Lessons are private and include exclusive use of the dance studio so that you can practice and prepare without the confusion created by hearing and seeing too many things all at once. Group lessons are also available if you want to practice dancing in a more public setting. The Dance Easy team would be happy to provide you with additional details and answer any questions you may have. They’ll begin by discussing the memory you want to create, and then they’ll explore music and choreography options until they find the solution that is just right for you. Marlene has taught literally tens of thousands of individuals and couples. in 2026 Dance Easy celebrates 30 years in business. Her specialty is beginners and wedding couples. Students like her ability to explain material in ways they understand, her patience and her flexibility in working with people. Depending on where you have your lessons, you may also meet her rescue dogs. They are in a separate area. Marlene is an animal lover and has fostered dogs, cats and horses.

ery patient, got down to business during the lessons, and was super flexible with schedules. Would highly recommend! It was nice to not just sway for these special dances and it was fun to learn a new skill.

nce and excitement for our dance. The next lesson we were able to add on more to our first dance, and the third lesson we worked out any sticky spots and felt 100% comfortable with our plan. My fiancé and I have never been able to dance cohesively together. Until now. My fiancé used to be so nervous to lead and I would try to take over and it just wouldn’t work. Now he has the confidence to push and pull me where he wants to go and I can turn my brain off. This is after only 3 lessons!! Great experience and I would recommend dance easy to any bride and groom!

but didn't want a full choreography, and the "crash course" lesson was perfect. By the end of the hour, we felt great about our first dance and a couple of extra moves we could incorporate without it being a full choreography. We would absolutely recommend Marlene - she is great!

o look really awkward out on the dance floor with all eyes on us! After just one hour with Marlene, we already felt so much more confident and felt like we finally knew how to slow dance! We ended up doing 4 lessons total, and my husband and I are SO happy with how our first dance turned out. Marlene taught us the basic steps to do that were on beat with our song, and how to do a few different spins. It was exactly what we wanted, and my husband and I had so much fun at the lessons, too!

My husband & I wanted to take dance lessons as a refresher. We had been taking classes elsewhere for about a year & a half. Marlene was wonderful. She allowed us to come in & pract...

ice while helping us with notes of steps we had forgot. Once she knew our wheelhouse she choreographed our wedding dance. It was absolutely perfect & our guests were extremely impressed. We also invited my in-laws to join. They didn't have any dance experience. Marlene was great with beginners and helped with a dance for my husband & his mom. Her studio space has very nice floors, huge windows & tons of natural light. She even moved chairs to create an exact replica of our dance floor. Doing this really helped us envision the space and calm our nerves. It helped make sure we faced the guests & didn't dance off the floor. We highly recommend Dance easy to anyone, engaged or not!
