goes so fast that you forget so he gave us a chance to think about anything else we wanted. I would recommend Dan to anyone for wedding, engagement or any type of special event you want to have beautiful memories of. I know brides who were so annoyed at their photographer during their wedding and now when they look at pictures, they remember how annoyed they were at that moment. When I look at my pictures I remember laughing, being totally relaxed and so so happy.

After meeting with Dan we knew we had to go with him. He is knowledgeable, experienced and very professional. Neither of us really like to be in front of a camera, and Dan was great with giving us direction and making sure we got all the shots we wanted. He was prepared to take all the traditional shots but was open for anything we wanted to try as well. He had our photos to us in record time, and looked great. Dan was recommended to me by a family friend and after meeting with him, I did not look for anyone else. He spent so much time and care in our initial meeting as well as our engagement session, and the results were awesome. He is incredibly organized and great at giving direction. The day of the wedding, he arrived early and quickly got to work. Despite the chaos and against the odds of the day, he did everything he could to keep everyone on track and on schedule. Not to mention he was a one man show! He is so likeable and friendly, it was as if we had a guest of the wedding taking all of our pictures. For me, who is so awkward both in general and in front of a camera, Dan made me feel so comfortable. The pictures were posted in record time, and I was able to relive every big moment and trivial detail of the entire day from start to finish. Dan captured so many beautiful candid moments in abundance. He captured the feeling of the day, which to me, is the most important thing about wedding photos. I cannot recommend Dan enough!

Dan was the first vendor we met with when we began the process of finding vendors for our wedding. He came highly recommended from our wedding venue, ‘The Falkirk Estate & Country Club in addition to rave reviews on The Knot and Wedding Wire. Since it was our first meeting, we didn’t know what to expect. Luckily for us, it was everything we could’ve asked for. His office was lined with framed pictures/portraits of previous clients exemplifying the quality of his portfolio, which made it easy for us to picture our memories being captured the same way. After moving forward with Dan, we were impressed by his organizational skills and responsiveness. In our experience, a pre-determined schedule is one of the most important aspects of a wedding and Dan implemented and executed it to perfection, which can only come with experience. On our wedding day, Dan was punctual and professional. He captured each moment perfectly and the love and happiness from the day radiates through these photographs. Every time we look through our pictures we get to relive the best of day of our lives and we are grateful to have these pictures to hold on to forever.

Dan was such an awesome photographer! He was so much fun, it was like having a member of your family taking all of the pictures. My husband and I hired Dan to photograph our engagement photos and wedding. While my husband and I were looking for photographers what set Dan apart from everyone else was his amazing portfolio and his personality. Dan was a very easy person to work with, very flexible, open to many ideas, and very quick to respond to questions. After both the engagement and wedding session, we retrieved the photos very quickly.; engagement photos within a few days after the shoot and wedding photos as soon as we came back from our honeymoon 2 weeks after. Dan was such a pleasure to work with and I will always recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer.

I'll start by saying I can be super socially awkward, and my husband works nights/weekends, so interviewing vendors on my own was HELL. That said, when I met Dan the first time, I felt so at ease, and calmed. He struck me as a guy that I could grab a drink with afterwards - even better, when my husband met him for the first time at our engagement session, he said the exact same thing! He was very quick to respond to any emails/questions, and I sent him a couple of pictures I wanted emulated at my wedding, and he really took to heart the kind of pictures I wanted (not just the exact shots, but the look I was going for). My favorite parts, though, was how well he handled stressed out me, plus how I didn't notice him ONCE during the whole ceremony even though he got beautiful shots, and how he got pictures of every couple in attendance at the wedding. The photos came out beautiful, and with a quick turn around time! I can't say enough good things about him - definitely recommend him!

My husband and I chose Dan as our photographer for our wedding on September 12, 2015. Dan is very professional and wonderful to work with. He made me and my husband feel comfortable, and he was very flexible with us. He was always on time, has great work ethic, and is very approachable. I gave Dan Lungen Photography, Inc. 5 starts because he deserved them. Form the moment we met Dan, he was a true professional. We had met with a few photographers when trying to find our wedding photographer and felt lost. Dan had done my sister’s wedding a few years earlier and we loved him then so we met with him when our time came. My requirements were simple, or so I thought, but when talking to other photographers my requirements seemed crazy. First, I did not want to be pulled away from my wedding. If I did, I wanted to be told beforehand. Second, I wanted to see all my pictures good bad or indifferent. Third, I wanted actual proofs, not just a digital copies. And lastly I wanted the sun, seeing as how I got married at the end of November and even I thought this was not going to be possible. Dan delivered on my every wish. He told me when we met that he knew my venue well and he will be pulling me away once to take a night time picture out by the golf course and if I don’t want to leave then I don’t have too. My pictures were ready 4 weeks after my wedding, (I have friends who have gotten married a year ago, who still don’t have them). I have over 1000 proofs and by proofs I mean actual pictures not just the digitals (I know it was my requirement but he does it anyway). My whole wedding party will tell you then every 10 shots he moved us. Looking at the pictures now I see why, we were literally moving with the sun. When looking at my pictures you cannot tell that it’s the second to last weekend in November, it looks like a beautiful spring day. And then we have the beautiful sun set pictures. Dan was professional and there was such a level of comfort that I had with him

Throughout the entire process Dan made himself available to us, answering questions, easing my worries, and planning logistics for our big day. We did an engagement shoot, our wedding photography (including albums), and video with Dan. Each item was flawless. We were given proofs for every photo, giving us 1000's to choose from. On the day of the wedding, Dan and his team coordinated everything for the photos and video so we did not have to worry about a thing. We had 4 toddlers in our wedding party and Dan did an amazing job making sure we had perfect photos with the toddlers in them.
