Dan was great! So easy to work with, kind and thoughtful, and the pictures turned out amazing! All for a very reasonable price.

Dan was an amazing photographer on our special day. He beautifully captured our day in really special candid moments. His vibe is very light and natural (natural to the eye, he put it) and loved that we got to see real emotion through our photos. He was very comfortable to be around and honestly had a lot of fun with him through out the whole day’s experience! I would highly recommend Dan to friends and shoot with him again for future photoshoots.

Dan did an incredible job shooting our wedding. I noticed that he was anywhere and everywhere we asked him to be capturing each moment. So many of our guests noticed his hard work too! Dan and his team were absolutely outstanding from the moment we messaged them to receiving our finished products! He was really willing to travel for the job as he met us on the coast for our engagement shoot and in the forest near Vernonia for the wedding. His professionalism is second to none as the quality of his photos were stunning, despite he and his partner taking photos for five straight hours on the hottest June weekend in Oregon's history! With temperatures topping 115 degrees, not once did they fail to capture each and every moment with smiles and sunblock on their faces. Hiring Dan was one of the best decisions we ever made!!! He was such a pleasure to work with, and truly went above and beyond to take care of us. We had a hard time finding vendors for our wedding as we got married on the Oregon coast but live four hours away in Washington state. I contacted Dan after reading other reviews and checking out his website, and received a response right away (a rarity for us). Not only was he enthusiastic about our destination, he was affordable AND has a beautiful portfolio...we were excited. Day of the wedding Dan showed up early and ready to work, we relied heavily on him for direction and are so happy with the end result! I cannot tell you how beautiful our pictures turned out, he is a wizard with color, our pictures are so vibrant and lovely! Dan was our photographer for our July 2017 wedding. He was incredibly easy to work with and produced beautiful photos. My husband and I always feel awkward and uncomfortable in photos but Dan made us look good!

When we started our wedding planning, right after booking the venue, Dan was the next vendor we booked. Surprisingly, unlike some of the other vendor choices Dan proved to be a very easy decision, looking through his portfolio it’s plain to see that his pictures are phenomenal. We were having a geek-themed wedding and as we browsed through his photos, we noticed he had photographed a few similar weddings with great success. As most people realize we would be relying on the photos to help relive the memories in the years after the wedding, so we really wanted the photographer to capture as much of the wedding as they could, and if we could offer one piece of advice to budget minded engaged couples, don’t skimp on the photographer. As Dan proved they’re well worth their price tag, Dan met our expectations on the day of the wedding and then far exceeded them with the finished product. He was prompt and energetic, ready to work from the second he walked in the door. He was creative with his suggestions, directed us on positioning and organization, knew when to pull back if needed, and helped keep us on schedule throughout the day. He cataloged and captured our entire day in a way that we never could, and the photos turned out beautifully. His ability to capture candid moments as well as setting up posed shots and having them look natural is uncanny, and the coloring pops out of the photo. Looking back on the experience we feel lucky to have found a photographer that went so far above our expectations in terms of quality of experience and results, fantastic job Dan.

Dan is amazing!!! We had the best pictures and he caught so many great candid photos of us and our guests. Aside from taking great pictures, he also is so easy to work with. He fit in with our guests so well we often didn't even notice there was a photographer around. Months later I'm still hearing from my guests how much they liked Dan. Dan's work is breathtakingly gorgeous and I'm sooooo happy he was our photographer! We met Dan at the Del Mar Bridal Bazaar. We talked to every single photographer there, and Dan was by far the best! Both my fiance and I agreed when we first saw Dan's booth, his photos were unlike all the others. Vibrant colors, beautiful landscapes, perfect framing - his work totally stood out above the rest. While talking to him Dan was incredibly friendly, and he even knew a trick for taking photos of dogs (instead of saying their name, make a weird sound)! Shortly after the Bridal Bazaar we set up a meeting at Starbucks. He answered all of our questions and showed us example wedding albums. Bonus for us: He's also read the Lord of the Rings books, which was perfect for our Middle Earth wedding! Engagement Photos = Dan recommended a location that fit our checklist - we scouted it out and loved it. He was very easy to work with during the shoot. His positioning/posing instructions were easy to follow, which was very important because we know nothing! We brought along our dog (and one of my bridesmaids to help with the dog) and Dan knew exactly what to do to get great photos with our pupper. Unfortunately we got kicked out of the park because it was closing sooner than expected; I wish the shoot could've gone on longer but Dan was still able to get amazing photos. Wedding Day = Dan hadn't been to the venue before so he arrived early to scout it out. Dan and his second shooter were able to capture a variety of photos, all of them beautiful. Portraits, details, action shots, guests' happy faces, even food photos - so many gorgeous photos to choose from. There are some split-second shots that I am amazed he was able to capture AND they came out beautiful! Dan is very responsive via email and super easy to communicate with! He delivered everything on time (wedding photos took about 7.5 weeks). And his prices are incredibly reasonable!
