Bethany is amazing!!! For two terrible dancers, Bethany made us both feel so much better about having to preform. In just our first appointment we learned so many tricks to make us look like we actually know what we’re doing. Highly highly recommend booking with Bethany!

We walked in so insecure about our first dance but walked out feeling so confident after taking Bethany’s class. She was a wonderful teacher who was patient and kind. Alex was also really great in taking the time to show us step by step when we were messing up. I couldn’t recommend this class enough!

Bethany is the absolute best! My fiancé and I loved taking lessons with her. Neither of us are good at dancing, and she broke the steps down in a way that made them easy to learn. We purchased the 3-pack, which was perfect. We learned the dance in the first two lessons and then used the last lesson to refine it. Best of all, we had so much fun doing it. All I can say is THANK GOD for Bethany at Love Dance HTX!! My fiancée and I came here for our wedding dance prep, and we were so nervous because neither of us had ever danced before and are rather awkward and uncoordinated on a good day. Thanks to Bethany and all her help, we left the class feeling SO MUCH better and were pleasantly surprised by what we were able to accomplish with just one class! If you are looking for a fun date night experience or a place for you and your partner to feel more comfortable dancing together, this is it! We did the Wedding Prep 101 class and it exceeded all expectations! We were hesitant being with other couples but with the BYOB and time to relax and chit chat, it wasn’t an issue. The workers were amazing and so kind (good dancers too 😉). My partner and I are already looking forward to having another date night there, and I also plan on bringing a friend there for some line dancing!

We actually used the Love Dance HTX space for our rehearsal dinner, and it was perfect! Lisa was super communicative and prompt in her responses. They provided 9 or 10 long tables with chairs and benches - I think we had 60 guests at our rehearsal dinner and we were able to use solely their tables/chairs. Alex helped us make a floor plan and had things set up when we got there. We were able to bring in our own decor and catering to have the perfect rehearsal dinner! Thanks so much, Love Dance!

We came to Love Dance HTX for a first dance group class and they exceeded our expectations! Everyone loved our dance and I am so happy we did it! We can’t believe we didn’t have any choreography planned and are so glad we came here! I highly recommend coming to them for a class!

Dance lessons at Love Dance HTX were worth every penny. With Alex as our instructor, we were able to learn our dance in two lessons, perfect it in another and then use the last two to add on some mother-son choreography. Lessons were a blast! They were literally the best part of the wedding planning process. BYOB was a big bonus to make it feel like a date night and help us loosen up on the dance floor. Everyone was raving about our first dance at the wedding. I cannot recommend this dance studio enough.

We ended up getting the 10 lesson package out of fear that there was no way we would be able to pull off our first dance. We should not have worried. Bethany was our instructor and she was absolutely phenomenal!! She is so nice, supportive, fun, and energetic!! She knows how to provide constructive feedback and still make us feel like rockstars! Lessons became something my fiance and I really looked forward to every week amidst the stress of wedding planning. It was such a wonderful bonding experience and I would definitely recommend it! We got lots of positive feedback on our first dance. Our DJ ended up playing the wrong version of our song. Pre-Bethany, we probably would have panicked, but because of our training we just went with it! I would definitely recommend Love Dance HTX!!!

Absolutely fantastic experience!!! My fiancé and I purchased the five dance class package and we are so thankful we did! Having a group of classes enabled us to truly develop even further as a dance couple in life! Bethany was a phenomenal and absolutely hysterical instructor!!! LDH is the perfect team to help you feel comfortable and have fun for your first dance as a married couple. The instructors got to know us to help make the moves fit with our personality and us as a couple. We told all of our guests this was the most fun part of wedding planning for us. We had so many compliments from our family!

Me and my fiance have gone to two of their Wedding 101 classes and it is awesome. They make you feel comfortable and you learn a lot without feeling overwhelmed. We are definitely going back for more lessons!

What a fun evening! Lisa, her husband Chris and Bethany led Wedding Prep 101 this past Friday. I can’t recommend the event enough - it was the perfect way to step into dance lessons and get ready for our first dance! It was BYOB and appropriately spaced for social distancing.

Lisa was great! She took two non- dancers and made us look great for our special day! We may go back for more later we had so much fun with it!

The only thing my fiancé wanted was to do a dance lesson. That was the only request he had during our wedding planning lol. We booked with Love, Dance, Houston and had an amazing time. We learned the dance, drank wine, and giggled. We performed the dance at the wedding and received so many compliments! I highly recommend Love, Dance, Houston!!

We picked a song from Howl's the Moving Castle and wanted to dance Waltz for our first dance. Silly us thinking watching YouTube and teach ourselves will get us there but we were totally wrong lol. After first night of trying we decided that we need a dance teacher ASAP since our wedding date was coming up soon! We stumbled across Love Dance HTX and found the price is very reasonable, so we gave it a try. It was the best decision we made for the whole wedding plan! Lisa helped us and designed a choreography in our first class! She was professional and cheerful! We felt really comfortable in our classes! Our first dance was a success! All of our guests loved it! For the concern of COVID, we all wear masks during our classes and hand sanitizer was provided. They also open the studio for us to practice dancing outside of our classes. They separate the room in different section so we all have our privacy. If you are planning to have a stunning first dance that blows everyone away, we definitely recommend Love Dance HTX.

We initially visited Love Dance HTX as a possible rehearsal luncheon venue, and then also ended up signing up for a wedding dance package. This ended up being one of the best decisions we made while wedding planning! Lisa was incredibly patient, kind and so much fun, and helped to choreograph and teach us a beautiful dance to go along with our wedding song. My partner and I are such awkward dancers, we were nervous going into it, but we absolutely loved our dance lessons! They made for a fun, safe date night during the times of COVID, and we ended up feeling confident with our dancing going into the wedding day. We received so many compliments on our dance, many told us it was the highlight of the night! Lisa was an awesome instructor. She was super chill and choreographed a dance that worked for us. She showcased our strengths and was able to work through any problems we were having with a specific movement. She was extremely patient and funny. If we weren’t moving away we’d go back to take more classes just because we had so much fun! All of our guests were so impressed with our first dance and blown away when we told them we only took 5 classes. You should definitely choose Love Dance HTX!

I am so grateful we decided to take dance lessons for our wedding. To start off, my husband and I are NOT dancers. We are athletic, and are sometimes coordinated, but aren’t blessed in the rhythm department. We wanted to do something special and memorable, not just shuffle around the dance floor for 3-5 min while everyone looked bored. So, we signed up for the Wedding Package plan and took 5 lessons with Agne, plus one Wedding Prep 101 class with Lisa and Chris. Agne choreographed a beautiful first dance to our chosen song, “You are the Reason” by Calum Scott. The first few lessons took us out of our comfort zone, but we were able to catch on and memorize the dance. Agne was patient with us but also challenged us, and the end result was great. We were set and ready to go in March 2020, but then Covid put a wrench in our plans… Fast (or slow) forward to September 2020 when we had our reception. We didn’t practice at all for the 6 months between our ceremony and reception; we did not even go over the steps in our heads or look at the video. The night before our reception, we literally practiced the dance 4 or 5 times, start to finish (all based on recall; we didn’t even have the moves written down, or a full video of it for reference). We were pleasantly surprised when we got down the steps with ease. For our official first dance, in front all our family and friends, we pulled it off seamlessly, including the impressive-looking lift. Our gym friends were especially impressed. It was definitely the most “magical” moment of the night, captured with one of our favorite pics of the night. I would, without reservation, recommend booking with Love Dance HTX to make that special moment even more special. Don’t let time, cost, or comfort level be a barrier. In fact, we enjoyed the time we had during practice, as a unique time of bonding and learning about each other better, especially amidst the busy, stressful times of wedding planning.

We were gifted a session with Love Dance Houston and it was one of the best gifts we could have received! My fiancé and I never really danced and figured we would just go around in circles for our first dance (lol). Lisa put something together for us that sweet, easy and achievable. We attended 3 private lessons and 1 Wedding Prep 101 class to prepare for our first dance. We have zero dancing experience, and these lessons saved us from looking foolish in front of our guests. Lisa choreographed an easy to follow, polished routine for us. She is very patient and upbeat which made the lesson comfortable and fun! If you are on the fence about taking dance lessons, I advise testing them out with Wedding Prep 101. It makes for a fun date night, and you will learn some moves that you can incorporate into your first dance. Lisa was easy to schedule with, as she offers evening lessons which worked perfectly with our work schedule. Her studio is conveniently located at Sawyer Yards, has easy parking and is BYOB. We highly recommend taking lessons at Love Dance Houston!

We can’t say enough good things about Lisa and Chris at Love Dance Houston! We started to take lessons from Lisa before we got engaged for fun and to learn two step (perfect for the Rodeo and BBQ Cook-Off), salsa, swing and many other dances! When we actually got engaged, we started to attend her “Wedding Prep” classes and I am so glad we did. She makes sure that we will flow with our song but also make sure that we look good for the photographer! Very easy instructions and directions for every level of dancer. With our wedding coming up, I wanted to actually bring my dad to Love Dance Houston for a Father Daughter Dance Class. I have never seen my dad dance in my life, and I wanted to at least do one class so we could get the ballroom dancing basics down and how to turn and do a couple of combos so we both felt confident and comfortable on the dance floor for the big day. They were SO GREAT and even with COVID and social distancing pre cautions we were still able to have a productive and informative dance lesson and they were kind enough to record a video on my phone so my dad and I could watch and practice! Lisa and Chris are the absolute BEST! I purchased the Wedding 101 class as a surprise for my fiance and I to work on our moves for our First Dance! The class exceeded our expectations! We felt so comfortable and Lisa was very detailed and took her time to really ensure we had the right form for each move. She made us think of things we had not thought about for our First Dance like how to walk onto the dance floor. The venue itself is so nice and welcoming! From the minute you walk in you feel comfortable and Lisa and Chris really make you feel relaxed. They really take the time to get to know their clients on a personal level. I cannot speak highly enough of Lisa and her team. From our first call to our final dance practice- my husband and I felt supported, encouraged, and known. He and I went with 4 or 5 private lessons and 2 group classes. Each visit was fun, instructive, and enjoyable. With a full choreographed dance- it took a lot of practice outside of the studio, but it was so worth it during our reception. Our dance was perfectly made to match our skill level and challenge us just a bit. Our guests had rave reviews! We encourage everyone in the Houston area to visit Lisa and her team! Lisa & Chris are The Best! We attended the Wedding 101 class tonight and it was so fun! The moves they taught were easy to understand and we had plenty of time to practice. Both Lisa & Chris would give couples specific pointers throughout so it was almost like a private class. And it's BYOB! Nearly everyone brought a bottle of wine or beer. The venue is awesome, and they are very welcoming. We are going back on Thursday for a private lesson with my brother-in-law and his wife. Highly recommend!

This was unexpectedly a great time to spend quality time together in addition to refining our first (albeit very simple) first dance. We treated it like learning a new sport and have so much more respect for the art of dancing. Our instructor was incredibly patient but also did not waste time since we originally only planned to take one 1-hr lesson. To our surprise, we can't wait to take a few more, even after the wedding!

Initially, we visited during an open house to view the venue and check out possible vendors. Lisa and Chris were very attentive during our visit and made us feel very welcomed and as if they'd known us for a long time. At the time, they had a promotion going on and we were offered a complimentary Wedding Prep 101 class. We attended-of course!-and we loved it! Now, my fiancee and I have signed up for dance lessons on various types of styles (salsa, cumbia, bachata, merengue, and our first dance choreography). We are very shy and have never danced before, but thanks to our teachers (Agne, Lisa & Chris) we are learning and becoming more confident. I'm also going to go ahead and say we did try another well known dance studio, but it does not beat the price and quality Love Dance Houston provides. A little bit about the atmosphere: welcoming, cozy, very pretty inside.

Love Dance was wonderful! We just got married last weekend and had the most wonderful first dance. We were both reluctant at first but, after some family pressure, signed up for dance lessons. We could not have chosen a better spot. We did the wedding package (group dance lesson and then several private lessons) and that was the best way to learn. Agne was our amazing instructor and helped us along every step of the way. Chris and Lisa were responsive and helpful for setting up lessons and were wonderful people to learn to dance, with too. We had so much fun that we want to continue learning to dance with Love Dance even now that our wedding is over!

Can't recommend enough!!! Lisa is the most patient and generous dance instructor you will ever find. That is the only part of wedding prep that we truly miss. It wouldn't be a stretch to say that our wedding dance preparation changed our life as a couple. We found something that we both enjoyed and help keep us connected to each other. My fiancé and I started going as a date night for Salsa lessons, we loved the idea of a place where we could take lessons and enjoy our wine. Chris and Lisa were so welcoming and made our experience so fun, we knew we had to keep going back. We are now taking Wedding Prep lessons as well as Choreographed sessions for our wedding in November. Lisa is so understanding to our vision and is making this process so fun. I really wanted a special first dance, and did a lot of research on dance studios we could potentially work with. Love Dance Houston had the best offer, and best staff. We purchased a 5 lesson package, chose a song, did a consultation, two group classes, and 5 private lessons. With all of the craziness of wedding planning, our dance lessons were a time to breathe, enjoy each other's company, and the company of our kind, funny, energetic, expert instructors. The studio is well lit and spacious, and we maximized our time in each lesson, practicing again and again as they cheered us on, helping us perfect our dance. It was a huge hit at our wedding. One guest said it was "like something out of a movie." Thank you, Love Dance Houston, for making our wedding magical.

Lisa and her team did wonders for our wedding this past May! We attended Wedding Prep 101 classes and had custom choreography for both me and my husband's first dance as well as my father-daughter dance. Everyone staff is extremely professional, talented, and kind, and they worked with us very well in making the dances our own. It was all so fun...the best part of wedding planning! And going into the reception with confidence is priceless!

My wife and I took 5 of the private dance lessons in preparation for our first dance at our wedding. Neither one of us have any dance experience but really want to impress family and friends at the wedding. In those 5 lessons we went from novices to near professionals with the help of Lisa and Agne (Chris was there for encouragement and cheering on, which is always appreciated). If the thought crosses your mind to book lessons in preparation for some event - do it! We would highly recommend this dance studio to anyone. They also have group lessons that we attended and had just as much fun. Something different for a date night or night out. So much fun!

We didn’t really know what to expect when we first signed up for dance lessons, but Lisa was amazing! We started off with the Wedding Prep 101 group lessons per Lisa’s recommendation just to get a feel for what dancing together would be like. Lisa and her husband Chris did a really good job demonstrating a variety of dance moves during each class and trying to cater to each couple. We ended up taking additional private lessons where Lisa choreographed a dance to our song, and she prepared us very well and made sure we were comfortable! We ended up doing a great job dancing together at our wedding, and we would highly recommend this to any couple that wants to show off some moves during their first dance!

Lisa at Love Dance Houston is amazing! We came to her with a pretty ambitious goal of doing a mash-up for our wedding first dance even though neither of us had any dance experience. We went to a few Wedding Prep classes (which are a fun date night) in addition to private lessons. She did a great job with the choreography and teaching and our dance was a HUGE hit at the wedding. It was an absolute blast working with Lisa and Jessica! I really wanted our first dance to look choreographed, but not be too complex, as I tend to overthink everything! I told Lisa what our first dance song would be, and when we showed up to the first lesson, they already had a simple but elegant dance choreographed and ready to teach us (complete with a dip at the end!). We had two lessons with Lisa and Jessica, and we had so much fun learning the dance and then continuing to rehearse it so that we felt more comfortable. Jessica broke everything down into manageable chunks, and we ended up feeling super comfortable during our first dance! Two lessons were enough for us to feel comfortable for our first dance, but I wish we had had time for more lessons because it was so much fun! I highly recommend Love Dance Houston!

My husband and I absolutely loved working with Lisa and her husband Chris. We were apprehensive about lessons, but decided to take the plunge, knowing this would be a memory we'd have forever. Lessons were fun and we saw improvement each week. Our first dance was perfect and we received so many compliments. One guest told us it was the best first dance they'd ever seen, while another said "I didn't know you two could dance!". We had so much fun dancing together that we want to check out some of the other classes LDH offers.

My husband and I don't often dance together, neither of us are outstanding dancers so it's just not our thing and not where we feel most comfortable. However after taking two of the Wedding Prep dance classes and one private lesson that has changed! Even after our first wedding prep class we went to a wedding and actually got out on the dance floor and had a blast together. We had planned on a simple two step but Lisa helped us construct a dance that was perfect for us and our song. Can't recommend Love Dance Houston enough! We wanted to have some moves up our sleeves for our first dance at our wedding, so we went to Love Dance Houston and we couldn't be happier with our decision! During our private lessons, Lisa went over and above to choreograph the perfect dance for us and then helped us hone our skills to impress our crew. Our first dance went incredibly and the lessons were a fun way for us to bond amidst the wedding planning stress. We went to some of their BYOB couples classes too, which make for a great date night! Love Dance Houston is an amazing dance studio in a fun part of town and we'd recommend them to couples who want to have an extra special first dance and anyone who just wants to have fun dancing! This dance studio is AMAZING! Can't recommend Lisa enough! Me and my now husband waited until the last few weeks before our wedding to start dance lessons and Lisa was SO helpful in choreographing a "do-able" dance for us with a lot of "wow" moments! We were shocked that we were able to pull it off. We went to the Wedding 101 class on a Friday and had a great time and learned a lot.
