it exceeded all expectations! We were hesitant being with other couples but with the BYOB and time to relax and chit chat, it wasn’t an issue. The workers were amazing and so kind (good dancers too 😉). My partner and I are already looking forward to having another date night there, and I also plan on bringing a friend there for some line dancing!

with chairs and benches - I think we had 60 guests at our rehearsal dinner and we were able to use solely their tables/chairs. We stumbled across Love Dance HTX and found the price is very reasonable, so we gave it a try. It was the best decision we made for the whole wedding plan! Lisa helped us and designed a choreography in our first class! She was professional and cheerful! We felt really comfortable in our classes! Our first dance was a success! All of our guests loved it! For the concern of COVID, we all wear masks during our classes and hand sanitizer was provided. They also open the studio for us to practice dancing outside of our classes. They separate the room in different section so we all have our privacy. If you are planning to have a stunning first dance that blows everyone away, we definitely recommend Love Dance HTX.

ed in the rhythm department. We wanted to do something special and memorable, not just shuffle around the dance floor for 3-5 min while everyone looked bored. So, we signed up for the Wedding Package plan and took 5 lessons with Agne, plus one Wedding Prep 101 class with Lisa and Chris. Agne choreographed a beautiful first dance to our chosen song, “You are the Reason” by Calum Scott. The first few lessons took us out of our comfort zone, but we were able to catch on and memorize the dance. Agne was patient with us but also challenged us, and the end result was great. We were set and ready to go in March 2020, but then Covid put a wrench in our plans… Fast (or slow) forward to September 2020 when we had our reception. We didn’t practice at all for the 6 months between our ceremony and reception; we did not even go over the steps in our heads or look at the video. The night before our reception, we literally practiced the dance 4 or 5 times, start to finish (all based on recall; we didn’t even have the moves written down, or a full video of it for reference). We were pleasantly surprised when we got down the steps with ease. For our official first dance, in front all our family and friends, we pulled it off seamlessly, including the impressive-looking lift. Our gym friends were especially impressed. It was definitely the most “magical” moment of the night, captured with one of our favorite pics of the night. I would, without reservation, recommend booking with Love Dance HTX to make that special moment even more special. Don’t let time, cost, or comfort level be a barrier. In fact, we enjoyed the time we had during practice, as a unique time of bonding and learning about each other better, especially amidst the busy, stressful times of wedding planning.

With a full choreographed dance- it took a lot of practice outside of the studio, but it was so worth it during our reception. The venue is awesome, and they are very welcoming. We are going back on Thursday for a private lesson with my brother-in-law and his wife. Highly recommend!

Now, my fiancee and I have signed up for dance lessons on various types of styles (salsa, cumbia, bachata, merengue, and our first dance choreography). We are very shy and have never danced before, but thanks to our teachers (Agne, Lisa & Chris) we are learning and becoming more confident. I'm also going to go ahead and say we did try another well known dance studio, but it does not beat the price and quality Love Dance Houston provides. A little bit about the atmosphere: welcoming, cozy, very pretty inside.
