Even if there weren't any problems to solve, Dana her team was indispensable as they made sure every little detail was set the way I wanted and advised on million other things that I wouldn't know anything about (ex. how to hold your bouquet :D). Alas there were also problems to solve which to this day I am not privy to the details which shows how well Dana was at doing her job but I know she made sure the venue honored their promise to provide outdoor space for the ceremony which they by some reason thought was okay not to on the day-of and stepped in when my florist thought it was a good idea to leave the bouquets and boutonnieres at her shop instead of delivering them to the venue with the other arrangements. From the first call I knew Dana was filled with positive energy and on our wedding day she proved how fun and wonderful she was by keeping a huge smile on her face despite whatever was going on! In short you won't regret having Dana on your corner for your special day!

ry professional. I had two wedding a Yoruba traditional wedding , church and reception the day after. She called the month of more than once a week to help my husband and I connect the missing details dots together. When I started to get overwhelmed she talked me down. We had some scare with the church decor but Dana surprised me and totally came through. On both days she did not bother me at all, she handled all the holes on that day . My family members were really happy with her tremendous help during the Yoruba traditional wedding even though I did not give her enough brief about that particular day. Thank you so much Dana . at Day’s Desk. I was living in DC and trying to plan my NYC wedding while also working in a fast-paced job that has me on the road constantly. That’s when Dana swept in and made our wedding more beautiful than we could have imagined. After reaching out to a couple of different planners, Dana really stood out as she was the only one who asked to meet me at the church and reception hall where we wanted to marry. She wanted to see first-hand exactly what we'd be working with. That strong interest of hers never waned. The reception hall was very, very basic - a church hall with a basketball hoop(!!). Immediately, Dana had wonderful ideas for how we could transform the space into an elegant wedding venue. She ran a couple of ideas by me and we decided on just the look I wanted to achieve and she set about to create it - on a budget. She found solutions for every difficulty, quirk and constraint that comes with working in historic buildings - - and she really made it happen! Not only that but she was available to me around the clock. She took my never-ending questions and fears seriously and always gave me well thought-out solutions. She was acutely aware of our budget and worked constantly within our means to come up with creative ways we could achieve the look we wanted within our financial constraints. From start to finish, she made the planning process as easy and painless as possible for us. She has a tremendous understanding of the wedding business and knows many of the players in New York City. This adds to her ability to get things done. She took whatever time was necessary including weekends and evenings to meet with florists and vendors to knock the prices as low as she could. She was not only professional, but was someone who I knew was batting for us on all things - big and small- and for the best deal and services we could get. On the day of our wedding, everything was seamless and knowing she was in charge made me feel comfortable, confident, and at ease. My husband and I can’t trumpet Dana enough and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her for any event planning in the future.

She became like another 'Aunt' to me during the process and she will forever be like family to us. We highly recommend her team for any couples in need of wedding planning expertise!

The Day's Desk crew - that's who. Somehow, Dana managed to make me feel like I was the only bride-to-be in the world - never making me or my family feel like we came 2nd to anyone else. She truly cared, and continues to care, about us. The only thing I truly miss about all of the stress of planning my wedding is Dana. I can not recommend Day's Desk more highly.

When I first contacted Dana, one of the first things that struck out about her was her strong sense of commitment and eagerness. This is what you want in a wedding planner, especially if you are like me, and have no idea what you're doing. Dana was flexible in working with us. She also knew when to push us to actually start making decisions and working on the planning. Another thing that I liked about Dana is that she'll take your pinterest into consideration. None of the other wedding coordinators did this, so this was a bonus. She's also very very reasonably priced - a steal, considering that on the day of, she brought 3 other people to help out! 2 guys for the groom's team, and another lady for the bridal party. Dana also helped us in getting decorations, supplying some really nice votives and flowers free of charge for our cocktail hour. On the wedding day, she and her team worked non-stop. She was punctual, organized... no words can describe how fantastic she is. When groom and I had too much to drink (oops!) and was too out of it to help with clean up, etc., Dana and her team stepped right in. She made sure that my second dress was properly put on, fixed my hair, took care of my jewelry when I switched dresses, etc. She also made sure that our belongings all got back to us, even making sure we remembered to take our top piece of cake with us. Dana is truly truly amazing. For all the brides-to-be out there, work with Dana! She'll make your wedding day a dream come true!!!

month started. She was always available to us either by text or phone or FaceTime. We showed her who was responsible for what task, who to contact, how to place every item. They carried it out exactly how we pictured it. Quick on their feet they were, they handled unforeseen circumstances on the day of that I know if I had to deal with it myself I would have lost it. They saved our wedding reception, avoided what could have been a disaster. Everyone from their team was attentive, detail oriented, easy to work with, you just have to tell them once. e renewal was like a fairy tale, everything went smoothly, and was beautiful. We loved how hands-on, she was and involved throughout the entire process. Even chose a wonderful restaurant for us to dine in afterwards in celebration. The ceremony took place in Central Park, and it was amazing! She has excellent vendor recommendations and knows exactly what kind of ambiance and pacing we needed for our event and worked with the vendors to make sure our day was perfect.
