alloween theme. It was upbeat, face paced, and very much outside the realm of a traditional first dance.
Our dance instructor was truly a pleasure to work with. He was funny and witty and kind. He worked so well with us even when I came in half way through our choreography on week 4 freaking out because I was convinced I couldn’t dance in my wedding dress. He quickly reassured me that we could make some minor adjustments and still keep on track to finish our dance in the 8 weeks.
In the end we’ve ended up with a fun and flirty dance that was so fun for my partner and I to learn. We cannot wait to have this memory to look back in from our wedding day for years to come.

My wife and I were both a bit apprehensive about the idea of taking dance lessons, but we could not have been happier with the final result. Everyone at Dance Pizazz was incredibly friendly and helpful. At no point did we ever feel uncomfortable or out of place. We also highly recommend Sterling to anyone who is considering takin lessons. My husband and I celebrated our 34th anniversary on September 27. On September 26, we danced at an open house party at Dance Pizazz. essary steps. Neither of us had prior dance experience and we felt welcome and at ease at Dance Pizazz. They also set us up with a "practice performance" at one of their Open Dance nights, which was a great way to have a dress rehearsal of our First Dance without the pressure of our family and friends on our wedding day!
We began our lessons at the start of the Coronavirus in the Spring of 2020 so we had our first two lessons virtually with Sterling. They were a great introduction and once things started to reopen we began in-person lessons at the studio, where temperature checks and masks are required and hand sanitizer is available in great abundance.
We highly recommend Dance Pizazz!

the moment we walked into the beautiful studio at Dance Pizzaz. Our instructor Garth is a perfect fit. He took the time to explore with us various dances until we knew which ones interested us the most. He has made the dancing relevant in social settings outside of the studio. Our daughter was married last week and we lit up the dance floor! We had several complements from the guests on our dancing and how much fun it looked like we were having. So true! One of the bridesmaids even commented to her fiancé that she hopes they can be just like us years down the road. Dancing is just a great time and after a long day at work, we always leave our dance lesson in a good mood. He was very receptive to how we wanted the feel and flow of our dance to go, and easily accommodated our requests. He perfectly blended traditional slow dance and a waltz for our First Dance. He was a great instructor to work with, allowed us to practice in his studio when there was open floor space, and even mixed the song we wanted to use to for our dance.

was also fun, and we knew we were in good hands. Over the course of 7 lessons, Sterling helped us choreograph our intro and our finale, and helped my husband gain the skills necessary to lead a natural, not-choreographed middle. In a few additional lessons we tacked on at the end, Nikki helped us fine tune things while Sterling was out of the country in the few weeks before our wedding. Both were generous with their time and talent, and Nikki helped us shore up a few things and slow down so that our photographer was able to get excellent line shots on the big day. Dance Pizazz instructors really know what they are doing, when it comes to helping couples get ready for their wedding dance. We also loved going to Dance Parties and gained things from the group lessons. Speaking for myself, I felt very comfortable and welcome by all at the dance studio. Dance Pizazz's prices are a bit on the steep side, but if you can afford the investment (or decide to splurge, as my husband and I did), you will not be disappointed by the service you will receive.

e studios. Dance Pizazz was the only studio that responded in a timely manner. I spoke with one of the owners, Nikki and she was very helpful so I purchased a private introductory lesson. We began taking lessons from Sterling in January and he is nothing short of amazing. He taught us on our level and took the time to repeat steps until we got them. Sterling was very understanding when we changed our wedding song a few lessons in because we decided we wanted to dance another style instead. He listened to us when we said we wanted to learn more moves before the choreography. The other owner, Mike, worked with Sterling and he choreographed our wedding dance. Mike worked with us as well once we had the dance memorized to help us fine tune the steps and made changes to the dance as needed. This was such a wonderful surprise to our guests and we were so happy with what we had accomplished in such a short time.
My husband and I enjoyed ourselves so much that we are continuing taking private and group lessons. We highly recommend Dance Pizazz.

I would be able to do because the song as our first dance is a little eclectic and has a difficult melody. Mike and Nikki were fantastic and made an original dance tailored not only to our song choice but to our personalities. I couldn't be happier with our new routine. I can't wait to show off our new moves for the whole family.

Purchased a Groupon for them 4-6 weeks out from our wedding and they were able to get us in with plenty of time to learn a dance fit for our first dance song. The pace of the firs...
t two lessons was slower than we'd have liked, but they made it work for our budget and time constraints and we were very happy with the final product.
They were great to work with and would recommend them to anyone.

My new husband and I were very pleased with Dance Pizazz! We only gave them approximately 1 month to make us look good for our first dance. We were not dancers and only had the ...
usual dance experience (can you say prom sway?). We told them our song and they suggested a couple of dances we could do. Since we were short of time they taught us as much of the dance we chose as they could. With what we learned they choreographed a dance for us and selected an appropriate length version of our song. Not only did we impress our guests, but we also impressed ourselves. Our DJ stated at the end of our dance to tune in for the next season of Dancing With the Stars.
