Your wedding hair should feel like you—beautiful, polished, and created to photograph from every angle. I’m Dan Sanchez, owner of Dan Sanchez Salon in Cypress, Texas, and I’ve spent more than 20 years creating hair for brides and wedding parties. My bridal career began on Maui in 2003, where destination weddings became a major part of my work. For years, I had the opportunity to work with brides coming to the islands from around the world. My career has taken me from the salon to destination weddings, editorial shoots and publications, throughout the Hawaiian Islands and to the mainland, including Los Angeles and New York. That experience taught me that wedding hair is about much more than creating a beautiful style. It has to work with the bride, the dress, the setting, the weather, the photography and the overall vision for the day. It also takes someone who understands wedding-day timing and can bring a calm, professional presence to a morning that can move very quickly. Today, I bring that experience to brides throughout Cypress, Houston and beyond. I offer both in-salon and on-location bridal hair, and I am available for travel and destination weddings throughout Texas, across the United States and beyond. Whether your wedding is close to home or requires me to get on a plane, I’m happy to discuss what it takes to be there. I work with brides as well as bridesmaids, mothers and other members of the wedding party. Whether your vision is a polished updo, soft romantic texture, Hollywood-inspired waves, braids, a classic bridal style or something completely your own, the goal is to create hair that complements you rather than overwhelms you. I am also English- and Spanish-speaking, which allows me to comfortably work with couples, families and wedding parties where either language—or both—may be spoken. Because I’m also an experienced salon owner and hairstylist, I can help with your hair well before the wedding day. Haircuts, color, highlights, corrective color, smoothing services, conditioning treatments and extensions can all be planned ahead so your hair is prepared for the style you envision. I know what an honor it is to be invited into someone’s wedding morning. After all these years, that part has never become routine to me. Every bride, every family and every wedding is different, and I want you to feel comfortable knowing your hair is in experienced hands.
