Dance Fever Studios

My soon to be husband and I are big fans of Dance Fever Studios out in South Slope Brooklyn. We have been working with Noelia for a number of months now--and have gone from pretty awkward and uncoordinated to pretty decent, if I do say so myself (which is saying a lot!) and have had a lot of fun and laughs in the process. Noelia is fantastic. Not only is she a talented dancer but she is a very good and patient teacher who brings just the right amount of lightheartedness and humor to our lessons. My groom-to be was initially very reluctant to take classes ("why do we have to do this? I already know how/like the way I dance?!")...but since starting lessons with Noelia a few months ago has changed his tune. We are both so grateful to now have the ability to dance together with more ease and confidence. Private lessons are not cheap--but as I told Noelia as I signed up for our second round of lessons, "They're worth every penny." These lessons feel like an investment in our future and all the fun times we hope to share dancing at celebrations with friends and family. Thanks Noelia, Franicis and Dance Fever Studios!

We bought a package of 5 lessons to learn our first dance for our wedding. The experience was very fun! The instructors were friendly and helpful! The dance turned out great and we received many compliments. We would highly recommend dance fever studios!

Preparing for the first dance was definitely the scariest part of prepping for the wedding for me, but the team at Dance Fever was awesome! We both had an amazing time learning and dancing and we nailed our first dance! We enjoyed the lessons so much, we are continuing to go to Dance Fever for additional classes, simply because it was so much fun. Cannot say enough about how great Dance Fever was!

My fiance and I had THE BEST time working on our moves at Dance Fever Studios. We are new-ish residents of park slope, getting married this October, and wanted to look more put together on the dance floor for the big day. Nothing crazy flashy and choreographed, but more than the boring side to side you learn in middle school. We purchased the 10 pack upfront, great deal, and had the chance to work primarily with Noelia, but also with Francis. They both brought different perspectives to help us both develop our skills. Every lesson was full of laughs and a good time, along with excellent directive instruction. Hardest part was learning to follow and letting my groom lead! Noelia was able to break down the song for our first dance and give us certain steps to accomplish before certain lyrics, making it somewhat choreographed, but more flexible. We also learned the basics for the hustle and swing which will look great at the wedding! Among all the stress of planning a wedding, this was something fun that I'm so happy we committed to doing together before the big day. And Noelia and Francis always made it an enjoyable experience. I'm looking forward to attending their monthly events in the future to keep up with our dance moves!

My Son and I had a wonderful experience at Dance Fever Studios. The Lessons were fun and the instructors made the dances seem easy. We enjoyed going and highly recommed the lessons to anyone who wants to learn to dance, especially for a wedding as we did.

My Dad and I took dance lessons at Dance Fever in Brooklyn to learn the waltz for our father/daughter dance. It was truly an amazing experience! Frances and Noelia are amazing instructors - patient, funny, true instructors. My father and I knew ZERO about the waltz before starting lessons and were able to give our wedding attendees an emotional "show" at our reception, thanks to Dance Fever Studios. We purchased lesson packages, which are affordable if you're in need of several lessons or are learning something new. A very professional yet fun environment - highly recommend!

We did a 5 lessons package here. In 5 lessons, we got a great dance. I was surprised how well it went. I thought it would take longer, or more lessons. Francis, our teacher, taught us the walk out, the dance and we even had a dip at the end. Our wedding guests were very impressed. Go to Dance Fever and you will be very happy with the lessons.

This place is great. My husband and I both are not dancers. They are making us into dancers for our wedding. We both want a great routine. Something that you'd see on Dancing With The Stars. And, we are getting it here. They're not just teaching us a routine, but are showing us how to really move and look like dancers. We are loving it. So glad we found this studio.
