We loved working with Dana for our engagement shoot! Our pictures came out amazing! We had to reschedule our shoot a couple times due to weather and she was so easy going and incredibly helpful checking the weather for us days in advance to let me know in case I needed to reschedule my hair and makeup appointments. She walked us through every step of the way both before, during, and after the shoot. She sent us helpful guides beforehand to read through so that we felt prepared for the shoot. She made the shoot so fun for both me and my fiance! Would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer!!

Dana is phenomenal. I have followed her work for years. I searched for a photographer where I live in NC to take updated headshots of me for my photography business. There just wasn't a single person that had the gorgeous style Dana had. And as a photographer myself, I am super specific about the types of images I wanted for myself. Dana "got me" and we had a lot of fun together. And...I'm obsessed with my new head shots. Dana is fun and laid back to work with. She makes you feel at ease in front of the camera to create magazine-worthy images that still feel intimate. She has a style that celebrates sunshine and color. Her quick turnaround with the images was also a great bonus. Don't have a wedding unless Dana isn't your photographer!

I've been putting off writing this review because I cannot find the words that adequately express how amazing Dana is. She was the very first vendor I hired when I got engaged, and the best decision I could have made! When I saw her profile, I knew she would be the perfect person to capture our special day. She took our engagement pictures and my bridal portraits as well, and every single picture turned out amazing. My jaw is STILL on the floor from the wedding album, which she got to us SO fast. We got attacked by mosquitos during the wedding party portraits, and you would never know! She had the best attitude and made everyone feel so comfortable in front of the camera. You don't think about how much time you spend with your photographer throughout your engagement and on your wedding day, but let me tell you, she is THE best person for the job. She knows what she is doing, is so much fun to be around, and is truly the best hype person. She knows where to be to capture the most special moments, kept us on time, and went above and beyond her role as a photographer to ensure everything was perfect. I am "that girl" who never likes how I look in pictures and makes everyone else re-do it a million times, but she knows exactly how to make sure everyone looks their best! She exceeded all expectations and I cannot recommend her enough!

Dana was FABULOUS. I cherish our photos and I have received so many compliments on them. Not only is her work beautiful, but she is a fun and experienced photographer to work with on the day. My outdoor wedding had last-minute issues with rain showers, and I had a very large bridal party and family. Dana was calm, flexible, and supportive. She went above and beyond, and I could not imagine the day without her. 10/10 recommend hiring her!

Dana was everything we could have asked for in a photographer! I knew from the minute we started talking that she was going to be the perfect photographer for us. She makes you feel so comfortable while taking photos, makes everything so easy and seamless, and definitely reduces any stress you may have! What I love most about Dana's photos is how vibrant the colors are, she really knows how to make the landscape and colors pol. We are so fortunate that Dana was not only available to photograph our small Covid wedding on our original date, but also our rescheduled date. Dana is amazing! Just the right amount of communication through the months/days leading up to the wedding. On the day of, she did anything and everything I wanted of her. We had Dana for both our engagement shoot and our wedding. During both sessions she put me and my husband at ease. She gave us direction on how to pose and took the guess work out of the experience. Dana is absolutely amazing!! My husband and I are so incredibly lucky to have had Dana as our photographer. Dana photographed several of my friends’ weddings and I knew instantly that I had to have her for my own wedding! Dana was so incredible throughout the entire process. When it comes to your wedding photos you don't want just anyone there to capture life's most important moments. You will not find a wedding photographer with as much talent, professionalism, empathy and flexibility as Dana Cubbage. Her attention to detail and focus on ensuring everything is captured perfectly is exactly what you want from your wedding photographer. Not to mention she is super fun! Being a COVID bride added a new level of stress to wedding planning and day of planning for a smaller scaled ceremony. I can say Dana took away that stress for me and was incredibly flexible and empathetic to my needs, she essentially stepped in as my day of coordinator. When sharing our wedding day photos, all our friends and family were blown away at the shots and could not get over how many amazing photos we had that it was impossible to pick favorites. What more could you ask for?

Picking a photographer is stressful... all you hear from friends and family is that “these pictures are forever”, so I did A LOT of research and Instagram deep dives plus had great guidance from my wedding planner and that’s how I found Dana. And gosh am I glad I did. She knows exactly what needs to happen to get each shot, gives easy to understand instructions and pointers, and is just a genuinely nice and easy going person (which is a MUST on a frenzy wedding day.) I used her for both bridal portraits and wedding day and every single photo is beautiful. Dana is great about getting natural, classic photos. I wanted photos that looked like “us” and not over air-brushed or unnatural, and she nailed it! She also has an entire team of wonderful people with her on wedding day, Sloane in particular is also wonderful and made all of us feel at ease. We are so in love with every photo, Dana truly captured every emotion and moment from our day, and we’re so thankful!

Dana Cubbage was wonderful! She took our engagement pictures and wedding pictures. She was great at giving lots of helpful tips and suggesting other vendors. There are not enough great things to say about her and her team!

We are so, so thankful to have found Dana as our wedding photographer! Not only did she travel to NYC to take our engagement photos, but she also photographed our COVID-friendly mini-mony in Charleston, and will be at our big postponed reception next year. Dana is SUCH a wonderful person to have around on your day (and leading up to it) - she's super fun, kind, talented, makes everything easy, and goes above and beyond to make everything perfect - whether it's personally moving floral arrangements to get the best shot, trekking across downtown NY in the rain to make sure the lighting is perfect, or connecting brides who have all been dealing with postponements and other similar issues/questions via Zoom happy hours, groups and more. And all that is not even mentioning her photos, which are stunning and truly capture the happiness of your day - joy that we could all use in 2020! Could not recommend Dana more for anything anyone is planning!!

From the get go, I knew that photography was one of the most important parts of my wedding day to me. The day only lasts the day, but the photos last forever. I wanted the same person to do my engagement photos and my wedding photos, so I started my hunt early and found Dana through my wedding planner and the internet. When I visited her website, I immediately FELL IN LOVE with her talent and her pictures and knew I HAD to have her as my photographer. Well, behind the talent is an awesome, funny, laid back wonderful woman who loves to produce photos that are absolutely brilliant. I will be the first to say that neither myself nor my husband like to be in front of the camera much, but Dana has a way of making you feel comfortable in front of the camera and actually making it feel natural. I always thought I would dread taking pictures on my wedding day, but I actually loved it, and that was all thanks to her. The quality of her work is unparalleled, and even that is an understatement. My guests cannot stop commenting on the vibrant, beautiful colors of the day and the great candid photos of the reception. I am so grateful to her for perfectly capturing the big (and very small) details of the day that I was not able to pause and appreciate. I can now appreciate them forever thanks to her brilliant work. The first thing you should do for your wedding and for your memories is to hire this girl as your wedding photographer - it will be the best decision you make.

Dana is, hands down, the best wedding photographer in the biz. Her work is absolutely stunning! From day one, Dana was an amazing vendor to work with. She responded to all of my emails super quickly, answered my many, many questions and made us feel really special and excited about our wedding day. With Dana, you benefit from a number of great perks - a Facebook group full of other DCW brides, her personalized vendor recommendations, a blog full of amazing advice and ideas, etc. Through the entire planning process, I was 100% confident that Dana was the right person for the job and would deliver us amazing images. On wedding day, Dana and her crew arrived early and instantly got to work. They are all so professional and it's very clear they know what they're doing. But they are also just plain fun to have around - even my groom and his groomsmen loved hanging with Sloan! The whole team made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Neither of us are big fans of having our photos taken, and Dana and co. made us feel like models. We loved it! Dana made the process of getting all of the formal, posed photos so easy and stress-free. We got the link to our full wedding gallery less than a month after the wedding and we are THRILLED with the photos. To say they are perfect is an understatement - they are breathtaking. So many people have randomly stopped me at work or messaged me on Facebook just to say how amazing our wedding pictures were. I truly could not recommend Dana and her team highly enough - I am so thankful we chose DCW for our day!

I cannot even put into words how talented and incredible Dana is! Living in Chicago, my husband and I were very nervous hiring someone for our Charleston wedding, but then Dana came along. We flew into town a year in advance, met her at her favorite taco joint and we knew she was the one! Our pictures really capture every emotion, Dana and her great team follow and guide you from the beginning of the day to the very end. Dana is the best and easiest decision we’ve made!

We are so thankful to have had the opportunity to work with Dana for both our engagement photos and wedding! We are so fortunate that we had Dana as our wedding photographer! There is something about her photography style that drew us in immediately and we knew we had to have her as our photographer. We did a couple engagement shots prior to getting married and Dana was so fun to work with. She made the whole experience so easy and relaxed. On the actual wedding day, Dana was such a blessing to us. A huge storm came through while we were suppose to be taking our first look photos and she made us feel calm. An intimate Charleston elopement with just our two adult children, a minister and a historic Charleston courtyard....all we needed was a stellar photographer and we lucked out with Dana. Dana is extremely talented, and she was so much fun to work with!! Having her there felt like you were inviting a good friend to your wedding. We are not native to Charleston, so it was even more appreciated that she could navigate the venue like a pro. She was a dream to work with and we love the outstanding pictures she produced!

Dana came to Savannah, GA for our wedding in December, and she even came down prior to the wedding day to scout out the perfect places to shoot our first look and bridal/family photos. I do not think I could have chosen a better wedding photographer than Dana Cubbage! Our photos were perfect! Everything from the engagement photos, bridal portraits, and wedding photos were perfection! Dana is so easy to work with and is very organized! Her attention to detail is what caught my eye when I was searching for a wedding photographer. She is the absolute best!

My friend hired Dana to shoot her wedding and raved about her experience, so when we decided to also get married in Charleston we went to her immediately to secure the date and luckily she was available. We first asked her to shoot our engagement photos and I'm so happy we did - not only did we get amazing photos to use on our save the dates and website, but it was invaluable to see how she works and she really helped my nervous now-husband get comfortable in front of the camera. He was dreading it going in and afterword said "That wasn't bad at all!" LOL. Dana worked really well with our planner and other vendors up to and on our big day, working collaboratively to create our timeline - would say that is a huge plus for her, because it made everything seamless for us. On the day of, she and her other shooters were amazing at making everyone feel comfortable, picking out the best settings and timing. She loves dogs and she got some amazing shots of our puppy Rusty and the wedding party. Finally - after the wedding she posted a great picture immediately (great instant gratification) and she turned around a blog post with photo highlights in a week, and the full gamut of photos in just a few weeks more. Her photo sharing and storage was also very easy to navigate. We loved Dana both as a photographer and person - would highly recommend!

Dana is amazing!! At the time my fiancé and I decided that we did not want engagement pictures so I had only spoke with Dana on the phone once and emailed back and forth a couple of times. We are not local to Charleston so I did not actually meet her until my wedding day. She was wonderful from the moment we met while my girls and I were getting ready. She is very organized and obviously knows exactly what she is doing. Dana made my husband and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera and kept us laughing the whole time. Her second photographer and assistant were great too. We got our pictures back so fast and they were incredible, I am OBSESSED! We highly recommend Dana for your big day!

Dana Cubbage is amazing! We used her as our photographer for our wedding a month ago and couldn't be happier with the decision. Dana was seriously one of the best decisions I made for our wedding!! She was so fun, sweet and professional and came so prepared! WOW. I don't even know where to begin! I knew before I even spoke with Dana that I wanted her as my wedding photographer. I mean, just take a look at all of her photos, they are absolutely incredible! After speaking with her over the phone, I was sold! She's SO sweet! We had an engagement session with her around the downtown area. I, like a lot of people, get super nervous having pictures taken of myself! My husband obviously wasn't too thrilled about the idea either, haha! We set out and it was SO fun! Seriously, she makes you feel fabulous and comfortable out there! Dana is one of the most talented individuals I have ever had the pleasure of working with. When we were looking for a photographer for my daughters wedding, I flipped through all the wedding magazines. Every time a particular photographers work caught my eye, it was Dana's photos. Dana is INCREDIBLE! Not only are her photos stunning (which you can tell from her gallery), but she is so fun and easy to work with! Dana always responds to emails right away. She has a wonderful personality, and great sense of humor, which made our engagement photos and wedding day even better. And, Dana got our photos back to us super quick! I decided to book Dana for my wedding a year in advance, and I'm so glad I did! When deciding on other vendors, I would ask Dana if she had ever worked with them (and she has worked with just about everyone)- I always felt like Dana would give me her honest opinion on other wedding pros.
