We had a wonderful experience with Dana’s Cake Shop for my daughter’s wedding this August. The cake was both beautiful and delicious! I highly recommend them. We also ordered cupcakes, and they were just as tasty. Despite coordinating with them from Asia while I was traveling, they were always responsive and accommodating. We enjoyed a fun cake tasting at their charming shop, where they presented us with a dozen flavors—all of which were so good, it was hard to choose! Dana was a pleasure to work with for our wedding this past year! We had a two tiered cake and a cupcake assortment to complement it and the flavor profiles we had were amazing. We took the snickerdoodle cupcake concept as a tier of the cake and it came out spectacularly. The other tier was composed of a marble cake with a delicious buttercream. We used Dana’s for our wedding cake and it turned out fantastic! We ordered our 2 layered wedding cake from Dana. We are happy with the taste, and believe it or not, we had no extra cake to take home after the wedding. Our tasting experience was really fun. Most delicious and beautiful wedding cake we could have asked for! We had a 3-tiered, 2-flavored cake (marbled chocolate and lemon lavender), and we received many comments from guests that it was the most moist and scrumptious cake they’ve had at a wedding! Not too sweet, just right! Dana was very responsive throughout the process and even delivered and decorated the cake herself, which we didn’t expect! A+ service, would highly recommend!!

Used this adorable shop to do my wedding cake (Tier 2) and cake pops! We did red velvet and lemon lavender for the tiers. Dana was so nice to make us the lemon lavender flavoring after hearing how we wanted to incorporate our theme of lavender into the cake! Dana baked our wedding cake and cupcakes! It was such a pleasure working with her and her team. She answered all of my questions and provided great information when I was trying to figure out our wedding cake/desserts. The flavors were absolutely amazing; she even accommodated an egg allergy and baked/packaged separate cupcakes for my mom. Dana was a dream to work with. We hadn't bought a wedding cake before, and she had some ideas coming in to help us get the wheels turning. The tasting was very casual but very thorough, and she was very helpful as we finalized our vision. The end result was absolutely gorgeous, and it tasted delicious. We had no idea cake flavors could have such a rich variety. She had almond, which my husband absolutely adored. The vegan cupcakes were greatly appreciated so we could accommodate our guests and still give them a delicious cupcake.

From the first taste test, we were sold. Dana’s cakes are unmatched, and the fact that we were able to mix and match various flavors to meet our flavor profiles. We did a combination of cake and cupcakes so everyone could have a flavor they would love. The cupcakes were a major hit, I even had people report back to me that they had multiple cupcakes because they were that good. I found out about Dana’s shoppe through the facebook page six months prior to our wedding and reached out to her by text. She invited us over for a taste test. She put out several samples and recommended some combinations. It was amazing how flexible she and her staff were regarding our options. We knew we were in good hands immediately, and we left the shop with a bunch of freshly made cookies and treats in a box! We went back several times for treats in the 9 months leading up to our wedding day. There was always some new cookie or cake flavor that we wanted to try. Our wedding cake consisted of 2 layers: a large pina colada base layer and a smaller chocolate layer on top. Combining those 2 flavours can be challenging, but they pulled it off flawlessly. Nearly every guest wanted a second round of cake. Dana and her staff were very punctual, friendly and reassuring throughout the process. I would definitely recommend Dana’s Cake Shoppe as a first choice to all our friends and family.

My husband and I are SO pleased with our wedding “cake!” Dana allowed us to present a unique idea to her to and she didn’t even hesitate, agreeing to create this cookie cake in lieu of a traditional wedding cake. She was communicative and professional through the process and helped us decipher serving size options to help our venue determine how to cut the cake appropriately for our guests. Given the times, we (naturally) had to postpone due to COVID, and Dana swiftly accommodated our new wedding date. I contacted Dana with less than a month before we needed a wedding cake for a hastily re-scheduled pandemic wedding. I am not the bride but was helping get details in order. Dana was responsive and willing to work with us on short notice. With few details and modest guidance Dana created an amazing cake. It was delivered in perfect time, beautiful, and equally important - delicious! As an added bonus, we ordered individually wrapped macarons for our guests. The looked elegant and again - delicious. No hesitation to give full endorsement of Dana and her bakery for your event.

We picked Dana’s Bake Shoppe after our baker cancelled one month before our wedding. We explained the situation and she was more than happy to do the wedding. My daughter picked just a two tier cake for pictures and cutting. It was a pina colada cake which was ABSOLUTELY phenomenal. The cake was so moist and it had a fresh pineapple filling with a buttercream frosting. We decided to do a dessert bar for the guests which included fresh fruit tarts, chocolate eclairs, cannoli, napoleons, assorted cupcakes. We received so many compliments all night long. Absolutely loved working with Dana to create the perfect selection of sweets for my engagement party. Dana is very creative and her work is amazing. From flavor to aesthetics she really wowed us. I ordered a 2 tier cake and it was very fresh and delicious. The top tier was a lemon cake with strawberry icing and the bottom tier was a coconut cake with fresh pineapple. I also ordered chocolate covered strawberries and a variety of macarons. Dana was extremely helpful every step of the way, and provided her expert opinion and advice on flavors and decor. By far one of the easiest and best decisions we've made in our wedding was having Dana make our cake. It was reasonably priced, and tasted absolutely amazing, and not to mention looked so beautiful- simple and elegant. Our wedding cake from Dana’s Cake Shoppe was so good! After we had our tasting there, we knew we'd need Dana to be our wedding cake maker! We got 3 different flavors to suit the varied taste of the guests and everyone raved about the cakes! We were even told by many people that it was the best cake they'd ever had. The buttercream frostings she makes are so fresh and deceptively light, not like a lot of the frosting you'd find anywhere else. The design was exactly what we asked for! Where do I start? My wife and I got married on September 6, 2018. From our cake tasting to subsequent communications to the wedding day...Dana was a pleasure to work with. She was always professional and friendly and replied in a timely manner. As is common, I was worried about the cake arriving to the venue on time and had nightmares about whether or not the cake would melt before we could see it. I know...completely logical. #weddingnightmares Fortunately, the cake was there on time and looked and tasted better than we could have imagined. If I had to do it all over again, I would hire Dana to make the same exact cake. My wife and I have ZERO complaints. We definitely recommend her and sent our photographer and guests away with her business card.

She did such a great job with the design so it turned perfectly that it was everything I could have hoped for and more. The cake flavors there are amazing and they have some really unique ones. My three-tier cake ended up being a layer of almond cake with blackberry and lime, a layer of chocolate raspberry, and a layer of caramel spice. It was so good and everyone at the wedding LOVED it!

Dana provided the cake for my baby shower and it was absolutely perfect! I had provided a photo from Pinterest of the cake I was seeking and she mastered it. The top tier was peanut butter butter cream and the bottom was strawberry buttercream. All of my guest for my baby shower raved that the cake tasted wonderful. She delivered the cake as well which made it super convenient for everyone since my mother and mother in law were hosting the shower and aren't familiar with this area. I would highly suggest Dana to anyone as she is wonderful to work with and is truly talented in mastering complex two-tiered cakes.

Our birthday cake was so DELICIOUS!!! Guests were all talking about how good it was!! Dana is so patient, professional and responsive every step of the way! She was such a pleasure to work with. When ever I have a big occasion, I turn to Dana for the best cake. I have ordered around 3 or 4 times from her and everytime she surprises us with the taste and the perfect design. I placed an order for a custom cake for my baby shower and it turned out to be the most beautify and tasty cake I’ve ever had. I provided just one picture and a few details to customize the cake and Dana executed the idea perfectly. The theme of my baby shower was the little prince and as you can see from my pictures, the cake brought the whole theme and presentation together wonderfully. The cake was so flavorful and received many compliments from the guests at my baby shower. From the moist cake, the delicious frosting, to the strawberry filling and even the fondant (which is usually not very edible at other places) – it was simply perfect. OMG when I saw the cake I couldn't believe my eyes. It was designed like Mosaic to represent our organization, Mozaic. The second cake was designed like the logo of our new project. I described to Dana the nature of our event, Refugee Kitchen grand opening, then left the whole mission to her. She did great job. The cake went beyond everyone's expectation when we tasted it. it was different flavor in each level. The taste of the fruit cake was heavily good. It melted in my mouth in a very rich taste. Working with Dana was AMAZING! She produced a beautiful and very yummy wedding cake for my recent wedding - my husband and I ate the top tier already (we couldn't wait the whole year lol) and our guests have continued to share how delicious our wedding cake was!
