We highly recommend her for anyone looking for an easy-to-work with photographer with a great artistic eye for capturing the intimacy and importance of the memories you're making with your partner. We appreciated her flexibility, our back and forth on developing the look and feel of the photography, and just having the ability to rely on her great taste to help us make our own decisions.

Not only were the pictures excellent, but she seemed genuinely excited and happy to be there which was contagious and helped make picture taking extra fun and stress-free. We hired Dana Kae for our boudoir, engagement, and wedding photography, in that order, after reviewing her portfolio, and could not be happier that we did. We were surprised with how much fun we had during the boudoir photoshoot and how much at ease we felt, all courtesy of Dana's efforts. She was clearly enjoying the work and made it look easy. We loved the pictures - she saw a side of us that we have not seen before and allowed us to see ourselves in different light - hot, fun, and playful when we are usually exhausted from overworking and stressed out. For the engagement photoshoot that immediately followed, she managed to catch the perfect color of the sky after sunset over the mountains and lake, and the pictures look like a fairytale. For our wedding, Dana was more than a photographer, but also doubled as a part-time wedding-planner (we did not have one). Since we were a bit lost about how to organize the schedule, she kindly put one together for us, and it worked perfectly. The pictures were very different from the boudoir and engagement shoots but perfectly captured the joy and love of the day and the personalities of our guests. We cannot recommend Dana more both as a photographer, a logistics specialist, and a wonderful human being that sees and brings out beauty and the best in everyone around her, and then manages to capture it with her camera.

Dana was the photographer for our September wedding and did an absolutely amazing job. Dana has such a warm and friendly personality that made everybody feel comfortable. She was also professional, always punctual, and accommodating to what we were looking for. The pictures turned out better than I could have imagined and I feel so lucky that Dana was there to capture our wedding day. Would recommend 10000%!

I love Dana! I have loved her work for years - she used to photograph events for my company and took the headshot that I still use, so I did not hesitate to hire her for our wedding! I think we had one call before the wedding and then she just showed up on time ready to go! What you don't realize until your wedding day is that your photographer is part of your entourage - so you want someone who you enjoy being around, that makes you comfortable, and will give you good feedback to make you look your sexiest - Dana is all of the above! Dana is the sweetest person ever! Takes the time to talk with you and answer your questions! Made us feel very comfortable, especially my husband who doesn't like taking photos. The photos came out looking great! A lot of our photos look very similar, but that is not her fault; we had a very small courthouse wedding and we took photos outside (nearby was a trail with greenery), so there wasn't a lot of options with scenery/background. Overall, Dana is great!

So nice we hired her twice! Dana was a true pleasure to work with and was so fun to hang out with on our special day. Dana Kae was the only vendor at our wedding that was outside our personal network and found online, so we were a little apprehensive. But we didn't need to be. Dana took amazing photos of us and our guests, and never imposed herself or made the moment about the picture. Dana was such a wonderful addition to our wedding dream team. I found her via The Knot and was drawn to her use of both light and dark composition, and her ability to capture beautiful candid's. She was professional and somehow EVERYwhere but blended in at all times. She captured intimate moments, memorized connections of guests and wedding party to bride and groom, and delivered a stunning and vast set of pictures that bring us right back to our wedding day every time. 15/10 would work with her again!!

Dana photographed our intimate wedding in May and I am so happy with our photos! They're the best mix of emotional, goofy, loving, and straight up fun. Although Dana is the only photographer I've ever worked with (so can't compare her to anyone else), I've thoroughly enjoyed working with her and plan to have her document many more moments in my life! I booked her on super short notice for my courthouse wedding, and then later for a private photo shoot. Both times, in addition to doing a beautiful job, she was super easy to work with: she makes you feel really comfortable and is also a great listener when it came to my your input!

She was wonderful! We got married during the pandemic and had to dramatically shift our plans. She was so open and compassionate as we tried to figure it out. We ended up with a tiny (6 of us total including Dana) in our backyard. I am SO grateful for these photos, especially during this hard but joyful time!

Working with Dana for our wedding was a pleasure. We had a casual wedding at City Hall with a reception after; Dana captured the day perfectly. I remember crying with joy when we first saw them! I am not someone who is generally comfortable with getting their picture taken. With Dana my nerves were quickly erased and being photographed felt easy and natural. It was just like hanging out with family. Her calm go-with-the-flow personality made it easy to enjoy what was happening in the moment. Our posed shots were easy, fun and beautiful, but those candid moments that she captured are priceless. There were some truly hilarious moments that we never would have known about! When our wedding album finally arrived, I cried. It was so beautiful and it brought back all of those lovely memories. In addition to our album, we also ordered a large framed print of my husband and my favorite private moment by the rose hedge on the property. It hangs proudly in our living room and as cheesey as it may sound, it brings me so much joy every time I see it. Working with Dana was a true pleasure. Her responses were always timely, considerate, and concise. Her quality of work and attention to details were jawdropping. But what solidified her amazingness was she made a stressful day easy, enjoyable, and relaxing for everyone. And as a bride who planned the whole day on her own, Dana was exactly the person I needed to capture it all. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer to capture our day.

Dana was incredible from start to finish. We were planning our wedding from across the country so we needed someone who would be able to communicate well over email and phone. Dana was super responsive, and even set up a time to meet with us while we were in town, allowing us to make a plan for the day of. On the day of, Dana was all the things you would want a photographer to be: meticulously organized, seemingly everywhere (but in an unintrusive way), and so calming to both me and my partner. When shooting a group, she can manage personalities well and when shooting the couple, she'll put you at ease and get the shots that you really want. And y'all, the pictures are amazing. The work on her website are representative, but I can't begin to tell you how much better it is to see the full gallery she sent us. It was magical. Words can't express how amazing Dana was. She added absolutely no stress to the entire day. She listens but also adds her style, which is incredible. She also fixed the dress of my bride in the parking lot of the train station. She knows Seattle like the back of her hand to suggest fun photo locations also.

A very informative and thoughtful consultation set the tone for the entire experience. Dana took beautiful photos in all the ways we requested and snagged the most touching moments we would have otherwise missed. She helped us stay on track and never got in the way. Our photos were expertly edited and we received them in a month! We have already recommended her to other couples. I only wish I had gotten boudoir photos from her before the wedding!
