We actually had our photography contract through a national company, but wanted to rate Dana specifically because she was phenomenal.
Dana was absolutely fabulous from start to...
finish! She was fun and very professional. She came with plenty of ideas and took our ideas as well. She jumped right in and most of the time I didn't even know she was there, it felt so natural. Everyone who sees our photos remarks how well she captured the vibe of the day, our relationship and our personalities. Our wedding party were also a bunch of crazies, and she captured the fun and the joy everyone was experiencing in a true photojournalistic style. I actually can't stop obsessing over all the wonderful shots we have. Both on the day of, and in the finished product she far exceeded our expectations and we would absolutely recommend her to anyone.
Dana was the best photographer! It turned out we have a lot of mutual friends (which is how we found out about her) and we developed a friendship throughout the course of planning ...
and the wedding itself. My husband and I were able to negotiate a photo package (time and prints) that worked well for us price-wise and for her. She was a pleasure to work with; she was great with the guests (read: not awkward - really knows how to get candid shots!). I love her photojournalistic style. She did a great job working with the natural lighting and shade. We got the pictures so quickly after the wedding - none of those horror stories of waiting six months! If you are in the DC area, I highly recommend working with Dana!!

ch the right moment at the right time. I wasn't interested in a lot of set up shots and she was flexible and fun to work with. I highly recommend her.
