Dance Pizazz

David has put so much care and thought into the choreography for our first dance. Our song is non-traditional, but David has been able to take advantage of that and combine beautiful spins with playful dance breaks. We both came in with little to no dance experience, but after just a couple lessons, we began feeling more comfortable and confident. We cannot wait to show off our truly one of a kind wedding dance!

My fiancé and I started taking dance lessons at Dance Pizazz just one month before our wedding, and not only did they teach us a beautiful waltz, the staff made sure we had fun doing it. The environment is not only friendly, but reassuring. Even when my fiancé and I were frustrated and stepping on each others’ toes, the other dancers always paid us a compliment. When you’re at Dance Pizazz, you will see a variety of skill levels. However, you will never feel inadequate no matter what skill level you posses. Whether you head to Dance Pizazz as hobby, or for a special occasion, it is definitely the place to be!

For our 25th anniversary party my husband and I wanted to learn to ballroom dance. We started in January of 2021 but my husband was very apprehensive. He has never danced and claims to have two left feet. With David s amazing teaching, guidance and patience we pulled off a great performance at our anniversary party. Even though our event is over, we are continuing our lessons with David to learn swing, salsa and tango!!

I used to go here when it was at a different location and loved it. When we went to do the dance trial the guy was a bit pushy about us making a decision that day on which package we wanted to do. He was supposed to call me that following Monday and I never heard back. So, I am going to look elsewhere instead.

I cannot rave about this place enough! After getting engaged, my dad had mentioned doing a fun choreographed dance for our Father-Daughter Dance. Our instructor, Sterling, was amazing and helped us pull off an amazing dance that was so fun to learn and perform! We both have “two left feet” and he was able to make us look great! It was so much fun practicing and making memories with my dad that I know we will cherish forever. If you are thinking about getting dance lessons for your wedding or just for fun, you have to do it here!

My fiancé and I came to Dance Pizazz with no prior dance background about 2 months out from our wedding. We loved the idea of doing a song by our favorite artist that matched our Halloween theme. It was upbeat, face paced, and very much outside the realm of a traditional first dance. Our dance instructor was truly a pleasure to work with. He was funny and witty and kind. He worked so well with us even when I came in half way through our choreography on week 4 freaking out because I was convinced I couldn’t dance in my wedding dress. He quickly reassured me that we could make some minor adjustments and still keep on track to finish our dance in the 8 weeks. In the end we’ve ended up with a fun and flirty dance that was so fun for my partner and I to learn. We cannot wait to have this memory to look back in from our wedding day for years to come. Nikki and Mike are very charismatic and gifted. The also have the ability to teach me how to dance, combine dance moves etc. Sterling is our instructor and he is amazing!

Everyone is so nice and helpful! Very knowledgeable about teaching! We have so much fun that we referred my brother and his wife. We hired Mike (the owner) to DJ for our reception! So excited! Our dance instructor, Sterling, makes this so much fun. I was very nervous and self-conscious but he eased my nerves immediately. This place is highly recommended. Dance Pizazz, Mike, Nikki, and especially Sterling were absolutely incredible. We came to Dance Pizazz initially for our first dance, but I eventually ended up going there for the mother-son dance as well. Throughout the pandemic, they continually adapted their guidelines to make sure that we were safe but were still able to have an amazing experience. My wife and I were both a bit apprehensive about the idea of taking dance lessons, but we could not have been happier with the final result. Everyone at Dance Pizazz was incredibly friendly and helpful. At no point did we ever feel uncomfortable or out of place. We also highly recommend Sterling to anyone who is considering takin lessons. He was fun, patient, and knowledgeable. He truly helped us make the best out of the dances for our wedding.

My husband and I started taking dance lessons two years ago. We had a couple of weddings that year and we wanted to feel comfortable dancing. This year we had a spring wedding that we were looking forward to showing off how far we had come in two years. Sadly, the wedding was cancelled due to Covid-19. The couple did get married in a small ceremony. My husband and I celebrated our 34th anniversary on September 27. On September 26, we danced at an open house party at Dance Pizazz. Thank you to Mike for choreographing a routine to our wedding song. A huge thank you to Sterling for teaching us the routine. We had fun! We would highly recommend Dance Pizazz.

My fiancee and I started taking lessons with Sterling at Dance Pizazz in preparation for our First Dance at our wedding! Sterling created our choreography and taught us all our necessary steps. Neither of us had prior dance experience and we felt welcome and at ease at Dance Pizazz. They also set us up with a "practice performance" at one of their Open Dance nights, which was a great way to have a dress rehearsal of our First Dance without the pressure of our family and friends on our wedding day! We began our lessons at the start of the Coronavirus in the Spring of 2020 so we had our first two lessons virtually with Sterling. They were a great introduction and once things started to reopen we began in-person lessons at the studio, where temperature checks and masks are required and hand sanitizer is available in great abundance. We highly recommend Dance Pizazz!

We honestly hadn't considered taking real dance lessons for our wedding until it popped up on The Knot, and they recommended Dance Pizazz! We were only able to squeeze 4 lessons into our budget and were a little worried that wasn't enough time to get through our dance, but Sterling made it happen! We had the best time learning to dance with him, and we are so excited to surprise our friends and family with a choreographed dance!

My fiance and I were somewhat terrified when we started thinking about how we would pull off a first dance at our wedding. We showed up at dance pizazz only a month before our big day asking for help. They were so friendly and easy to work with. Our dance instructor, Sterling listened to what we wanted and was able to put a beautiful routine together for us. My husband suggested dance lessons at the beginning of the year and I was a bit surprised. I never knew he would be interested, but we took a chance and felt very comfortable from the moment we walked into the beautiful studio at Dance Pizzaz. Our instructor Garth is a perfect fit. He took the time to explore with us various dances until we knew which ones interested us the most. He has made the dancing relevant in social settings outside of the studio. Our daughter was married last week and we lit up the dance floor! We had several complements from the guests on our dancing and how much fun it looked like we were having. So true! One of the bridesmaids even commented to her fiancé that she hopes they can be just like us years down the road. Dancing is just a great time and after a long day at work, we always leave our dance lesson in a good mood. A big thank you to Garth and all of the instructors at Dance Pizzaz for sharing with us their time, talent, and love of dance. Highly recommend!

We are as NON dancers as they come, but wanted to give our guest a fun first dance instead of just the old high school sway. Mike helped us with taking our ideas and laying out a great flow as well as taking 3 songs and cutting them into one for our dance. We couldn't be happier with the way things turned out! We are so happy we are going to continue our lessons after all the wedding stuff is behind us.

I highly recommend Dance Pizazz. We started lessons because of our daughter’s upcoming wedding, but have had so much fun we are continuing on to learn more. Our instructor Garth also helped perfect the Father Daughter dance and make it fun. No need to feel apprehensive. The studio atmosphere is accepting and supportive from the instructors to the fellow students. It is the perfect escape from wedding stress.

Dance Pizazz is amazing! I am not a dancer and I knew I could use some help on figuring out where to start on both my father daughter dance as well as my first dance with my fiancé for my wedding. My dad and I worked with Garth and my fiancé and I worked with Sterling. Both instructors were amazing! Each of them brought something different to the plate that made for 2 wonderful routines that each had their own distinguishing factors. Everyone at Dance Pizazz was friendly and always willing to help out if a demonstration by the professionals was needed. Dance Pizazz is amazing. My fiancee and I have loved every aspect (the facility, the technology, the decor, the energy, the passion for dancing, the opportunities to practice what we've learned...) of learning to dance together for our wedding dance... and beyond! Dance Pizazz is fantastic! My fiance and I have no dancing experience but they were able to choreograph a wonderful dance for us and even shortened and slowed our song to fit our skill level. The result is a beautiful routine with great photo lines that we absolutely enjoyed learning and practicing!

We have a great experience with Dance Pizazz and decided to do our wedding dance lesson through here. Mike and Nikki (owners) are very nice and always welcomed everyone with smiles and are very encouraging. You can feel their passion for dance and their love to teach people. They are very accepting of all people and takes their time to help you learn to dance. I had very little experience with dancing and was very shy to start learning but they made you feel confident and comfortable that you forget about it and just have so much fun learning. Definitely recommended this place and definitely going to continue to take different classes for fun and was a great bonding experience with my significant other

My husband and I wanted to take lessons for our first dance at our wedding. After doing some research, we picked Dance Pizazz due to the great reviews. I’m so glad we took lessons with them! The owners, Mike and Nikki, were there greeting us every week we went. Our instructor, Naomi, was wonderful and she really made sure we knew our stuff. We didn’t tell any of our guests that we were taking lessons and everyone was surprised when we danced together. It couldn’t have been more perfect. I highly recommend Dance Pizazz to anyone who wants to take lessons. We will definitely be back to learn another style of dance!

We loved working with Dance Pizazz before our wedding. My husband and I met dancing, so we had a bit of experience before we started choreographing our First Dance with Mike from D.P. He was very receptive to how we wanted the feel and flow of our dance to go, and easily accommodated our requests. He perfectly blended traditional slow dance and a waltz for our First Dance. He was a great instructor to work with, allowed us to practice in his studio when there was open floor space, and even mixed the song we wanted to use to for our dance. We can't recommend them enough

We went to Dance Pizazz for our first dance because we had previously been students. Stirling has been our teacher from the start, and Stirling and the Dance Pizazz staff has exceeded our expectations over and over. We never expected to have so much fun ballroom dancing. When we were ready to train for our First Dance, Stirling was able to squeeze a Waltz into 3 sessions (because we procrastinated), and we wowed our family and friends. Thank you Stirling, Mike and Nikki!

My husband and I had VERY little dance experience prior to taking lessons, and the thought of dancing in front of all of our friends and family was a little scary, so we decided to take lessons. Naomi was our instructor and was so easy to work with! She helped us learn a dance that we could do with our limited experience, and also added a few showy moments that made it look like we really knew what we were doing. We felt much more confident after taking lessons at Dance Pizazz and I'm so glad we did! Our first dance was amazing :)

Dance Pizazz helped me and my husband, both total beginners at dancing, get ready for our first dance. The final result was beautiful, fun, and memorable. The process to get there was also fun, and we knew we were in good hands. Over the course of 7 lessons, Sterling helped us choreograph our intro and our finale, and helped my husband gain the skills necessary to lead a natural, not-choreographed middle. In a few additional lessons we tacked on at the end, Nikki helped us fine tune things while Sterling was out of the country in the few weeks before our wedding. Both were generous with their time and talent, and Nikki helped us shore up a few things and slow down so that our photographer was able to get excellent line shots on the big day. Dance Pizazz instructors really know what they are doing, when it comes to helping couples get ready for their wedding dance. We also loved going to Dance Parties and gained things from the group lessons. Speaking for myself, I felt very comfortable and welcome by all at the dance studio. Dance Pizazz's prices are a bit on the steep side, but if you can afford the investment (or decide to splurge, as my husband and I did), you will not be disappointed by the service you will receive.

Learning to dance so you can look elegant for your "First Dance" can be awkward. However, Dance Pizazz was the best choice we could have ever made! They were great. Patient, encouraging and a heck of a lot of fun! We loved it! Sterling was awesome!

For our April wedding, my husband and I decided to start taking dance lessons as we each have two left feet. My husband was hesitant so upon reading reviews, I contacted a few dance studios. Dance Pizazz was the only studio that responded in a timely manner. I spoke with one of the owners, Nikki and she was very helpful so I purchased a private introductory lesson. We began taking lessons from Sterling in January and he is nothing short of amazing. He taught us on our level and took the time to repeat steps until we got them. Sterling was very understanding when we changed our wedding song a few lessons in because we decided we wanted to dance another style instead. He listened to us when we said we wanted to learn more moves before the choreography. The other owner, Mike, worked with Sterling and he choreographed our wedding dance. Mike worked with us as well once we had the dance memorized to help us fine tune the steps and made changes to the dance as needed. This was such a wonderful surprise to our guests and we were so happy with what we had accomplished in such a short time. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves so much that we are continuing taking private and group lessons. We highly recommend Dance Pizazz.

Mike and Nikki are absolutely fantastic. I can not say enough good things about working with them. If you want a choreographed dance, this is the place to go. They start with the basics and work with you to polish the dance. My husband, who is not a huge fan of doing anything in front of people, felt super comfortable with our dance and was so excited to show it off. Truly one of the best choices we made for our wedding day!

2 weeks before our destination wedding, we realized that between planning and packing we had forgotten to take some dance lessons! Dance Pizazz was AMAZING! Sterling was our instructor and we absolutely loved him! We had so much fun. We ended up only being able to fit in a few classes but Sterling was able to develop and teach us a fantastic routine for our first dance. We took 5 private lessons for our first dance at Dance Pizazz. We weren't thrilled about going to lessons or doing our first dance in front of our guests as we aren't great dancers to begin with. However, once we started our lessons we ended up finding out we really enjoyed them and dancing! They became mini date nights that we looked forward to. Sterling was our instructor and was amazing!!!! Mike and him choreographed a dance to go with our first dance song. Everyone at Dance Pizazz was so nice and friendly. Dance Pizazz is a great place to learn for your first dance with amazing people! You can do a full choreographed dance or simply learn some basics for your reception and learn how to dance together. Remember the amount of time and effort you put in will correlate to what you get out of it! My husband and I started 3 months before the wedding and we both had dance experience. Mike and Nikki were able to tailor to our skill set and made an awesome dance for us! When we danced our dance the night of we felt so comfortable and it was so great just dancing together and I am so glad we went!

I knew that my fiance and I would benefit from dance lessons before our wedding, since neither of us dance at all! Mike and Nikki operate a top dance studio. My wife and I are learning how to dance. We wanted to become more active and to be able to dance socially or better in our own living room. I recommend very highly Dance Pizaaz.

We have two of our kids and a niece get married this year, so we took some dance lessons. Sterling was an excellent and patient teacher. He helped us with the father of the bride dance and then with the mother of the groom dance. The staff are so friendly and helpful! They have dance parties that allow you to get out there and practice what you've learned and to learn new dances as well. This is a class act dance school!!

Found Dance Pizazz though Thumbtack and also saw they were highly rated on The Knot. Our experience with them has been awesome! They are a little on the pricy side but it's personal attention every lesson! They make everything seem simple and easy and people we've shown are impressed with our progress. Can't wait til the wedding day to put everything together!

I luckily stumbled on this place because my weekly trip to the grocery store is literally right next door to this studio. I was a little nervous on what kind of dance my fiancé and I would be able to do because the song as our first dance is a little eclectic and has a difficult melody. Mike and Nikki were fantastic and made an original dance tailored not only to our song choice but to our personalities. I couldn't be happier with our new routine. I can't wait to show off our new moves for the whole family.

My Dad and I worked with Mike and Garth to learn our choreographed father/daughter dance. Not only was it one of my favorite parts of the reception, but heading to Dance class to practice was one of the things I looked forward to every week! They were awesome! Purchased a Groupon for them 4-6 weeks out from our wedding and they were able to get us in with plenty of time to learn a dance fit for our first dance song. The pace of the first two lessons was slower than we'd have liked, but they made it work for our budget and time constraints and we were very happy with the final product. They were great to work with and would recommend them to anyone.

My new husband and I were very pleased with Dance Pizazz! We only gave them approximately 1 month to make us look good for our first dance. We were not dancers and only had the usual dance experience (can you say prom sway?). We told them our song and they suggested a couple of dances we could do. Since we were short of time they taught us as much of the dance we chose as they could. With what we learned they choreographed a dance for us and selected an appropriate length version of our song. Not only did we impress our guests, but we also impressed ourselves. Our DJ stated at the end of our dance to tune in for the next season of Dancing With the Stars.

My, now husband (of 9 days, WOO!), bought me dance lessons for my birthday. Know that my birthday is in May...We were getting married November 12th. I put it off (DONT DO THAT FUTURE BRIDES!!!) until a week before the wedding. Nikki scheduled us in right away and Sterling was our instructor. My husband and I DO NOT dance and honestly never thought we would. We did back to back dance lessons over the course of 5 days prior to the wedding. Sterling was SO patient with us and such a great teacher that we were able to learn pretty fast. Mike choreographed a special dance to our First song and we got to work. Let me just tell you that in the course of 5 days, back to back dance lessons, and practicing at home...WE NAILED THAT FIRST DANCE!!! I cant thank you all enough, you all made our big day that much more special to be able to get this dance down. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

Amazing teachers! Very friendly and understanding when life comes up and changes need to happen! They choreographed my first dance to my song and changed it as needed based on our ability. Such a fun place to spend our evenings together!

My fiance and I went to Dance Pizazz 3 weeks before our wedding. We were able to learn a choreographed dance in one weeks time. The dance instructors at Dance Pizazz make learning to dance very easy. I would choose Dance Pizazz all over again for our dance needs.

So, there we were.... My bride and I both have two left feet and our wedding is coming up in two and a half weeks. We both want to have a dance that will be memorable and fun for both of us instead of just rocking back and forth waiting for the song to hurry up and be over with. We figured why not go in and see what they can offer. At the very worst we were thinking maybe they can shorten the song for us so that we don't have to dance for very long. After a 25 minute session we were hooked. These guys are very professional and very fun! Not only did they shorten the song but they added choreography to it. Now, I know you're probably thinking no way they learned this in two and a half weeks.. We thought that too, but let me tell you, they are that good! We were well on our way to being Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers! We enjoyed it so much that now we are wanting to sign up for more classes and actually learn more dances. I can't recommend this place enough. Try them, you won't be disappointed!

The personalization from the moment we walked into the door to the day before our wedding practice, we were treated with respect by people who love to teach others how to dance! We really appreciated the focused attention we received from Sterling, one of the professionals at Dance Pizazz. One of the owners even made a video of what our dance would look like! I definitely would suggest their services. They made two people with very little dance experience master their wedding dance!

My dad and I took some dance lessons here for our father daughter dance for my wedding this November 2016. Our teacher, Sterling, was so great and everyone else that worked here was so enthusiastic about their work.
