Dana Gualco Photography

d got married in Hopland. Even with the travel cost, Dana was much more affordable than most photographers in the Bay Area, especially for the quality of photographer that Dana is. Our first meeting was at our engagement photos. I instantly liked Dana. She was easy going and friendly. She was communicative and available for questions or ideas throughout the whole process. During the wedding, she faced less than ideal circumstances, it was windy and it was bright! But she handled it all well and our pictures turned out amazing. I especially appreciated how flexible and up for anything Dana was. We really wanted an opportunity to get professional photos with all our guests and so we had a couch that we sat on while guests cycled through behind us for posed pictures and those ended up being some of my favorite shots. Even with the wind, she set up some of the details (like our place settings that kept blowing away) just to capture them for us. Half the time, I didn't even notice she was there. I had told her that I did not want to be pulled away for photos for a long period of time because being present with my guests was important to me, so we opted for a first look and then two mini sessions spaced out throughout the day, one with extended family immediately after the ceremony and one with just my husband and I after dinner. I am so glad that Dana was recommended to me! She is truly an artist and I would be happy to work with her again in the future!
