ivies. 5 stars for esthetics and good! The 2 stars come in at the service we received the day of. Our wedding was 5 months ago in August during the hottest most humid week. Supposedly the AC was broken 24 hours before our wedding. The event coordinator was very well aware, but had “hopes” that it would be fixed just in time... action was not immediately taken. As a result we had no AC in the reception with nearly 100 people. The dance floor was empty and guests left hours early. My grandma almost passed out from heat exhaustion. It was absolutely devisitating. The thing as a bride that I looked the most forward to was dancing with our family and friends all night long. We had guests from other countries and from the east coast. It was quite embarrassing and I still feel that way today, (especially after friends were talking about it yesterday...) I really wished that the event cordonator would have acted and found a solutions at 11am when she first heard that the AC was broken. Spending over 10k and having that experience was a total bummer. Luckily they comped our alcohol and made it right be reimbursing us for the venue rental fees. But just some advice, if anything feels off please DO NOT rely on the event coordinator to take action and make t right. They finally rolled in portable AC units 30 minutes before the reception, which didn’t have an effect at all. I don’t understand why they didn’t do that at 11am!? It was rough considering cocktail hour was outside in the hot 90 degree weather we had that day. I just wanted to share our experience so nobody else goes through something like this on one of their most special days.

ff. We started working with Danielle shortly after booking the venue and she was amazing to work with from the start. She always made sure we had everything on track and helped answer our questions anytime we had them throughout the planning process. The venue comes with a lot of included items and vendors, and we were happy with everything and everyone we worked with. We honestly cannot say enough great things about Danielle, she made the planning process easier on us and was so helpful. The Yacht club provides all the food and drinks, and everything was great and ran so smoothly. We had a buffet and had an open bar. The food was delicious and our guests for our wedding of 100 people never had to wait longer than a few minutes for a drink, even after the rush to the bar after the ceremony. The pricing for this venue is reasonable considering everything that was included. If you are on the fence about this venue, I would say that it is absolutely worth a look. The views are beyond beautiful and there many rooms at this venue to have your wedding and or reception .We will always be beyond grateful to Danielle and the entire staff for making our day beyond a dream.

From the moment we first looked at the venue online, to emailing Danielle and setting an appointment, to touring the venue, phone calls, emails, the menu tasting, and everything in between, we were blown away. Danielle was fantastic throughout the entire process and we are so happy we chose the Yacht Club for our wedding reception. The day was perfect and it's all thanks to this incredible venue and people who work there. Danielle is easy to work with, timely in her responses and truly provides the best customer service. She answered all of our questions, big or small and accommodated my husband and I with our budget and vision. She made the wedding planning process easy and fun and worked seamlessly with our day-of wedding coordinator too. The Yacht Club really is a hidden gem and you can beat the "all inclusive" package options including; valet, gold chavari chairs, gold charger plates, champagne toast, cake cutting services, and the list goes on! Do yourself a favor and book your event here, you won't be disappointed!!

ry little detail was taken care of and nothing was overlooked. She even went into the bathroom with me and helped me figure out how to pin my 15-point (!) bustle on my dress! She also had all of our belongings waiting for us the next day when we picked up the leftover cake and flowers. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful, classy yet laid back wedding venue in the SoCal area.

oast, so planning a wedding 3000 miles away was a bit stressful, but Danielle was able to answer all our questions and keep our mind at ease. The club is so relaxed and does not have the same strict rules as some other venues we researched. We were able to have candles out on the table and customize our menu and drinks without feeling like we were being nickel and dimed for everything. You definitely get a lot for the amount you spend here in relation to the venues in the area. We were able to extend our reception until 1:30am with a small fee and had no issues with any noise restraints (we had a 7 piece band perform; Pop Vinyl from San Diego... AMAZING!!) .

The bartenders were gems as well as the valet and everything went so smoothly. Then there is Danielle, she is an amazing person who is great at what she does. I was so nervous to begin the process of booking a venue but Danielle made everything so incredibly easy. She listened to my thoughts and ideas and didn't hate me when I changed my mind five times. She even went out of her way to help decorate our sweetheart table. I can't say enough about her and if anyone is thinking of booking this venue then they need to just set up an appointment and go!

f the highlights was the staff at the Yacht club. The wedding/event cooridnator Danielle was amazing! She went above and beyond and made our day extra special. The bartender David was also great. I would highly recommend this location for your wedding. Thanks Danielle for making our wedding everything we wanted!!!

. The harbor was beautiful with the holiday lights and it was the first night of the boat parade. There were many comments from our guests about what a special location it is. Danielle Hunt is a joy to work with. She has so many ideas, is great with detail, making sure everything is perfect for your event, and very efficient. She always responded quickly to my emails or phone calls to answer any questions we had. The food was excellent and the chef & staff accommodated our special requests. I would highly recommend The Dana Point Yacht Club for any event. We had a fabulous time.
