ur day, she listened to us and made sure our priority was to enjoy our wedding day while she captured the moments we’d cherish for a lifetime..and boy did she deliver. We were able to stay present in the moment while she was nearly everywhere all at once never missing a moment! The way she utilized the beauty of our venue and the backdrop of color to make our portraits pop was amazing. Truly every photo looking like a piece of art. On top of that, when we received our full album ( a week earlier than expected by the way) there were so many sweet candid moments she captured that we never knew about! What a gift it was to relive the day from so many different people’s perspectives. We truly can’t thank Dana enough and will be appreciating her talents as the photos she captured hang in our home for decades to come!

kind, and professional. She made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera, giving just the right amount of direction so we never felt awkward or unsure of what to do. Her efficiency and warm demeanor made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free. We had to reschedule our wedding last year at the last minute. Dana handled everything with such kindness, grace, and flexibility - something we will always be grateful for. We couldn’t be happier with how both our engagement and wedding photos turned out. Dana even surprised us less than a week after our wedding with some (over 200) of her favorites! Dana truly captured the spirit of our day, and we’ll cherish these memories forever. Highly recommend her to any couple looking for an incredibly talented and genuinely kind photographer!

dibly helpful checking the weather for us days in advance to let me know in case I needed to reschedule my hair and makeup appointments. She walked us through every step of the way both before, during, and after the shoot. She sent us helpful guides beforehand to read through so that we felt prepared for the shoot. She made the shoot so fun for both me and my fiance! Would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer!!

r professionalism and communication were superb and I would highly recommend her to any bride or family looking for a photographer!

s availability and willingness to accommodate our last-minute request were a lifesaver. During the event, Dana's photography skills were nothing short of exceptional. She captured the spirit and moments of the evening with creativity and precision. Her attention to detail and knack for candid shots added depth to the event's memories. We were thrilled with the final photos, which beautifully encapsulated the joy of the evening. Dana's professionalism and communication were also commendable, and she made the entire process seamless, despite the short notice. Her photographs told the story of our celebration with such artistry that we'll cherish them for a lifetime. If you're seeking a talented photographer who can work with you even on short notice, we wholeheartedly recommend Dana Cubbage. Her dedication and expertise shine through in her work, and she played a significant role in making our welcome party unforgettable.

n't a single person that had the gorgeous style Dana had. And as a photographer myself, I am super specific about the types of images I wanted for myself. Dana "got me" and we had a lot of fun together. And...I'm obsessed with my new head shots. Dana is fun and laid back to work with. She makes you feel at ease in front of the camera to create magazine-worthy images that still feel intimate. She has a style that celebrates sunshine and color. Her quick turnaround with the images was also a great bonus. Don't have a wedding unless Dana isn't your photographer!

the best decision I could have made! When I saw her profile, I knew she would be the perfect person to capture our special day. She took our engagement pictures and my bridal portraits as well, and every single picture turned out amazing. My jaw is STILL on the floor from the wedding album, which she got to us SO fast. We got attacked by mosquitos during the wedding party portraits, and you would never know! She had the best attitude and made everyone feel so comfortable in front of the camera. You don't think about how much time you spend with your photographer throughout your engagement and on your wedding day, but let me tell you, she is THE best person for the job. She knows what she is doing, is so much fun to be around, and is truly the best hype person. She knows where to be to capture the most special moments, kept us on time, and went above and beyond her role as a photographer to ensure everything was perfect. I am "that girl" who never likes how I look in pictures and makes everyone else re-do it a million times, but she knows exactly how to make sure everyone looks their best! She exceeded all expectations and I cannot recommend her enough!

on the day. My outdoor wedding had last-minute issues with rain showers, and I had a very large bridal party and family. Dana was calm, flexible, and supportive. She went above and beyond, and I could not imagine the day without her. 10/10 recommend hiring her!

l so comfortable while taking photos, makes everything so easy and seamless, and definitely reduces any stress you may have! What I love most about Dana's photos is how vibrant the colors are, she really knows how to make the landscape and colors pol. We are so fortunate that Dana was not only available to photograph our small Covid wedding on our original date, but also our rescheduled date. I can't imagine having anyone other than Dana to photograph our wedding!

essional and responds quickly. We cannot recommend her enough!

windy and she still managed to figure out ways to get the most beautiful photos! She was so wonderful to work with and just a joy to have around all day! She also got us our photos so quickly and we are obsessed with them! Her attention to detail is unmatched. She is worth every single penny we paid! The beautiful photos say it all!

ing day! She was incredibly organized and made our wedding day flow so smooth and even gave us our images before we even thought we would get them :) Her level of professionalism and promptness when it came to responding we valued very much. Most importantly, our photos we are still in AWE of, the way she fit the romantic/light/airy theme with the beautiful pops of color we were going for, we are very thankful! We can not recommend her enough as you truly will be in great hands -- thank you again Dana for everything!! <3

hat an amazing talent she is! Moments through out our day she was there making sure everything went smoothly! And even helped me bustle my dress! Just so many little moments I will hold onto. We’re truly grateful for her! And wish her the absolute best for her future! Five stars and more!

of the experience. Our wedding pictures were delivered to us much soon than we anticipated and we couldn’t be happier with the results. With Dana you have nothing to fear and are guaranteed a great experience.

nnot recommend her enough and we are so in love with our wedding photos!

able day of and worked with us on a schedule/timeframe, photo lists, etc. I ran a few things by her during the planning process (dress colors/schemes, lighting) and she replied with her best advice along with some photos similar to what I was trying to envision. Even after the wedding (almost 8 months now) and she's still just as responsive and professional as the day we met with her. Dana helped make our day a remarkable experience!

favorite people could all look so good! I highly highly recommend Dana for any and all occasions!

hat I had to have her for my own wedding! Dana was so incredible throughout the entire process. As a top wedding photographer in Charleston, she is extremely knowledgeable and very talented. Dana was very flexible, especially when we had to change our plans one month prior to our wedding due to COVID. In an extremely stressful time, Dana helped me feel reassured with all of our unexpected changes. We had a small family ceremony on our original date and Dana and her second shooter, Sloan, were there to document all of our special moments (including our amazing First Look). Dana and Sloan were there again 5 months later for our bigger celebration and we couldn’t have asked for anything more! We are absolutely in love with all of our engagement, elopement and wedding photos! We have received so many comments from friends and family on how gorgeous our photos are and how talented our photographer is. Dana pays great attention to all of the details and makes her bride and groom feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera. Our photos were ready very quickly and we were so excited to show them off! Choosing Dana to document our special day was the best decision ever!

She captured our special day(s)and our relationship beautifully and could not be happier with our photos! We were shocked by how fast we received our photos! Would 10/10 recommend to a friend!

ven think about photography. Dana was literally one of the most important and best decisions I made about my wedding day. Dana's attention to detail is exceptional. Her workflow is seamless and she kept us not only on time but running early. Her team is amazing and everyone brought such happy and amazing energy to our day. I am so so in love with our photos. She kept us feeling confident and happy while taking them and it shows in our images. Now that our wedding is over our photos are the most important component to our memories of the day and I could not love ours more. I am forever grateful for finding Dana. She was the first vendor I hired after getting engaged and I couldn't recommend her more!! She is truly the best investment you can make in your wedding day.

sionalism, empathy and flexibility as Dana Cubbage. Her attention to detail and focus on ensuring everything is captured perfectly is exactly what you want from your wedding photographer. Not to mention she is super fun! Being a COVID bride added a new level of stress to wedding planning and day of planning for a smaller scaled ceremony. I can say Dana took away that stress for me and was incredibly flexible and empathetic to my needs, she essentially stepped in as my day of coordinator. When sharing our wedding day photos, all our friends and family were blown away at the shots and could not get over how many amazing photos we had that it was impossible to pick favorites. What more could you ask for?

guidance from my wedding planner and that’s how I found Dana. And gosh am I glad I did. She knows exactly what needs to happen to get each shot, gives easy to understand instructions and pointers, and is just a genuinely nice and easy going person (which is a MUST on a frenzy wedding day.) I used her for both bridal portraits and wedding day and every single photo is beautiful. Dana is great about getting natural, classic photos. I wanted photos that looked like “us” and not over air-brushed or unnatural, and she nailed it! She also has an entire team of wonderful people with her on wedding day, Sloane in particular is also wonderful and made all of us feel at ease. We are so in love with every photo, Dana truly captured every emotion and moment from our day, and we’re so thankful!

great things to say about her and her team!

ni-mony in Charleston, and will be at our big postponed reception next year. Dana is SUCH a wonderful person to have around on your day (and leading up to it) - she's super fun, kind, talented, makes everything easy, and goes above and beyond to make everything perfect - whether it's personally moving floral arrangements to get the best shot, trekking across downtown NY in the rain to make sure the lighting is perfect, or connecting brides who have all been dealing with postponements and other similar issues/questions via Zoom happy hours, groups and more. And all that is not even mentioning her photos, which are stunning and truly capture the happiness of your day - joy that we could all use in 2020! Could not recommend Dana more for anything anyone is planning!!

son to do my engagement photos and my wedding photos, so I started my hunt early and found Dana through my wedding planner and the internet. When I visited her website, I immediately FELL IN LOVE with her talent and her pictures and knew I HAD to have her as my photographer. Well, behind the talent is an awesome, funny, laid back wonderful woman who loves to produce photos that are absolutely brilliant. I will be the first to say that neither myself nor my husband like to be in front of the camera much, but Dana has a way of making you feel comfortable in front of the camera and actually making it feel natural. I always thought I would dread taking pictures on my wedding day, but I actually loved it, and that was all thanks to her. The quality of her work is unparalleled, and even that is an understatement. My guests cannot stop commenting on the vibrant, beautiful colors of the day and the great candid photos of the reception. I am so grateful to her for perfectly capturing the big (and very small) details of the day that I was not able to pause and appreciate. I can now appreciate them forever thanks to her brilliant work. The first thing you should do for your wedding and for your memories is to hire this girl as your wedding photographer - it will be the best decision you make.

ails super quickly, answered my many, many questions and made us feel really special and excited about our wedding day. With Dana, you benefit from a number of great perks - a Facebook group full of other DCW brides, her personalized vendor recommendations, a blog full of amazing advice and ideas, etc. Through the entire planning process, I was 100% confident that Dana was the right person for the job and would deliver us amazing images. On wedding day, Dana and her crew arrived early and instantly got to work. They are all so professional and it's very clear they know what they're doing. But they are also just plain fun to have around - even my groom and his groomsmen loved hanging with Sloan! The whole team made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Neither of us are big fans of having our photos taken, and Dana and co. made us feel like models. We loved it! Dana made the process of getting all of the formal, posed photos so easy and stress-free. We got the link to our full wedding gallery less than a month after the wedding and we are THRILLED with the photos. To say they are perfect is an understatement - they are breathtaking. So many people have randomly stopped me at work or messaged me on Facebook just to say how amazing our wedding pictures were. I truly could not recommend Dana and her team highly enough - I am so thankful we chose DCW for our day!

e along. We flew into town a year in advance, met her at her favorite taco joint and we knew she was the one! My family and bridal party still rave about her fun personality, she is so great and easy to work with all while still giving direction. Dana makes you feel so comfortable, even during the ugly tears! THANK GOD we listened to her and did a 1st look, it’s an emotional moment that I think every bride and groom cherishes, this is the moment Dana tells the groom to turn around and she does her thing without saying any other word, yet she makes you feel all of the good feels! Our pictures really capture every emotion, Dana and her great team follow and guide you from the beginning of the day to the very end. Dana is the best and easiest decision we’ve made!

ou feel comfortable and have fun, all while paying close attention to small details in every shot. She truly cares about her couples! When we met her for our engagement photos downtown, she made sure to set the time to fit perfectly with getting the best lighting of the day for the shots. She instantly knew exactly where to go, picking out the most beautiful alleys, door steps, and street corners. Our engagement photos turned out amazing! As she knows every couple is anxious to get their photos, she is quick with return time! It was one of the best decisions to have her work with us for our engagement photos because by the time of our wedding we already knew she was going to do an outstanding job. On the morning of our wedding, Dana arrived on time and ready to go with her team of assistants. She loves all of the details and doesn't miss a single thing. One of the most important aspects of her talent is that she takes all of these stunning pictures without realizing she is right next to you. She spent the entire day by our sides from start to finish, not missing a single detail. All of our wedding party raved about her, she was funny, passionate, talented, and professional. The day of our wedding was hot so she knew that getting the pictures done in a quick time was essential! We can't thank Dana enough for capturing our memories that will last a lifetime. Dana is everything you are looking for in a photographer! If you are considering hiring Dana for your engagement shoot, do not hesitate to do so - she is the BEST in the entire industry.

hotographer. We did a couple engagement shots prior to getting married and Dana was so fun to work with. She made the whole experience so easy and relaxed. On the actual wedding day, Dana was such a blessing to us. A huge storm came through while we were suppose to be taking our first look photos and she made us feel calm. She even had an umbrella that made one of our wedding photos amazing. My friends and family all loved her too! Seriously, my friends can't stop talking about how much they liked her and the photos. My husband loved our shoots so much as well. I definitely recommend doing an engagement shoot because we felt very prepared to take photos on our wedding day. The day goes by so fast and with her experience, we got all the photos we wanted. I am so happy that we had her and her team with us on the biggest day of our lives. I cannot say enough about her!

ason - and we are in complete awe of the photos she took! Not only did we have a blast during our photo session, but Dana had a quick turnaround time for photos and we cannot stop looking at them! We would absolutely recommend Dana Cubbage Weddings!!

Dana. Dana is a phenomenal photographer with a sharp eye and knows both how to put us all at ease and also how to capture us. If there were 10 stars then that's how I'd really rate her.

made us feel more comfortable, relaxed and at ease in what could have otherwise felt like awkward/stilted moments. She is a photographer who is truly able to capture the emotions of the moment - her photographs are candid and beautiful. I really appreciated how on top of all of it Dana was, both on our wedding day and in the days and weeks leading up to it. She was almost like a photographer doubling as a coordinator because she was so prepared and professional, and had planned out the day down to the detail so that we didn't have to worry about a thing. We are not native to Charleston, so it was even more appreciated that she could navigate the venue like a pro. She was a dream to work with and we love the outstanding pictures she produced!

he best at what she does. She helps you to create a timeline for your entire wedding day, from getting ready to your final exit. She is not like many others in the area who charge by hour- she is there for you all day long! Her timeline takes away a ton of stress from what could be a very busy and stressful day. Our wedding party (even the groomsmen!) really appreciated how easy she was to work with. As someone who doesn't spend much time in front of the camera, she is clear and concise with her directions when it comes to posing and placement. She made my husband and I feel SO comfortable throughout every situation. I'd highly highly recommend her to any Charleston area brides!

very moment while maintaining her calming personality, she’s quick, returning clean, crisp photos within weeks after our wedding day! We cannot thank Dana enough for all she does!

ith. She was so much fun to spend the day of with as well and made us feel like pros when taking all of the pictures. Dana was so flexible, so helpful and above all took amazing shots of our day! We are so grateful she was such a huge part of this day for us and I recommend her to any one and every one. There's not enough space for me to even list all of the ways she made our wedding day even more special.

to shoot our first look and bridal/family photos. We really could not be more pleased with our wedding pictures, and we have received so many compliments on them! She captured the best memories and made the whole experience just wonderful!! Her prices are very reasonable and her work is flawless!! She is also super quick getting your pictures back to you! We were able to see them within a couple of weeks after the wedding, which was so fun. I promise you will not be disappointed with Dana and her team!!
