due to how close we already were to our wedding date. I spoke with Phil on the phone about what the process looks like when he works with couples who are preparing for their wedding. He was kind and helpful when providing the information about what his company offers. We figured out we would best fit with his 10-lesson package due to our time frame and level of experience with dancing. Phil an was easy-going, very knowledgeable, and friendly instructor, which made us feel comfortable with choosing Friendly City Dance Room to prepare for our wedding. Some things that really stand out about the overall experience that we had with this company were the flexibility with scheduling, individualized lessons, and the quality of instruction we received. Appointments were made after agreeing on what worked for both mine and my fiance's schedules and the instructor's availability. He made it easy for adaptations to the appointment times or days to be made when necessary, which was very helpful as the wedding got closer and more final meetings with vendors were taking place. Phil provided us with individualized lessons and pace based on our needs for each appointment. Phil knew that we were beginners in Kizomba with no background in dancing, so he made his lessons easy to follow and spent additional time in areas that were harder for us to ensure we felt comfortable before moving forward. At times he would ask for mine or my fiance's phone so that he could record us performing a certain step. Then he would ask us to continue practicing that step at home and use our own video as our guide to ensure we performed it correctly. The excellent quality of the instruction we received made us feel more confident with how we would be performing when it was time to dance in front of all of our family and friends. Our experience with Friendly City Dance Room and with our instructor Phil was better than we had even imagined. The fun we had with Kizomba lessons formed some of the most special memories leading up to our wedding.
