I have absolutely no words to convey how incredible Dana is. We flew her to Chicago for our wedding after having experienced her artistry when she shot my brothers wedding. Her personality is hysterical and engaging, she is passionate, and kind, and makes 30000 hours of taking photos feel fun for everyone. Not to mention she is quite literally the most talented photographer I’ve ever had the honor of working with. Our photos were incredibly important to us, so we knew we could only hire the best. I’ve not even seen the pictures, and my review is still this strong. Stop looking and just hire her. It’ll be the best decision you make for your big day.

AMAZING does not even begin to describe Dana and her team. In what was a whirlwind of emotion and chaos on my wedding day Dana stayed not only cool, calm and on her A- GAME, but kept everyone close to tears laughing ALL day long (seriously adult diapers may be necessary). This is an investment you will not regret-no matter what the occasion, but ESPECIALLY on your wedding day. Her spunky attitude and commitment to capturing the love and beauty that fills the air on your wedding day will leave you at ease. Seriously people- Trust should be her middle name because I don't think I could have trusted anyone more with my wedding photos! Oh and not to mention the results are FLAWLESS. I just hope all my friends and family choose Dana Widman photography so I can A.) hangout with her more because she actually rocks and B.) Continue to see the amazing art she creates capturing life's most precious moments.

Dana did both our engagement photos and wedding photos and she has gone above and beyond what we expected. While we were researching photographers we were first drawn to Dana due to her impressive artistic skills, which in itself were enough to convince us, but after getting to know Dana and doing our photos with her we can't speak enough to her contagious energetic spirit as well. You don't realize until the day of your wedding how much time you spend with your photographer, and with our wedding day ending up being one of the hottest (if not the hottest) days of the summer my husband said over and over that we were SO lucky to have Dana as our photographer! Dana not only captured dramatically gorgeous photos but made the experience of it all more than we could have imagined. She knows just what to say to make you feel energized and beautiful all day (and help you pose if you need it, which we did) while still encouraging you to bask in the beauty of the moments and soak it in. Our wedding party and family loved the experience as well and we heard numerous comments of how she was the best photographer they had ever seen. She has an amazing eye to capture beautiful moments and amazing lighting, is incredibly detailed, and takes personal ownership in making sure she creates a beautiful experience and photos for you. We can't recommend Dana enough-she's the best!
